《Nirvana》Loot and Player Kills

They received a few system notifications before the celebrations began.
[You have slain the Red Boar]
[You have gained 300 experience]
[You have cleared the Boar's Cave and have gained 250 fame]
He didn't receive a book. He asked his party members about the amount of fame they got. They each got 100 fame.
Since he was the one who discovered the cave he would receive the most fame.
The first thing that Emile picked up from the pile of loot was the coins. They got a total of 4 silver and 194 copper coins.
There weren't enough silver coins to give to everyone in the party. So they decided by checking out the contribution rankings.
The contribution ranking would give a percentage of how much the player has helped out during the fight. Emile was in first with 55%.
He got 25% of the percentage by getting the last hit of the fight. The other 30% was from tanking and dealing damage.
Second place was Flowing Dream who had 15%. He was the tank for a lot of the fight.
Third place was Flower Queen with 13% who did the highest amount of damage excluding Emile.
Fourth place was Handsomest Crab with 11%. He was average.
Fifth place was Time Walker who had 6%. It made sense for him to be in last place since he was spellcaster which made his physical attacks very weak.
All of them received a silver coin except Time Walker who received 194 copper coins.
Then they checked out the loot. Emile picked up a chest plate that was lying on the floor. He identified it and shared the stats of it with his party.
Uncommon Chestplate of The Boar:
A mighty chestplate made from Boarhide.
Level Requirement: 5
Vitality +14
Strenght +8
Atk: 12-18
Skill:
Charge
Usage: The user can activate this skill to increase attack strength by 40% for the next attack.
Cooldown: 10 minutes
Flowing Dream and Emile were the only players that wanted the chestplate.
They rolled a die for the item. Emile managed to get a 76. Flowing Dream got the item with an 86.
Flowing Dream wasn't able to equip the item because he was not yet level 5.
Emile picked up another item that was on the ground.
The item was a pair of swords.
Uncommon Dual-Wielded Swords:
A pair of swords that work well together.*
Level Requirement: 5
Strength +9
Atk: 14-19
Skill:
Dual Slash
The next attack will deal double damage.
*Note: The swords; when separated are both Common ranked.
The stats were considerably lower than the sword that Emile had in his inventory. The skill allowed the swords to be onsidered good. The skill was excellent at dishing out burst damage.

With a bit of luck and precision, Emile could deal out 8x his attack value. (1)
Flower Queen and Handsomest Crab wanted the item. Emile didn't need the sword because of two reasons. The first reason was that he had a sword which he prefers over this sword. The second reason, the more important reason, was that he didn't know how to dual-wield.
Dual-wielding required good hand-coordination and, most importantly, control.
Emile didn't have good hand-coordination, instead, his control of the sword was top-notch.
Flower Queen rolled the die and received a 38. It was a very low roll since it was below average.
Handsomest Crab rolled a 14. He felt dejected about his bad luck.
Flower Queen successfully got the item and placed it in her inventory.
Emile picked up the last item and identified it.
Ancient Mages Legacy
A legacy from a Powerful Mage that lived during the Ancient times.
Usage:
Allows the user to become the hidden class: {Ancient Mage}
Requirements:
30 Spirit
25 Intelligence
15 Strength
"I want it," Time Walker yelled out excitedly.
"None of you want to be a Mage, so give it to me, please," If they rejected his offer he might even resort begging.
Emile didn't need this since he was planning to be a swordsman. Flower Queen was also using swords. Handsomest Crab would use heavy weapons to deal high amounts of damage. Flowing Dream would use a sword and shield to defend and attack the enemy.
They all allowed Time Walker to gain the legacy. He would become very powerful in the future due to this legacy.
Emile didn't gain any loot from the boss. He used some bandages to heal his health up to full.
Emile asked them to walk around the cave to see if they missed anything. They found a place where the Boar slept.
They searched the Boar's sleeping place and found a chest. Handsomest Crab ran up to the chest and tried to open it.
"The chest requires lockpicking," he said after attempting to open several times.
"Looks like we have to leave the chest for now," Emile paused and thought about something.
"I'll ask the Village Chief if he has a method to open the chest. That's the only thing I can think of," He continued.
"Let's leave the cave for now," Flower Queen said as she started to walk towards the entrance.
As they approached the entrance they started to hear people talking.
"This is the cave, that I found," said River Bull.
River Bull was speaking to his fellow guildmates who were part of the guild known as Frosted Light.

