" Vina! " I yelled, racing towards the girl in white.
"Millie? You're here." She smiled.
"Yeah! Where's Julie?" I asked.
"Julie? She's attending a family meeting." Vina said, I walked towards the nearest tree and hung myself upside down on the branch.
"Can you do this too?" I swung myself around.
Vina looked up at me, "Yes, I could, but I'm wearing a dress, and, I thought your mother told you not to do that."
"Oh." I frowned, "Right.."
"Becareful up there you could f----"
But too late, one of my legs loosened, causing me to be hanging with one leg.
"Woooh!!" I yelled, my arms waving around.
Just when I thought I was safe, my other leg felt numb and I fell.
"WOOAHHHH!!!" I screamed.
Thud*
"OOF! "
Vina walked towards me, "I told you not to do that."
"Hehehe....." I laughed, my white shirt was covered in dirt.
*************
"Where have you been? You should've been back a long time ago."
"Sorry mom."
She gazed at me with her kind blue eyes, "Oh dear, have you being playing on the tree again?"
I silenced.
"I'll take that as a yes, what have I told you! Don't play on the tree!" She said, patting my head.
"But Mrs. Yu will take care of my cuts! " I said, my cheeks all puffy.
Mrs. Yu is the kind lady who helps me with my injuries, she said she's a nurse, but I don't know what that means.
"I know, but you have to take care of your body too, you don't want to overwork her, do you?" Mom asked.
"Over...work?" I said.
"Overwork means to cause someone to work too much." She said before turning away.
Her black hair resting on her shoulders, she opened the cabinet on top of the fridge and took out a familiar red container.

"No mom! Not that! " I yelled, making a cross with my arms.
"You know it's for your own good darling."
"It's not good! It tastes like dirt! " I yelled.
"What's the fuss over here? "
That's my dad, he walked down the stairs, his heavy footsteps thundering across the room.
"I told you not to walk like that." My mom said, glaring at dad.
"Yeah dad, you're gonna break the stairs with that big foot of yours! " I laughed.
"It's manly." He said, his nose high up in the sir.
"It's childish." My mom replied, pouring the red liquid onto a teaspoon.
They started chatting, I stepped back quietly as they did.
I am not drinking that thing, not today.
I turned, quietly, I tiptoed outside.
"Millie! "
Shoot.
A red string tangled around my arms.
"DAD! " I yelled, knowing that it's useless to fight back.
"You know it's for your own g-----"
"yeah yeah, my own good." I muttered.
Mom appeared by my side all of a sudden, "Drink it."
I shut my mouth and turned my head to the other side.
"No." I said, my words all muffled.
**************
"PFFFFT!!! PFFFT PFFT PLEH PLEH!!!"
The couple looked at me with a smile.
"PLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEH!!!"
"Don't be over- dramatic child." Dad said.
His red eyes glowing as the red strings loosens.
"This tastes horrible! " I yelled.
"Yeah, I know, back in the old days, your mom uses to feed me these in force." He said, glancing to his right, where mom is standing.
"You were a pain in the ass." She said.
"Language mom." I said.
"Who's the mother now? " Dad laughed.
My mom and me glared at him.
"you know, it took me an entire 2 minutes to shove this thing in your mouth." she said.

2 minutes for my mom is a pretty long time, as her quirk is time stopping.
Dad's quirk is basically truth.
He'll tangle you with the red string of his and force you to say the truth with it.
That's like two quirks, trapping and truth.
But he would always tell me that he only have one.
"Mom, what do you think my quirk will be?" I asked.
"That, you have to figure it out yourself."
****************
" RRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" I yelled, gripping tightly onto a clock.
My mom dashed up the stairs, my dad followed.
"WHAT IS IT?! "
"My quirk! My quirk! " I screamed.
"Oh, I thought you were attacked by a burglar or something." Dad said, lowering the pan in his hand.
My mom was excited, she rushed towards me, "Tell me, is it daddy like or mommy like?"
"Mommy like." I said.
Mom did a punch in the air.
I activated my quirk and walked towards dad, I took his pan and placed it on his head.
I deactivated my abilty.
"Hehehehehehe." I laughed.
Mom looked back at me in shock.
"How did you...."
Confused, I asked, "What is it?"
"How long were you in there? " she asked.
"One minute."
"Oh wow! My limit from the start was only 5 seconds! " she exclaimed.
At that moment, I felt special.
I found out that there was no limit for my quirk, I was almost unstoppable at school, but in a good way.
But then, I found out, being special....is not always good.
"Mom? Dad? "
I pushed open the door, where's the warm welcome?
It felt cold and icy.
I threw my backpack on the side and rushed upstairs.
"MOM? DAD?! " I yelled.
There was no one in the bedroom, not in the basement, not in the kitchen, no where.
I even used my quirk, I searched all around the house, no one.
I cried, I felt useless, I was useless.
Days passed by, no one came back, I had to do all the housework myself.
Mom and dad never came back, weeks passed.
Months passed.
No one, I would wake up every morning, hoping to see them in their beds, tired and exhausted from their vacation, but no.
Every morning, it would just be disappointment.
A year passed, my hopes were already crushed by then.
I would cry in my sleep everyday, waking up with a black circles under my eyes.
Where are they?
I would go to the authorities every week, but there was no sign of them.
I would walk through the city, my foot all sore and briused.
But still, it was useless.
They can't just leave like that, they could've had left a note or something.
*************
"Are you serious? You found them? " I yelled through the phone.
"Yes b-----"
"Tell me! Where were they?! Where did they go?! Why they left me?!" I yelled.
"I'm sorry to inform you but..."
"BUT WHAT?! BUT WHAT?! " I yelled impatiently, the hope to see them had devoured me.
"They were taken by H.E.L, they're gone."
For a little girl like me, knowing this much and losing this much at a young age was too much for me.
I couldn't take the pressure, for once, I tried to kill myself, but was send to the hospital and unwillingly saved.
Then it all happened.
"I trusted you! " I yelled.
Tears rolling down my cheeks.
I really did.

Galactic Internet: System Initializing Book 1
The Galactic Internet is a system takeover LitRPG with two MC's. It's gritty and dark at times, so I'd like to start with a brief warning. The story was made for adults, and as such contains some cursing, potentially traumatizing violence, gore, indentured servitudes. There is no sexually explicit material in the first book. However, there is nudity and sexual interactions aren't out of the scope of possibilities for later in the story. The first book is almost exclusively trying to figure out how the game works and trying to stay alive. It is a very open system that I've implemented. Expect to see anything from androids and aliens, to goblins and trolls.
