《Abnormal》Chapter 47 Past 3

"Selvi? Do you think...we would be friends forever?" I asked nervously, my hands wrapped around my knees, hiding my face behind it.
"Depends." She said, Selvi is pretty smart for a primary school girl, she thinks before talking, unlike some of the others students, who would blabber nonstop.
"Then do you think....we would still be friends, if I suddenly disappear and come back again?" I asked again.
"Yeah... I think so, but if something happens before that, I can't be sure." Selvi replied.
We silenced, what should I say?
Is asking these questions too sensitive?
I'm acting so childish !
It was a fool of me to start of with these foolish questions!
"Then let me ask you a question." She said.
My head perked up and looked at her eagerly.
"If I disappeared all of a sudden, and never came back, will you go back to your normal state again?" Selvi asked seriously.
"Normal state?"
She sighed, "The state where you would lock yourself at home and avoid social interactions."
Yep, pretty funny how she's a primary student.
And I'm not talking about primary 5 or 6.
I'm talking about the lower primary kind.
"Oh, that." I said, " Maybe, for a month or two."
"You, to me is not just my best friend! You to me is also a sister! " I said, getting a little emotional.
"Oh dear dear, don't be so dramatic! I'm just asking a question!" She laughed, slapping my back.
"But it's true." I said.
"Right, you never told me why." She asked.
"Why what? What why?"
"Why were you in that 'lock yourself in the room and no friends state'?" She said, looking at me, expecting an answer, a reasonable one.
Even if she's my best friend, I'd rather not tell her about my pathetic past, it may lead to broken friendship or even worse.
All he knows about my past is that my parents died, and I got dumped by my friend, I didn't use the word betrayed as it will only lead to more questions.

Now that she asked me this.
What am I suppose to say?
"It...well." I struggled, struggling to find the words.
"It's fine if you don't want to tell me, I understand if there are sercrets you want to keep for yourself." She smiled.
I gave out a sigh of relief.
Phew, secret's still safe.
"Well then....do you wanna go to the playground? Recess is not over yet." I suggested.
Selvi stood up and brushed the dust off her skirt.
"Sure." She said.
I beamed, grabbed her hand and pulled her to the playground.
But when we reached there, the swing, the seesaw, the monkey bars, are all occupied.
There was a line of kids, queuing up for the slide.
Selvi rushed towards the line, I hopped towards it and stopped at the back.
"Being late have consequences." I sighed.
That's true, whenever we were late, we would 'suffer' the consequences, of not being able to have fun.
In these type of situations, I would choose to have fun with the slide as it will be too crowded join others.
Almost EVERYTIME! When it was close to being our turn to use the slide, break ends and the teachers will drag us back to 'hell' ( school )
Selvi and me waited, waited, and kept waiting.
We only have 6 minutes until break ends.
Students will keep cutting in the line, saying that their friend saved spots for them.
This is seriously getting annoying, really, annoying.
"WILL YOU PEOPLE STOP CUTTING IN THE LINE?!?! " I yelled without thinking, impatience, rage and anger drove me MAD.
Everyone here knows that standing against the rules of 'The Tsunami' is deadly....not to me but to them.
Selvi pulled me towards her, "What are you thinking?! " She whispered.
"Uh, well, fighting back?" I said.
All eyes were on me, my legs felt soft.
I don't like this kind of attention, at all.
I took a deep breathe.
I'm fine, no one will hop out and pull me in a van, I'm safe here! There's no reason panic....