Emile and his party walked out of the cave and saw some players standing in front of the cave.
"You think they'll let us go," asked Time Walker with uncertainty.
"Hey he's the guy that managed to enter the Village Chief's home, he might have good items," said River Bull to his guildmates as he pointed to Mystical Flame.
"Yeah, I remember him," said Water Spinach. She was one of the players who was with River Bull hoping to enter the Chief's home.
"Let's kill them, and see if we get any loot," said River Bull.
"He should have decent loot," he continued.
They had 7 players with them.
"Prepare for battle," Emile quickly said as he pulled out a sword from his inventory.
River Bull ran up to Emile and slashed at him.
Emile ducked around the sword and slashed out against River Bull.
-44
At this moment two of River Bull's guildmates charged at him from his left and right.
Emile used Void-Steps and dodged the attacks. His speed became much faster than them.
They couldn't track his movement so they went into a defensive position.
He quickly arrived behind Rivel Bull who was trying to analyze his movement path. River Bull didn't notice anything about where he went.
Emile quickly stabbed Rivel Bull in the back of the neck.
-172 Hidden strike + Critical Hit (2)
River Bull died. He dropped a piece of equipment which Emile picked up.
As this fight was going on. Flower Queen and the others were each dealing with one person. Flower Queen outmaneuvered her opponent which dealt some damage. Afterward, she used a skill which did burst damage.
She managed to kill her opponent quickly. She ran towards Time Walker since he needed the most help due to his low stats. She started to fight with another player.
Time Walker felt useless since he couldn't contribute much to the fight. Handsomest Crab was doing decent since he had high values of Hp and attack.
At this moment, one of the players who attacked Emile with River Bull charged at Flowing Dream who was dealing with an assassin. The assassin didn't have stealth yet since they needed to get the class first. They had high agility instead.
They started to clash with their swords. Flowing Dream had to focus on fighting with 2 players at the same time. He couldn't handle this so he yelled out to Emile.
"Need some help here."
Emile ran towards Flowing Dream. Before he managed to make it to him, the other player who attacked him with River Bull blocked his path.
"You're not getting past me," He said.
The other player started to attack Emile. Emile quickly raised his sword to block the first attack. He moved to the left of the person dodging the person's next attack.
He did a horizontal slash aimed at the person's waist. The person couldn't dodge since they were in the position of attacking.
-43
Emile attacked one more time. The person was affected by the pain of getting hit so they stood there with a grimaced face.
-42
-86 Critical Hit
Another slash finished him off.
Emile's Void-Steps ran out.
The person died dropping some coins a piece of equipment which Emile ignored. He ran to Flowing Dream and attacked one of the players who was attacking him.
Flowing Dream was defending against the strikes so he didn't deal out much damage.
"Thanks," he said.
Emile quickly took care of the person and finished him off. Flower Queen and Time Walker finished off Water Spinach.
Emile and Flowing Dream took care of the assassin. The only person left was the player who Handsomest Crab had to deal with. The player noticed that everyone in his party died.
"Don't kill me, I'm part of the guild Frosted Light," He quickly said as he started to run away.
Sadly his Agility was lower than Emile's which allowed Emile to catch up to him.
Emile didn't take the threat seriously. Emile didn't know much about guilds which lead to this bold decision. He finished off the guy.
"Hey, have you guys heard of the guild called Frosted Light," Emile quickly asked his party as he started to walk towards them.
"They're a small guild with a few thousand players," Flower Queen replied.
"What?!?! You call that small," Emile quickly freaked out about the numbers and about how she described them.
"Well, there are much bigger guilds out there, like Dark Knight who has about 200,000 guild members." She said.
"Aren't you worried they'll hunt you down," She asked him with a calm tone.
"Why should I care, I can just kill all of them," He said arrogantly.
"What if they send out 1000 members to come after you," she asked.
"I'll just log out," he replied innocently.
"I picked up all the loot they dropped," said Handsomest Crab, "I'll identify them for you guys."

