《Abnormal》Chapter 29 quirk reveal 1

It's been days since I talked to Sean.
I am definitely still mad at Sean for saying those heartless sentences at me, but that doesn't stop me from helping him.
Everytime he gets bullied, injured or wounded, I would stop the fight with words, if I have to, with my fist.
Then I would take Sean to the infirmary, help him, and leave without a word.
What is it called again, something to describe this kind of scenery..... Cold war, right, except between friends...
***********
I was walking through the hall when someone tapped on my shoulder.
"Yes?" turning around.
"Eric? What is it?" I said, seeing Eric in front of me and the other students staring.
"I need you to do me a favor." He said.
"What kind of favor?" I asked.
"You know how to fight right?" He asked.
I bobbed my head.
"Bring Sean to me, even if he declines." He said.
"What? Why would I do that?" I yelled out.
"Because I told you to, now go get h-----"
"I decline." I said, turning my back on him and walking away.
"OI ! " Eric snarled.
I looked back, "What."
"That's not a question, it's an order." He yelled.
"That's not a question, it's an order~" I said in a singsong voice, imitating Eric's sentence.
"I'm not your puppet, or your maid, so go do it yourself." I added, walking away.
Eric's eyes glowed yellow.
I stopped, "So the mighty king is going to waste his quirk on a cripple now?" sniggered me.
"Or is it your too scared to even ask a cripple to come with you?"
Eric frowned, his guns all pointing at me.
"Pathetic." I laughed.
One of his guns started to move, stunning bullets.
It fired at me, I stared directly at it, and closed my eyes.

My first quirk, Monochrome.
My right eye glowed crimson red, but no one can see them as I closed my eyes.
Everything went black and white, but not just that, it all went in super slow version.
I walked around the hall, getting a glimpse of what everyone is doing.
I walked back, at about 15 minutes later, but in real life, it was not every the quarter of a second.
Standing in my original spot, I tilted my head to the right , closed my eyes and deactivated my abilty.
I opened them again, finding everyone frozen.
Not frozen but stunned... Oh my god I'm running out of words.
Not stunned by Eric's bullets but dumbfounded.
Yeah...not much people in the world is able to estimate the bullets' direction and dodge them.
"I don't want to talk to you." I said, turning and leaving.
Monochrome, rank: 9.4
I walked down the stairs, looking at the ground.
I shouldn't have used my quirk, too risky, I really shouldn't h-----
Crash!
Books fell on me, bouncing off my head.
"ow, ow, double ow...." I said as the books keep knocking my head.
"Sorry..." A boy said.
I looked up, "Sean?"
Sean's eyes widened, "Oh uhh...hi Millie..."
I picked some of the books on the ground and handed it to him.
"Becareful Sean, I'm warning you, don't go near Sean or his followers." I said, warning him.
He nodded, "Thanks...."
************
"Math...finished, Science...handed it in, English.....finished in lunch, Geography.....done, and yeah! That's pretty much it for today." I said, snapping my notebook shut.
I walked up the stairs to my apartment, but stopped.
Someone was on the stairs above me, waiting.
There was one..no, two boys.
What are they doing here?
I could use my quirk and walk pass them, but the question is, why are they here?