"Who do you think you are?" A voice boomed.
I snapped out of my thoughts and looked straight at the owner of the voice.
"I am someone who doesn't like unfair rules." I said with my arms crossed.
"I am the one who made the rules you little idiot." The boy responded.
In our school, there were rumours about the leader of 'The Tsunami' spreading all around.
That he is strong, he is fierce, he is heartless and cruel, he is handsome, he has abs even though he's a primary 5 kiddo.
But what I'm seeing here, is a chubby boy with crumbs all over his shirt, piling up in those little curves his huge belly made, there were chocolate smudged all over his left side of his face.
He clearly didn't wash his face this morning, there were still dry drool stains on his cheeks.
His bright orange hair messy and dirty.
Just the sight of him makes me want to puke.
He's basically Dudley in Harry Potter but WORSE.
I took a deep breathe, but stopped at the scent of sweat.
"You look absolutely disgusting." I said shamelessly after that.
Selvi flinched at my words, not all kids have the guts to say this in front of Charlie the big dirty rat.
The rumours were lies, what did I expect? A handsome young man, oh pa-leez.
"What did you call me ?" He growled.
He pulled out a bag of chips from no where and ripped it open recklessly, resulting some of the pieces to fall out.
"I can't believe the leader of this playground is nothing but a fat and dirty rat." I said.
"You already broke 3 rules ! " He yelled, eating the chips faster than normal.
"Rule number 3, 5 and 6 ! Rule number 3 ! No Retorting! Rule number 5 ! No fighting back, it is clear that the students from our school, WSL primary school, can save slots for friends and cut queues in front of students from another school ! Rule number 6 ! You cannot call me bad names! " He yelled.
"But you being a dirty fat rat is not a lie." I said.
"I am not a rat! I am the leader of t----"
"Then let's make an upgrade, a dirty fat rat, into a stupid fat pig, happy? " I cut in, the words coming out of my mouth without fear or hesitation.
"You broke another rule! Rule number 9 ! No cutting in m------"
"Blah blah blah blah." I said with my eyes closed, showing that I am not interested in his words.
The more rage he had, the faster he eats, now, he's chomping onto handfuls and handfuls of chips, one pack after another, totally ignoring the mountain of chips on his shoes.
"HOW DARE YOU-----"
"Be so awesome." I smirked.
This is how I learnt a new trick to annoy and anger people, and it works, all the time.
"RULE NUMBER 9-----"
"Is changed by the best of the best, the most awesome of all awesomes, lord Millie." I said, with my right hand raised high up in the sky dramatically.
"YOU......YOU------"
"Are awesome."
"STOP IT STOP BEING-------"
"So unbelievably awesome."
"UGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!" He yelled, but it didn't stop me from being what I am....Annoying.
"THIS GAL'S AWESOMENESS IS BREATHTAKING! IT'S LEAVING ME SPEECHLESS! HER WORDS SO GENTLE! BUT YET SO MIGHTY! THIS......" I stopped and looked at the chubby fat turkey, "What, jealous of my skills?"
His face was bright red, in fact his whole body is red, this.....looks so much like a tomato.
"Can't stand my awesomeness already?" I snorked, "You get annoyed so easily, it's funny how you're leader of a bunch of kids when you can't ever stand one that's 2 years younger than you." I laughed, provoking him ever further.
"You're pathetic." I chuckled.

Code Reader Kagami (LitRPG)
Sometimes things happen in this world that we are not in control of. Sometimes we are to a certain degree, and sometimes we are completely in control. However, this is a tale that constantly questions those boundaries. The story follows Kagami, a young programmer, as he winds up in a world almost alien to him. If it were up to him, he would have never visited this world and would rather stay raising his young daughter. Was it through his own actions that he had wound up here? Was it due to several combinations of factors? Or was it something he completely chose. These are questions that constantly haunt Kagami’s mind as he wanders this world and ponders his actions. Unfortunately, the glaring truth of it all refuses to ever look him in the eyes. Each night as he looks up at the night sky, he wonders if the end of this would turn out like the game he made. A tale of Guts and Glory… or would it turn out like he fears, a tale of blood and tears. Regardless of how it turns out, he will one day unveil the truth enshrouding it all. And perhaps in doing so, unveil the fate of his old world, enshrouded by mystery. ___________________________________________________________________________ While this is a typical Isekai started by the infamous truck-kun, the story is most definitely not what is to be taken at face value. I love making tragic twists into these types of stories. For Code Reader Kagami, you'll begin to see a descent into psychological madness. As your hero changes entirely from the moral man he initially was. If you're not a fan of dark aspect stories, this one is not for you. Thank you~