Thaellis A Kingdom Down Under
A kingdom down under, once it had prospered, expanded, built, and conquered until all that they thought of worth was theirs. Peace ruled for a time the people absorbed in their own self-satisfaction. But eventually, old urges returned. Conquest called, though this time there was no outside outlet to turn it towards. So in ages so long and distant the memories most couldn’t recall, the kingdom turned upon itself. War raged for many years, no one coming close to being considered a victor, it appeared that this self-destruction would go on till nothing was left. Many if given the chance would have claimed that would have been a mercy for this kingdom and its people. For as they killed, and butchered each other over things they already had. Vibrations traveled through rock and stone guiding things best left alone. Creatures came things of horror armed to the teeth with claws, fangs, and armor. Cities fell and were consumed not even the bones of individuals remained, for these creatures hunger knew no limits, had no end. The kingdom rallied together once more, what was left, they fought and fought but their Nightmare had no end. Their greatest, brightest minds worked their magic, carved into stone. Wards they called them, this would keep their Nightmares away. They abandoned attempts to fight and focused on walling every surface of the kingdom with these Wards. It worked mostly, an illusion of peace returned, one that crumbled often, but it was better than before, it was a bearable hell now. So here we start our story as ages have passed for a walled-off kingdom, hunted by a never-ending Nightmare. With a poor but deserving soul born into this world.

A World With or Without Aliens
Nothing matters. It's not my opinion, it's a scientific fact. This is neither good nor bad, it just... is. I watched my entire country burn, fried on a patriotic pan after some jerk fired a bunch of nukes at the docile fleet of alien ships hovering over us. Who gave this moron such power? I don't know. Everyone involved is most likely dead by now. As for me, I can't die. I feel pain like a normal person would (I think), but no matter how terrible the conditions, I will never die or pass out. Fortunately, a lot of alien technology survived its crash to Earth, so I get to spend some time playing with it until Mr. Author gets bored and decides to screw up my life. Beware, this has a "harem" tag. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the main character and am therefore subject to this novel's timeline. While this bars me from the sweet ignorance of Chapter 1's me, it does have other perks... for example, I can tell you that heroine number one is personally responsible for kil-!? H-hey, back off! I'm your character, so if you didn't want me to be like this, then you should've written me differently! Randomguy here! In all seriousness, this novel is meant to explore the concept of nihilism as a post-apocalyptic/supernatural-scifi/satire told from a nihilistic introvert's first-person perspective. As you heard from my unsettled main character, each heroine is going to be a different type of horrifying socio/psychopath with dark motives and dangerous abilities (most of which are psychological). Why would I do something like this? Because I am, in reality, a nihilist who is often frustrated by weird things, like unrealistically dramatic stories, the industrialization of art (specifically music), and people who think swimming in brown creekwater for five hours is a "fun" activity. Don't get me wrong, neither me nor my character are depressed, we're just malcontents who make a lot of nerd references. I feel like the true essence of an "everything is worthless" perspective is lost on most pop-culture figures. The closest character I can think of at the moment is Rick from Rick and Morty, who is a drunk, angry nihilist that experienced tremendous loss. I, personally, find this belligerent state of mind to be very relatable, and have incorperated it into every chapter's introduction. Here, the main character talks directly to the reader (and me), shamelessly complaining about some semi-relevant facet of society, which probably doesn't make much sense... it's not really supposed to, though. These "angry nihilist" moments are just a peak into the main character's everyday existence, and also act as miniature rage-journals for me. It will sometimes take a subjectively 'positive' turn, but not very often. This is because reality isn't good or bad, "it just... is". I will eventually bring it full-circle to optimistic nihilism, since that seems to be a more practical way to live (and by "practical", I mean "doesn't create mental health issues"). It is, of course, a satire. I did this because most unnecessarily emotional moments or people usually make me feel kind of awkward, so I decided to mock them. That is, I plan to mock the characteristics about them I don't like in characters based solely off said characteristics. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my story!
