《Nirvana》Quest Complete

Emile didn't know why Flowing Dream would want to message him.
"Hey, I found a cave by following a mouse," He typed.
Emile felt surprised since he expected Billy or Steve to report these things. Mahmud was usually quiet which made him think that this scenario was strange.
Even though he had these thoughts, he didn't mention it to Flowing Dream. Emile typed something in the group chat.
"Where are you?"
Flowing Dream responded by saying "I'll send you coordinates to my location."
At this moment Handsomest Crab said, "F***, I wasn't the first to find a cave." He felt depressed. Time Walker wasn't online at the moment.
"I'm coming as well," Handsomest Crab quickly typed shamelessly.
Emile closed the chat.
"My friend found a cave, he sent me the coordinates, so we should start moving," He said while moving.
"Wait, I have to log out, I didn't sleep last night so... I want to gain some sleep and lay later tonight," She said with embarrassment.
She hasn't slept for 30 hours causing her to feel tired. She waited until mid-day to sleep because she didn't want to waste Emile's time.
Emile understood her plight.
"Have a good sleep, see you later," he said before seeing her disappear.
After she logged out, he continued to walk towards the coordinates.
He started to notice a trend among the trees. The color of the leaves would determine what type of mob existed in that location.
It was a unique detail which he only recently noticed.
[Familiarity with Song Forest has increased]
[10% increase in Vitality and 5% increase in Strength while in Song Forest]
[Note: Telling people about the unique details of a location will destroy the opportunity for them to gain the buff, this will include forums]
Emile felt shocked since he didn't expect for this to occur. He didn't read about this in the forums. He felt his strength increase after figuring this out.

The last line of the system notifications warned him not to tell the layers about any unique details. This meant that he couldn't mention how different colored leaves corresponded to different mobs.
Emile continued to walk towards the destination and made sure to look at his surroundings more carefully. He didn't get any more system notifications about improving his familiarity with the forest.
In the distance, he saw Handsomest Crab and Flowing Dream.
"How are you going to compensate our leveling time," Handsomest Crab asked with a look of annoyance.
"Uhh... You di-" Emile was cut off.
"I'm kidding, this is what brothers do for each other, I don't need you to compensate me for anything." He quickly said in a joking manner.
Flowing Dream started to speak. Mahmud was very serious about any task that he received.
"The cave is behind that bush," he said stoically.
"I didn't enter the cave yet," said Flowing Dream.
Emile entered the cave by crawling through it and received a few notifications,
[You have discovered a new location]
[You have found the Mice's Cavern]
[You have gained 100 fame]
[You will have the opportunity to earn fame if you clear the location]
[You have completed Unique Quest Seeking a Cave]
[You will receive your rewards from the Village Chief]
It was completely dark so he couldn't clear it. He couldn't see what was occurring so he backed out wisely.
He crawled outside and saw them waiting for him. He started to speak to them.
"My quest is complete, do you guys want to come with me and see what I got," he quickly asked.
"Were you thinking of abandoning us," Handsomest Crab replied jokingly.
"Of course we're going, right Flowing Dream," he asked Flowing Dream for his approval.
"Yeah," he responded,
Emile started to walk towards the Village. Emile decided to tell them about gaining familiarity with a location.

"By the way, If you ever understand how an area works, you can gain some buffs."
He tried to word his sentence without revealing any discoveries he made.
"What does that mean," Asked Handsomest Crab.
"Basically, if you ever realize anything unique about a place and what effects those unique places have, you gain a buff," he explained.
He didn't know how to word it correctly.
"What he's trying to say is to look for abnormalities in a location," Flowing Dream said.
"Yeah, what he said," Mystical Flame replied.
After the conversation ended, they continued to walk while talking about miscellaneous things like what they have done so far in the game.
They arrived at the village and Emile decided to go to the Tailor to pick up his pair of gloves.
The Tailor greeted him enthusiastically which surprised some of the players. The Tailor now took orders from anyone that brought in hides. Chicken feathers were still denied.
He received his gloves which turned out to be Common ranked.
He examined his gloves.
Common Might Gloves:
A strong pair of gloves made from Boarhide.
Level Requirement: 2
Strength +3
He had to equip this pair of gloves since he didn't have any other pair. He equipped it.
He went to the market to go buy a sword since he now had the money to buy one. He found a common sword which sold for 10 copper coins.
The stats were.
Dull Sword:
A sword that can be mass-produced.
Level Requirement: 0
Strength +4
He decided to check his stats out.

