《Abnormal》Chapter 41 Awesomely lost

"I'm sorry mom." Shawn said.
Mrs. White crossed her arms, "I have to admit, you were able to beat a mid tier as a cripple, impressive."
Yeah, I have beaten up a high tier once if you don't know.
"Thank you for the compliment." I said.
"Now, Shawn! Come here." She said.
The little boy avoided me and ran towards his mother.
Both of them walked away, leaving us two.
"So emm...." I huffed, "What now?"
"It's been a long day." Sean said.
"Duh I know, I messed up." I sighed, "Do you know where the bathroom is? "
"You see that red lamp, turn right after you walk pass that and then turn left , you'll see a blue door, go in, and you'll meet what you need." Sean said with his index finger pointing at the ceiling.
I nodded.
So....turn right, turn left and....is there another right or....
Blue door!
Except this one is....more purple?
I pushed open the door, but I didn't see the toilet I needed.
I saw, a bedroom.
It was plain, normal and just the kind of bedroom most people could affort.
It was a bedroom, nothing special.
Bed, closet, drawer, cupboard, carpet, it was plain.
I brushed the dust off the drawer.
It's been sometime since someone lived here.
I glanced at the cupboard, hey! Interesting STUFF!
Wait, no, I am a child with manners, I will not touch these stuffs!
............. ; - ;
But then I still did, call me childish but it's just me.
Cough*
"Boy, there's a lot of dust here." I said as I wiped the dust off the pictures.
It was all pictures of Sean.
Sean when he was small.
He had messy blue hair back then.
Loose clothes with a funny ribbon on it's collar.
There were two more pics.

In one, Sean was dressed like a girl.
He was standing beside his dad, David and another woman, he was holding onto a test paper.
I smiled at that one.
They looked happy.
And for once, Sean scored full marks.
When they were taking that picture.
I was freaking stuck in a glass box with white man in needles surrounding me.
"Terrible dark days." I laughed.
I placed the two pictures on the side and looked at the last one.
He was a primary student, I'm guessing primary 2....or 3.
He was in a black and white uniform.
There was a woman standing beside him, I had to tilt my head to look at the picture in a more clear perspective.
That woman...hey! Isn't that Mrs. White?
This picture wasn't as bright as the other one.
This one was quite....dull.
Sean was smiling, but looking at that smile, all it gives was negativity, it looked more forced than true.
I took all the pictures and returned them all to their original spot.
Shoot, after all those, I entirely forgot to do my business.
Cough*
I walked towards the door and pushed it open.
I came from that way...right?
Or maybe that way....
Mmmmmmmmmm........
E-nie-mie-nie-mi-ni-mo......
Left it is.
I walked towards the left hall, turned left , right and then right again.
It became darker then before.
No, I went the wrong way...
I looked back, there was no light.
Sean couldn't have left me in this maze, that crazy lady could, but Sean wouldn't.
I turned right and then left.
No, it's complete darkness, I went the wrong way.
I turned back, now I am stuck in the middle of four paths.
Which way did I come from again?
Urgh, my brain always fails in these kind of things.
I came from that way right?
I thought, pointing at my left.

