In the open plaza on the floating island that carried the great academy Eden. Light began to glow, in between six stone pillars that sat in the middle of the plaza. Stepping out of the glowing formation, the proctor followed by his assistants, and all the participants.
Waving his arm, at the majestic structure that is Eden. Mantial said, “Welcome to Eden, one of the best, if not the best academies on the continent.”
Two grey-stone statues, positioned just outside of the teleportation formation; eyes flashing a bright green, stepped forwards, Dust falling from their stone joints.
Meeting the proctor, In a gravelly voice the stone statue on the right, said, “Welcome back, agent of the grey. Who are you bringing with you into Eden?”
His smooth voice floating through the open plaza, Allen said, “These are the new students that past the trial, im taking them to meet the headmaster.’
Its eyes glowed an even brighter green, scanning every individual with its cold glare.
With the same tone as the statue on the right, the statue on the left said, “You all are cleared to enter Eden, you may proceed.”
As the statues returned to their original positions, the proctor led the group of trial participants through the open plaza. Staring around in wonder at the beautiful architure of Eden, whispering .to each other. Walking through corridor after corridor, the group finally made it to a set of giant double doors, made of some form of marble.
Turning to look at the newest additions of Edens student body, Allen said, “Behind this door is the headmaster. Please don’t make a scene, and be respectful.”
Shaking their heads in agreement; as the Giant double doors flashed with a green light, swinging open slowly.
Standing before a raised platform, where the Headmaster sat in a dark-oak, and gold encrusted chair. Standing, his dark blue robes sweeping along the ground.

Smiling, in a raspy tone, the headmaster said, “Welcome to Eden, Do to the unforeseen events that happened in the south slums. I have decided to accept all of you into Eden; while you are the biggest class we have ever accepted, the standards have not changed. With that in mind, if you don’t meet said standards unless under special circumstances, you will be kicked out.”
Looking over the shocked students, with their disheveled clothes, and weary faces.
The headmaster said, “ It’s late, and you all have been through alot, I’ll have Liana take you all to your temporary rooms, we will finish your introduction tomorrow morning.”
As the students were led from the room by Liana, Looking at Allen, the headmaster said, “Allen would you compile all the records of the students. While I call the professors, I've chosen to be mentors here.”
Bowing Allen said, “Of course, headmaster, I already have files on all the students.
Laughing, the headmaster said, “What was I thinking; you’ve been the same ever since you were a child, always so orderly. There is no way you would do something, like being a proctor. Without doing a complete background check on all your charges.”
Face flushing from embarrassment, Allen said, “Headmaster please don’t make fun of me. I just like to do a thorough job.”
The doors leading to the hall where the headmaster, and Allen were talking, swung open. As eight dark robed people slid into the room, in Unison they said, “Headmaster, you called for us?”
The headmaster said, “Yes, Iv’e chosen you all to be mentors for this years new students. Allen has set up a viewing orb with his records on the new students. Look them over decide who you want to mentor, we will be meeting them tomorrow morning.”

Standing around the floating glass orb, that was projecting all the faces of the new students. All the Mentors looked at each of the holograms at least once. Before they started debating who got which students.
Pulling at his long beard, peppered with grey one of the mentors said, “I think I want the Nein..”
Coughing, Interrupting the bearded mentor.
A long blonde haired mentor said, “Haa Shordwen, i think i‘D be a better fit to mentor the Nein.”
Looking affronted, Shordwen said, “What do you mean by that, Griagor?” The other mentors looked like they were about to jump into the pending argument.
Huffing slightly, Griagor said, “It’s quite simple i grew up close to the Nein, and i feel like that makes me better qualified to handle their particular needs.”
Not only did Griagors reply stump the other mentors even Shordwen paused.
Looking sullen Shordwen said, “Fine, but i want the Guardsmen from the midland tribe.”
Stepping forward, silver eyes flashing, one of the only two female mentors said, “I’m okay with you taking the guardsmen but I’m taking the midland princess. I’m also taking the Hayward girl.”
Going back, and forth for a whole hour. The mentors Debated, and argued who was claiming which student or students. Finally all the students were assigned their mentors. When a black orb appeared next to the headmaster, floating in the vibrating, a husky voice said, “Headmaster, i would like to take on one of the students.”
Surprised the headmaster said, “Desmond, I've never known you to take interest in mentoring a student before, what's changed?”
Voice flickering with undisguised irritation, Desmond said, “Someone called in a favor, and I take my favours seriously. But if what I'm told is true, my interest has definitely been pricked.”

No Moon
Vree liked his humans. They were kind, clever, and tended to be adorable, in the way that a small, particularly spiny cub was adorable right before it bit you. Of course, small adorable cubs usually couldn’t shapeshift or burst into flame whenever it suited them. Tusca hired a teenager on a whim, and a doctor because they were old friends. Unfortunately, nothing is ever simple when a Red Baron is at the helm.

Hardcore OP-ness
Most people pray for good health, a loving family, and to win the lottery. I asked “Can you send me to a game-like fantasy-style world? It can't be too unrealistic, but also, it would be nice if I was immortal to some degree. Oh yea, no rape or slavery either, cause then I'll have to spend the whole time trying to create a perfect society, and I'd rather not have to deal with all that nonsense. No other players either, cause that always creates a ton of annoying drama, and I just want to have a fun, relaxing, and enjoyable time.â€Three years later, after I had completely forgotten about all that… well, better late than never I suppose. The moral of this story, is to be careful what you wish for; also, cuteness is justice, so don't complain if adorable bunnies beat you to death and devour your corpse.(Warning: This story includes profanity, numbers, humanity, nudity, uncomfortable realism in a fantasy-world, awkward but mild sexual-content, descriptive violence and gore, nekomimi, necrophilia, bizarre and disturbing sexual-content, offensive language, plus all of the other things that disclaimers usually have to tell you about. Do not read this if you dislike transportation, virtual reality, fantasy, or other similar genres… or me, because I'm the author.)I'm only posting a few chapters on this site, but there are over 100 on my wordpress. https://mike777ac.wordpress.com/hardcore-op-ness/

LITTLE GREEN MEN • Book 1

Dogs that seem more aware than they ought to, sentient plant-life, nomads aimlessly wandering...Rescued by a farming colony called Community, Alex meets Eva Monroe. She is mysterious, but also familiar somehow. When Alex sees strange lights in the fields, he begins asking questions that no one seems willing to answer. Together, Alex and Eva discover a secret. A secret that no one in Community saw coming...or did they? I will also post some of this story on Royal Road.Excerpt: To the right of the road the land rose sharply to a hill. Alex's gut tightened and fluttered as he realized their current location was not a wise one; low ground was a disadvantage in a conflict. Alex had a bad feeling, a hunch that he wasn't the only one searching. His attention was drawn to the top of the hill. Something was up there. They were being watched.