I cleared my throat, "Oi, you two up there, what are you doing?"
No response.
I walked up there, finding two boys looking at me with their arm crossed.
Damien on the left and T on the right.
They just had to send the two most digusting creature in school.
"What do you want." I said, one of my hands on my hip.
"You of course, who else." T answered, sticking his thumbs in his pockets.
"Why? Don't you have better things to do?"
Damien sniggered, "Nah, Eric sent us here."
"No thank you, I'll just use the other way." I said, turning and walking back down.
T clicked his tongue, two more boys walked out of the other end.
"What the hell...." I muttered.
"Get her." Damien ordered.
***********
"You got caught too huh?"Sean said.
I spoke nothing, clearly not happy, they just had to tie me up, can't they just throw me in the room?
Me and Sean was tied together in KP's ropes, on a chair.
"Can't you break out of here? " I asked.
"No?" Sean answered.
Oh right... He needs a quirk to duplicate.
But mine won't help.
The door bursted open, Eric walked in with Damien and T on each of his side.
I glared at him, Sean rolled his eyes.
"Watch your manners." Eric's loyal servant T snarled.
I stuck out my tongue.
Damien stepped out to punch me, but Eric stopped him.
"Both of you, better answer my questions properly, or I can't promise you to walk out of this room without something broken." He said.
Me and Sean rolled our eyes.
"Sean, what is your old school's name? " He asked seriously.
Sean didn't budge to tell the truth, "Homeschooled."
Eric gave T a look, T immediately went out and dragged a girl in, "Use your quirk."
"Y..y..yes s..s..sir..." the poor girl stammered.
She went to Sean, shivering.
"Sean what is your old school's name?" Eric repeated.
"Homeschooled." Sean said.
The little girl shivered, "H..He's l..l.lying."
Damien went up and gave Sean's face a punch.
Sean groaned in pain, Damien grabbed his throat, "Say it."
Sean choked, but he said nothing.
"Stop Damien." The proud king said.
Damien stopped and walked back to his side.
Sean coughed, the girl on his right was terrified, her legs shaked and she fell on the ground.
"Spill it !" Eric yelled.
"Kenex foreign international school." Sean angrily spat out, "Now can we go?" He yelled.
Eric laughed, "We are far from done."
"t..t..t..truth..." The girl on the ground said.
"Luna, go to the girl's side." T ordered.
The girl named Luna scurried to my side.
"Millie, what is your old school's n----"
"Homeschooled." I said, looking at my foot.
Luna nodded and gulped, meaning I'm saying the truth.
Eric tilted his head.
"Where were you while homeschooled." He asked.
"My house, on my study desk with an apple ipad and my stuff toy Mr.Reddington, isn't that obvious?" I said without hesitation.
Yeah! Isn't that obvious? It's homeschooled, home schooled, home school!
Luna nodded again, seems like she's too frightened to even say anything.
Eric frowned, "Mind your attitude."
He took a couple of seconds before asking the next one.
"Then Millie, where are your parents living." He asked.
My eyes widened, why is he even askng me all these?!
"Why are you asking me all these?!" I yelled.
Eric crossed his arms, "Just answer the damn question."
I bit my lips in anger, this dude is getting on my nerves.

From then on, it'll be Monday - Friday. Important Note: It's written in a style of a 'Chinese-translated-to-English' type of story. I get the confusion in the earlier chapters, however– NO harem. It's mostly a turn-off-your-brain chill type of story. Author's Note: As this is the first story that I've ever written, there will be occasional errors and as such, please forgive me in advance.

The carnomancer
Jackson was but a normal american just looking to get by in life. unfortunately for him life had other plans as a terrorist bombing took place in the air port in london where he was getting off at. The resulting explosion killed him instantly, and now he has been reincarnated into the world of Rokna. In this new world of magic, monsters, and conflict join him under his new identity Adimir freelancer the adventurer half-elf as he seeks a way to live out an exciting life of researching new and creative ways of combining magic and science. But with a tyrannical empire beginning to prepare for a bloody war the signs of turmoil begin to loom on the horizon. Adimir will face numerous challenges. Both challenges to those native to this world, and against other people have come from earth. Author's comment: I'll be uprfont with you on the entire war thing that the description hints at. Yes it will eventually happen, and many of the strange and out of place things in the beginning will tie into that. Not that it will be explained until much later in the novel. In fact the first 100 or 200 chapters will be spent on the main character growing stronger as an adventurer before the entire war even begins to start rearing its ugly head. So for those eager for the war to kick off sorry, but there won't be a big explosive war so early. At least not with the empire (although if you read carefully you may be able to pick up signs of how close the war is with what happens in the story). But the wait (I hope) will be worth it as it will be diving into some of the stuff a otherworlder in a significant position of power could do with the right knowledge. With that little warning over with I hope you enjoy this novel of mine. Its my first actual attempt at writing a story for people to read so please keep that in mind. If you have any criticism please tell me. I'd love to read them and will be using them to help me in improving my writing quality as time goes on. Experience is the best teacher after all.
