《Magnum Opus》4.7

Heading towards East hill, this time going with the flow of the crowd. Just as we almost crossed over into east hill, we took a sharp right turn. Going down several side streets, I noticed potion stores on what felt like every corner.
Getting Madison’s and Alfred’s attention. I said, “Mossey was nice, and all, but I’m curious, I’ve seen several potion stores we could have gone to?”
Smiling, Madison said, “Mossey was right in a way when he said Perfect potions serve only unique potions. But that’s not the whole picture, sure if you want a specific potion something that will fit you and your situation to a T, you’d want to go to Perfect potions. That takes a lot of time and money. So when you need good potions, you can count on. It really comes down to trust, You’ll have to find a store that focuses on mass production and Mossey is trustworthy as they come.”
Shaking my head in agreement, I said, “Oh, that makes a lot of sense.” It really does now that I think about it, potions are very finicky. Plus, people lie, what’s stopping an alchemist. From saying they used the best ingredients, when, in fact, they used subpar materials at best. When your in a situation where a weak or wrong potion could mean death, I’d want the best too.
Reaching, a relatively clean section of street. Compared to what we’ve had walked through before. Nestled in between a bookstore and a little cheese shop. Stood Finricks Armour, Its sign a glossy Dark-oak. Heading through the Olive colored front door, the rich-earthy scent of leather and polish wafted into my nose. The tinkle of a bell still slightly ringing as we made our way deeper into the store.
A man wearing glasses came around the corner of a large shelf, filled with jackets. His smile deepening the wrinkles around his almost jet-black eyes. He said, “Welcome to Finrick’s Armour, how can I help you.”

Returning his smile and stepping forward, Madison said, “Hi, we’re looking for enchanted armor. I’ve heard Finrick’s Armour had the best.”
I’m surprised; honestly, I was starting to think Madison knew everybody in the Free city. I swear, the minute he heard enchanted armor, his eye sparked to life.
His eye still twinkling, the older man said, “Hmm, I’m guessing, you’re participating in Edens admissions test? Your name wouldn’t happen to be Madison, would it?”
Well, I guess if Madison doesn’t know someone, there is a good chance that person knows her. Looking surprised, Madson said, “Yes, we are participating in Eden’s test, but how do you know me? I’m pretty sure I haven’t met you before.”
Instead of answering Madison’s question, looking towards Alfred and Me, looking us up and down. He said. “Hmm, you must be Alfred and kyle than.”
Turning back towards Madison, He said, “As for how I know you, I don’t. But to my surprise, late last night, I got tens of orders, placed by a variety of people. They all left descriptions, so I knew who to look for. When they came to pick up their orders. Two of those orders were from your parents.”
Pointing at Alfred, He said, “While another order was placed by his Father.
“Anyway, best not waste time. I can tell just by looking at you lot, that your parents gave me the correct measurements.” He said, clapping, causing three sets of clothes to fly from behind the counter to the left of the shop.
As each one of the flying outfits flew towards us, landing in our arms. Pointing behind the shelf filled with jackets, he had come from behind. He said, “There are changing rooms that way, don’t worry about paying your parents already covered your bill.”

Following behind Madison, and Alfred as we made our way down the hallway, the old man directed us towards. Coming out of the hall, into a big circular room with seven doors positioned in between giant mirrors. Picking three of the doors closest to us, we separated to get changed. Taking a second, to really look at the outfit that had been in my arms. As I separated the different pieces from one another.
At first glance, the leather material the armor was made from, looked thin. But it was actually very thick, with some sort of gold thread woven through it. Slipping on the white undershirt, that was made from a material I couldn’t place.
Pulling up the thick leather pants, buttoning them up. Struggling, with the armor piece that’s obviously supposed to go over the undershirt. It’s straps and snaps crisscrossing, in a complex mesh pattern.
Coming out of the changing rooms, I saw Madison and Alfred already fully dressed in their armor’s. Our armors almost looked identical, except Alfred had metal sitting on his chest, shoulders, and hips. While Madison’s armor had a deep blue tint to it. With the clopp of heavy-soled boots, accompanying us as we walked back through the hallway.
Just as we came back into the central part of the store. The old-man standing behind the counter said, “Ahh, a perfect fit, but that’s what you can expect from Finrick’s amour.”
Eyeing the clothes on our bodies, releasing a sigh. The old-man said, “Quad-formed leather, with leyline enchantments, and our personal brand of curing solution. Even if they’re not my best work. They are things of beauty if I say so myself.
