《Saer Servitude》Chapter 23

Before the monster house existed and before Great Invasion's fear had spread across the Land of Azmra, the housekeeper had a name.
Great Invasion is nearing. The valiant cut-throat was worried than everyone else. Calajhans are getting weaker day by day. He used to remind himself everyday.
He had reminded it to everyone else but those who had taken vow to protect Calajhans had never returned.
Housekeeper was the only one left in his circle who was yet to do something to avoid Great Invasion.
He had gone for finding Calajhans' home but changed his route.
Azmra's fate depends upon the path I take. The mercenary thought while heading for Pryeg.
It had been few months he had been hearing about a young sorcerer named Tadeas. Now he was going to see if he was worth his fame or not.
The mercenary was quiet surprised to see how young Tadeas was. Mages without wrinkling cheeks and sorcerers without white beard were things never heard of before.
He went to the inn where Tadeas and his wife were staying since few years. Then the cut-throat told him about his problem. But Tadeas seemed to have a bizarre solution.
A mug.
"Fill it with gold coins till this time tomorrow. " were Tadeas' words.
Alone and broke, it was beyond his ability. Still he accepted the price.
With improbabilities cornering him, he decided to go to Nastria to search for a mage with wrinkling cheek and dangling skin.
May God never bring me to this land again. Cut-throat was cautious till he reached the hut of Metal Mage.
"You are lucky to have met me. And luckier to have survived in Nastira as a killer from Azmra." Metal Mage said.
"Had to kill some Nastrains while coming here." He replied.
"What do you want?" Metal Mage asked.

The killer gave her the mug, explaining everything.
Mage laughed when his words ended, "You came in Nastria- The land of Wernh'An, and under his nose you are trying to avoid something inevietable."
"Just fill it up."
"I can't. I am Metal Mage, not a goldsmith. But I can turn this steel mug into gold mug. But in return, I take no coins but just your identity and name."
"My name is now yours." Cut-throat said.
Metal Mage then turned it into gold and shook his hand, "Remember, this will remain gold till this time tomorrow. From there it will be steel again."
The mercenary went to Tadeas with gold mug but it wasn’t enough to fool him.
Livid Tadeas couldn’t keep his anger within. He loathed cut-throats anyways. And now he had met a cheating one as well.
Just like he did to his threats, he confined the killer inside his crystal ball.
Because he was killer by instincts, he adapted himself in the monsters house. By feeding rats, frogs and cockroaches to monsters, he lived there for years. But ever since cracks had appeared in the house, rodents and pests were becoming hard to find.
Still he was not worrying.
He had got a human to feed monsters after a long time.

The Violet Crown
The story follows the perspective of a logical but chaotic fire mage in a fantasy-medieval world that is entirely hostile to mages. The main character confronts memories of his past as the man who sold the world for power, all while facing similar conflicts in the present while facing off against an oppressive Elven kingdom that spans the continent, led by two identical religious leaders gifted with the ability of foresight.

Disciple.
I was there before Death was born. I was there when the Sea of Chaos formed. I was there when the first universe was born. I was there when life appeared for the first time. I was there at the dawn of time, and will be there for its twilight. Long story short I am old and powerful. I would be called an Eldritch Abomination by many among you. This however is not my story. This is the story of my favourite human, a man who managed to surpass my expectations until the day of his death. A man to whom I personally taught the deepest secrets of Creation. The story of my Disciple, born to a world within the Fayd. A man who was called many names. Godkiller, Guardian of the Gates of Death, My Left Hand, Destroyer, The End by his enemies. That Crazy Dude by his allies. I call him Sam-Sam, mainly to annoy him. But primarily, this is a story of a man doing his life right. With all my wisdom I can’t think of him living a better life than he did, given his circumstances. So gather round, for the story of my dear friend. Not a litrpg.

TLDR - RWBY esque modern xianxia (everything is original to the best of my knowledge, but you can probably see where I drew my inspiration) 20 years ago, monsters manifested from negative emotions emerged and brought the world to its knees. Follow the journey of Ed as he strives to become stronger to avenge his brother who sacraficed himself. Note: First time writer, i have about 16k words written already. I will use the first 10 or so chapters as a guage to see how well I am doing. I am open to all feedback and will continue writing if people like it. I have another 10 or so chapters planned already. I will keep you updated on what I do. Please be nice.

Beyond the Bridge
There are many worlds, many multiverses, and you can move between them via the Federation's Bridge network - magical gateways to other worlds. The world dubbed "C'thon" by its inhabitants - or Gamma-Theta-Nu-649, if you ask the Federation's bureaucracy - was deserted when the Federation found it. The "civilized" races had all died out centuries prior, and the wilderness had grown downright feral in their absence. Now, the lonely Federation outpost of Bridgetown is under constant threat from the hungry wildlife, malicious fey, territorial goblins, and wandering undead that surround it. The town's distance from the Federation's centers of power means that it gets precious few of the resources that it needs to stay safe and afloat. Enter the Guild of Adventurers, a plucky and disparate crew who do the Federation's dirty work in exchange for coin. One team, the first of many, crosses the Bridge to C'thon looking for fame, fortune, and (if they're lucky) the answer to a newly-discovered Prophecy. They'll get much more than they bargained for, although first they need to avoid being eaten by the local wildlife. Updates weekly on Wednesday. Chapters will be as long as they need to be for them to work, which means they can vary. If anything drops below 2500 words, I'll post an extra chapter if I have one ready. [PS: This is not a litRPG, but I do borrow heavily from TTRPGs for inspiration, and the general setting and storyline is from a TTRPG campaign I'm running.] [PPS: This is my first attempt at writing long-form fiction. I'm not trying to make a great piece of literature or have a multi-novel overarching plot, but hopefully it'll still be a fun story - let me know what you think in the comments.] [PPPS: Cover image is from a free-download wallpaper by Tyler Edlin; I do not own it, and will take it down immediately if requested.]