Nah, I'll choose the brightest path.
I picked the path with the strongest light.
**************
Really?
I checked the time, 8 : 40 pm.
Someone rescue me!
I sighed, "This is hopeless, I am hopeless."
I could use my quirk, but if i get caught by a camera, then fudge, I'm screwed.
Maybe I should wait.....
Yeah, that should be the best option.
**************
Millie! Millie! Millie ! Millie ! Millie!
The voice bounced off the walls and echoed through the corridor.
I sat up all of a sudden.
So I have fallen asleep here.
What time is it now?
I checked my watch, 10 : 39 pm.
"Anybody there? I need serious HALLPPP!" I yelled.
Footsteps from all directions approached.
It's....really creepy...
Especially at night.
I looked at all four corridors and sighed.
Suddenly, something pounced at me, it hooked onto my neck and locked my hands with it's legs.
I immediately turned around, it loosened its grip.
Heh, this won't take more than a second for me to get rid of it.
I yanked one of my arms out and grabbed whatever that was on my back.
" Let GO! " I yelled as i threw it to the wall.
"Wha....."
Wait...is that Shawn?
Ooooo, it all make sense now~
I leapt forward and grabbed him before he crashed into the vase behind him.
"You could have at least said your name." I muttered.
Instead of looking terrified, he said, "Can you fight me?"
What?
"Woah woah....what?"
"Can you fight me?" He asked innocently.
"Why though?" I gently placed him down.
"Sean is too strong, my friends are too weak, same goes to my teachers, so can you...you know, fight me?" He asked again.
I frowned, "Ehhh, maybe another time."
He's too cute for me to hurt, too.....pure and innocent.
" SHAWN! " Someone yelled, wait no, Sean yelled.
"Big bro! " The little boy jumped.
"Finally found you, I can't affort to lose you too." He said, letting out a sigh of relief.
I snuck behind him.
"So did you find her?" Sean asked.
Shawn bobbed his head and giggled.
I let all my hair down, including my bangs.
"What?" Sean said, "So where is she?"
I placed my cold hand on his shoulder, "Boo."
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
**************
The next minute was me trying to chase them back as Sean took Shawn after the scream and made a run for it.
"STOP! " I yelled.
"HELL NAH!!" Sean replied.
Shawn looks like he's having fun, he was sitting on Sean's shoulders, looking back to see me every 5 seconds.
"If she still chasing us?!" Sean wheezed.
"Yep! She looks pretty th----"
"There's no time for that! Shoot her with your energy balls! " he yelled.
"But I can't, s----" Shawn wanted to continue, but was interrupted by his freaked out brother.
"No buts! Not in this kind of situation! " Sean said, almost out of breathe.
I quickened my steps, "WAIT S-----"
"STOP CHASING US THEN!"
He didn't even let me finish.
"Y----"
Shawn jumped off but didn't stick the landing.
"OOF! "
He fell on his butt.
Me and Sean halted to a stop.
"Shawn! " Both of us yelled.
We ran towards the little boy on the floor and grabbed his arm.
"Let go! " Sean yelled, trying to yank Shawn out of my grip.
"Sean, you don't need to be afraid, she is a nice lady." Shawn said with a smile.
"Yeah Sean, I am a nice lady." I said in a singsong voice.
Sean looked at us, flabbergasted.

Protagonist: The Whims of Gods
Book one now also on Amazon! After quitting her job as a therapist and grabbing some work at a dog shelter, Tess's life became pretty slow. A tad boring, even. It thus came as no small surprise when she was chosen by a god. Thrust into a new world where magic, monsters, and character levels are suddenly a reality, Tess will quickly find that just surviving can be a challenge. It doesn't help that dark forces are stirring, she's woefully underpowered, and that spiders keep trying to claw her face off. One thing's for certain, though: The possibilities are endless. Will she end up wrestling a dragon? Becoming an arch-mage? Opening a quaint, bookstore, coffee shop, and wine bar for elves? The choice is hers... As long as she can live long enough to make it. Protagonist is a fairly classic LitRPG novel with character levels, classes, stats, settlements, and other LitRPG elements. Unlike a lot of LitRPG stories, while the protagonist has some perks, she doesn't start off overpowered. You can expect to see her struggle as she advances. This novel also takes the opportunity to explore some less frequently seen builds, shying away from any min-maxing. Chapters are about ~2000-3000 words and are released at 8:00am ET every other day.

Transmigration Retiree
"What's that you say? I can never leave this reality ever? Good!" Ed, was a normal man in a world full of superheroes, so he didn't really have too many complaints when that first truck fell on him. After all he'd read enough comics to know that sometimes things just happen. Besides he'd been getting on in years when it happened, and his life till then, though lonely, had more or less been fully lived. The second time around when that one guy pushed him off a cliff for a chalice of immortal ambrosia, wasn't so cool though, and then there was that third time when he was just getting used to life as a lady, and that crazy goddess showed up out of nowhere and started ranting about purging the demon menace....then some other stuff happened and he briefly got to go back to earth before falling into a coma where he adventured in the world of dreams. Then the aliens came, and the dream ended and he was suddenly stuck being the AI Overmind for the whole damn star systm. The aliens died, and because he was all mechanical and what-not he just kind of had to keep on going. Forced to continue collecting the materials and data from countless worlds that were destoryed in the process. Then there was that whole war with the gods business that followed...mostly because of all that world destroying he did because of some fairly faulty programming. Anyway, thankfully someone pulled a "rocks fall" on that whole curfuffle, because by the time he was in control of himself again, things had long gotten out of hand. Now the powers-that-be tell him that he must spend the rest of his existence in single lonely section of the cosmos. Trapped in a single portion of a single universe. And now he weeps...No worries though, these are tears of joy. Hopefully this final unending existence he's been given will be the quiet life he's been looking for. A Man who's seen everything gets abducted by aliens and is converted into an AI that sits at the helm of a fleet of alien ships and behind the computer systems for most their planets. This Alien AI goes to war with the gods and ends up nearly destroying an entire reality. The Angels condemn the troublemaking AI to life as normal child on a far off world....All truth said, the "AI" couldn't be happier. His life's been far too interesting(read: Scary, Inconvenient and Painful) in his opinion and he could do with a bit of normalcy.