He had gained a new stat called fame. He didn't know what that stat did or what repercussions it had.
He finally decided to go visit the Village Chief and get his rewards.
He walked up to his door, with Flowing Dream and Handsomest Crab following shortly behind. He knocked on his door.
There were fewer people surrounding the Chief's home since no one wanted to waste their time. The players who waited were desperate for a miracle to occur. They hoped for the Chief to randomly let them in and give them freebies.
This would never occur but he didn't want to be the person to tell them this.
The Chief opened the door and allowed them to enter his home. The players surrounding his door felt an invisible punch to their gut. They walked up to his door and asked to enter. The Village Chief yelled at them.
Emile felt sympathetic but didn't stop this since he didn't know who they were. After Emile entered he told the Chief about all five of the caves he found.
The Chief gave him the reward that he earned.
[You have gained Uncommon Helmet of the Overseer, 250 experience points, and Skill Book: Night Vision]
Emile had filled up 35% of his experience bar.
The Chief started talking once again.
"Since you managed to find the caves, how about you go clear them?" He asked.
A system notification appeared.
[Unique Quest: Clearing the Caves]
[Objective: Clear the 5 caves]
[Difficulty: A]
[Comment: If you can clear one you can clear five]
[Progress: 1/5]
[Can be shared with at most 4 different players]
[Reward: 2500 experience, Rare Chestplate of the Fallen, Skill Book: Fire Ball]
The rewards were as abundant as always. The quest would be challenging. The only good thing was that he could share the quest with his friends.
He decided to examine the Uncommon helmet of the Overseer.

Kyle signed the contract because he wanted to join an exciting pre-release eSports tournament. But now, he’s stuck in an immersive virtual reality world, fighting against hundreds of other players in a competition that might take years to complete. At least, it would take years unless the players unite to tackle the game together... A rules-light VRMMO fiction. The mechanics have a strong survivalcraft influence. The protagonist is far less powerful than in most VRMMO stories, and must exhibit heroism despite weakness. Its themes include the social dynamics of a VR world, a game world's effect on identity, and the influence one person can have on the culture around them.Releases every other M/W/F. Written without prior knowledge of the RPG-Lit genre; I was surpised to find out it was even a thing.

Iferes: Slaves Of The Gods
Iferes are creatures that roam the world. They are everywhere, and anywhere. From the deepest seas, to the highest mountains. From the heart of volcanos, to the never melting glaciers. Some are weak, some are strong. Some are calm, some are bloodthirsty. What they all have in common, is that they fight for survival. For hundreds of thousands of eras, humans and Iferes lived in a world of war and blood. Ifere against Ifere, Ifere against humans, and humans against humans. But one day, in a very distant past, the twelve Mystic Iferes, and the twelve greatest kings of humanity, joined hands to end that cruel era. Together, they created a contract. A contract that, once made, would bound the two parties, and could only be broken in death. Millions of years went by, and that period of war faded in legends. And a child was born, a child that would change everything. For bad or worse, only time would say. ----------------------------- Hello, everyone! Just a few warnings before you read the novel, so you won't be disappointed. First of all, as you can probably tell, I took more than a few ideas from pokemon and the like. It's almost impossible to write a novel where creatures (Iferes) have a major part in, and not relate it to pokemon. However, as you will see as the novel goes on, I tried (and I think I succeeded) in making a universe of my own. I am sure you will like it. Secondly, compared to pokemon, my novel is a lot darker, as you probably noticed by the synopsis. I also try to give a wild west vibe to it, if you know what I mean. Thirdly, you should check out my fanfic Broke: A Clone Wars Tale. Biased as I am towards it, I think it's a great story, and so do many of my readers. It will also give you a glance at what writing style to expect. Fourth and last, I feel like it's only fair that I tell you I am a student. As much as I love writing, my main priority will always be my studies. After all, writing is just a hobby for me, at least for now (fingers crossed). As such, there probably will be interruptions in the release schedule here and there, but, if you followed me on my other novel, you will know I rarely missed an upload, and, when I did, I always made up for it. So, with all that said, I hope you can give the novel a try, and leave a review. If you are a new reader, I hope we can have a lot of fun along the way. If you read Broke, then we already made a journey together, and I hope you will follow me on a new one. Also, you should check out my patreon, there you can get chapters in advance (although they will all be published normally after a while), and a few other benefits. I appreciate every bit of support you can give me! patreon.com/reis123 PS: there will be romance, but no harem or reincarnation. The MC is just someone who was born and raised on this world.

