《Saer Servitude》Chapter 155

Blindfolded, Gisella had just her ears to guess how close the beasts had come to them. She could hear their leaps clearly from where she was suspended along with her daughter.
She hung in the air on the wire charged with sorcery above the starving werewolves. She knew she they were not far from being torn apart by the claws of those werewolves.
Nevertheless, she did not leave any chances of their escape unexplored. She swung herself away, pushing herself entirely on her body strength, until, she touched the wall. Gisella then made an attempt to bend her knees but the string of energy coiled around her like a python's hold locked all bones of her body.
As a result, her body tilted and the noose around her neck tightened.
A werewolf jumped up and almost sliced skin from her body. She was sure that another movement, even the slightest, would suspend her completely by her neck.
"Rikilda." She puffed her voice out.
Rikilda, in the same state as her, coughed from the far corner of the room. Judging by her sound, it seemed as if she was applying Gisella's antics way before Gisella herself.
"Forgive me mother." Rikilda's voice was coarse like she was struggling to breathe, "This all has happened because of me."
Gisella said nothing.
"Mother." Her voice trembled but Gisella did not respond.
"Mother, are you fine?" she cried.
"Yes, I am. Now shut your mouth!" Gisella roared.
From there, Rikilda heard her mother chant something. Maybe it was a spell which she couldn’t understand. While trying to comprehend what she was muttering, she moved and her body hung down by her neck.
In no time, a werewolf caught her leg then started pulling her down, tightening the noose around her neck.

Gisella could hear the guttural. Then came the sound of flesh ripping through flesh.
Terrified, Gisella moved her fingers to create a shield around them only to know she had been incapacitated of doing so. The glowing spring around her diminished her abilities, making her as vulnerable as normal humans.
"MOTHER!" Rikilda screamed.
Something snapped like a twig and Rikilda's voice thinned.
Despite of pessimistic thoughts filling her mind, she continued to focus on creating a shield. It was a torment to focus on her sorcery while her family was under life ending situation. Still, it didn’t stop her from trying everything.
FLASH!
A light passed through the cloth blindfolding her. As far as she could tell, she hadn’t even finished what she was up to. She heard bones crack and tendons break, all ending with whimpers. At last, she heard Rikilda's breathing deep.
Gisella's blindfold came off.
She gazed at Nortze's face infront of her then squinted at Rikilda who had already her blindfold removed. Braden calmed her down breath while Nortze untied Gisella and softly placed her on the floor.
Her back lay first on the blood all over the room.
Thick slime dripped from Gisella's elbow when she crouched. On laying her eyes around, she saw crushed armors with exploded heads and loose limbs dangling out.
Braden helped Rikilda stand and brought her to Gisella.
"Come." Nortze assisted his wife to her feet.
"Where?" she whispered.
"To our home."

My Poetry
So I think some of you know that I already write poetry. Most of my poetry is free verse. I thought why not go ahead and just make a poetry book in here. Some of this is poetry I've already written, others are brand new. God I'm really nervous about this, I don't usually share my poetry.