Teddy Bear
As it would stand, the truth of the matter was that aliens had visited Earth before. Roswell was neither a hoax nor unique. It was simply a consequence of a world growing smaller as communication systems became more and more advanced, partly a result of said visitations. For the most part, past interactions between one of the planet Earth's more intelligent species of lifeform and the alien visitors were along the lines of obscure scientific surveys and tests disturbingly similar to attempts by some human scientists to estimate the intelligence of simians. For any species capable of travelling the stars. Visiting planet Earth made about as much sense as backpacking through the Ural Mountains of Siberia with nothing but a flint and a compass. That is to say, most people would prefer to stay close to someplace within walking distance of a mall or a population density slightly higher than four sapient beings per parsec. Still, statistically speaking, there are bound to be some weirdos who find joy rides though a nowhere solar system fun. Just buzzing a frantic farmer or two and playing chicken with an F-16 for the heck of it. Maybe even bring home a bovine to show off to the guys at the office.

For a Change - A Slice of Life LitRPG
Change is constant. Starting over without your own memories? Connected to some System AI? Probably a pretty big change. Join Monday March as she attempts to deal with these changes and many others in a fantasy future with magic, monsters, AIs, and dating. Notes / Expectations: - About the writing style - Almost always First Person past tense (aside from the prologue), Chapters are short by design. Also, I'm not rushing to the conclusion, it's there, I'm in no hurry. - Genres - Fantasy is the most obvious umbrella, Action, Comedy, Romance, Psychological and everything else that makes a character into a comprehensive person will likely crop up, but won't be the main focus, at least not for hundreds of pages - Tags - Dungeon, Gender Bender (closer to gender themes), Post Apocalyptic and a few others might be a valid fit, but anything that doesn't fit most chapters will be set aside tag wise for now. Possible updates in the future if needed. - Content Warnings - While I want to write this story as accessible and friendly, sometimes a narrative gets messy, and sometimes people are naked, or get hurt either physically or mentally. Best to be prepared. As for cussing, well, our main character will avoid it. - Initial posting schedule is once a week, updates to the schedule will be posted here or in chapter notes.

Second Wind, legend of Pandemonium (Finished/Incomplete)
The developers of the worlds leading VRMMORPG Edge Online have decided to shut down its servers after over a decade. Shugireth Darkstar, the leader of Pandemonium, Edge Online's top guild, suffers from a deadly disease and his end is near. He hasn't left his VR pod for 5 years, as the medical nanodroids at the hospital takes care of him. Without Edge, he will die, because his physical body has already been all but destroyed by the sickness. Seeing no light at the end of the tunnel, Shugireth Darkstar, the Master of Pandemonium, stubbornly stays behind as the servers shut down... If that was all, we could end this story right here. However, that was only the beginning of the legend of pandemonium. The prelude to the movement, if you will. Shall we see what happens next? -------------- Some notes from Me (The author, gasp surprise): I first wrote this (100k) as an experiment. I saw the advice about having foils for overpowered MCs, and I watched quite a few lectures on writing. I wanted to test things out for myself and see if I could carry a story through other ways than only relying on physical conflict like some thrillers do. Thus this might lean a bit towards slice of life with a romance subplot, but I don't want to give my story away so read it if u want to know more. This was basically never intended for anyone else's eyes but my own, and written to explore writing as a process. This wasn't my attempt at writing a good book, but it turned into something that I think might interest some people, so I decided to pop it up here. It is slightly old so my style and writing skills have advanced considerably since I first started this thing. Having said that, I think it's pretty readable, but I am very interested in how other people will receive this. Please feel free to criticize it and just in general shoot me some feedback on what you think. It contains light Litrpg elements, not heavy table spam, it's just the basis of the world. Although I like that sort of thing, this was written before I even knew of Royalroad and hadn't considered litrpg much. Some of you may recognize that it was slightly inspired by Overlord. Also, the Tags for sexual content and traumatizing content are there as a precaution on all of my stories pretty much, even if my story does not contain any of that at the moment. I can't really know what the future will bring, but in the case of this story I do know a little bit, since I wrote 100k words before posting it here. And I just posted it on a whim because I figured some readers on Royalroad might enjoy this story.
