Then a Blackish Red marking attracted his attention, he knew it was the Personal Implant(P.I.).

Quinn was very excited when Elgar informed him that his father has given him a P.I. after all he was still ignorant about this world's happenings and other info.

Though Andre did not give him any manual or user's guide for PI Quinn has seen many customers operate their PI. He knew one can mentally command their Personal Implant; so he just focused on the wrist and told 'OPEN' in his mind.

Immediately the Blackish red mark projected a holographic screen. Quinn was excited, this screen meant he could browse all the information he craved to obtain.

Before Quinn could dabble with PI, his parents rushed into his room, and Andre examined his vitals.

“The body has perfectly adapted to the Chip. There are no signs of rejection from his body.”

Helena gave a relieved sigh at Andre’s reassuring comment.

‘If it can have detrimental side-effects Shouldn’t it handled by professionals, like doctors?’

Quinn was confused, but he kept his mouth sealed. He never took his parents for those reckless individuals moreover he didn’t know common practices prevalent here.

Then his father informed him that if he were conscious about PI, the chances of failure would increase thus to for safety reason Andre was forced to take him out by surprise.

Afterwards, Andre passed a dull black metal ring to Quinn. Once he wore it ring glowed with blue patterns for a few seconds before restoring to its original dull form.

When it glowed the ring made a connection with his Soul-Spirit and thus Quinn got to know its real function; a storage device.

A storage device has an in-build space or dimension within it, in which you could keep any inanimate things. The things kept in the space rings will remain in the same condition till you take them out because the time and space in the ring are frozen.

This black ring's is 100x100x100.

Quinn sucked in a deep breath when he learnt the dimensions. Though he had seen many weird things and was numb to surprises, it still caught him off guard.

Quinn was aware of storage devices, in fact, he has seen a few of them in the restaurant with every imaginable shapes and forms ranging from ring, bracelets, to pouches and bags.

Only a few wealthy customers would use them. What really puzzled him is the fact that his family could afford a storage ring. Although Quinn didn't know the price of a storage ring, he was sure that it was certainly out of their reach.

When he looked inside the ring, he saw all his things neatly packed and arranged carefully. While Quinn was exploring the storage ring, Blake, Andre and Helena were looking at him like an alien.

The blue glow from the ring was like a bolt from the blue. Everyone was rooted to the ground in shock.

Quinn cocked his head up to his parents while Blake was the first one to recover.

He snapped out and instantly grabbed Quinn, inspected the ring a few seconds before giving his grandson a merry-go-round with a burst of hearty laughter.

Quinn was confused seeing his Grandpa's crazy actions.

Soon Helena and Andre also woke from the shock. Before they could ask Quinn any question.

"Quinn, have you ever felt anything over here?"

Then Blake pointed at Quinn's Glabella. When Blake asked this question, everyone in the room look looked at Quinn, all their faces were filled with expectations.

Unwilling to disappoint them, he gave rapid nods. After all, he was planning on revealing his Basic soul to reassure his parents. Quinn's affirmation sent his parents to a trance.

All three adults had very different faces. Blake's was like a commander who has won a challenging war with just his wits. While Helena and Andre were like lucky survivors of a great disaster.

Blake felt that he was too smart for convincing the couple not to do Qi transfusion. Andre and Helena felt lucky because they nearly destroyed their child's future.

Blake looked at the couple in triumph, and then he turned to Quinn.

"Quinn, explain what or how you felt about the soul?"

Blake asked with anticipation. Quinn thought a while before answering, no one in the room forced him all of them were patiently waiting.

"Grandpa, What is a soul? I think you’re talking about fluffy.”

Quinn was too clever for giving any slip-ups, he gave cute confused look and continued after a small pause.

“At times I will feel innumerable tiny particles moving within my body, they wouldn't have real form. It was more intangible or illusory, but I felt a strange connection with it."

"One day when I was watching "Squash the Bug" where many small bugs come together and forming a giant bug monster. I also wanted to make a big bug monster.

So I asked mom to buy me many small bugs, but she refused and even scolded me. At night I got the same feeling again because I couldn't get many little bugs I tried to use the tiny particles to form a bug monster.

After many tries, I still failed to form a bug monster all I could create was a cluster of a yellowish-white ball inside my head over here."

Quinn spoke as he adorably pointed at his Glabella.

"Though the bug monster wasn't formed, I formed fluffy snow monster. I tried to play with it many times, but strangely it will vanish after 1 minute, and I will feel very sleepy afterwards.

Grandpa, actually Fluffy's very shy. No matter how many times I called it outside, it will never come out. Grandpa, are you asking snow monster for playing with it?"

Quinn asked Blake.

When Blake heard Quinn's question, he felt like shouting "Who would want a f**king snow monster or a shitty bug monster. You are the f**king monster here."

Helena and Andre looked at their son as though they saw a terrifying monster. They have never heard of someone forming their Basic Soul inspired from a cartoon.

Blake didn't know what to say. He was very experienced and has heard many weird things, but this is the most bizarre encounter he's ever had. Had Quinn not been his grandson he would have smacked his ass for lying to him.

'If those old frats ever get to know that my grandson formed his Basic Soul from a cartoon, they would be surely cough litres of blood, and some might even die of jealousy. Heheheeee'

Even though he was proud for having such a prodigious grandson; Blake still refused to believe the ridiculous story, he really conflicted. After deep contemplation, he thought the cartoon might have some issues as it was supposed to be the root cause.

"Quinn can you play that cartoon."

Blake was a man of action, so he immediately asked Quinn to play that cartoon. Even Andre and Helena were looking forward to seeing if there was anything special about that cartoon.

Everyone went to the television. Actually, it wasn't television; it was just a small white pod affixed to the ground.

"Play 'Squash the Bug- Episode 30'" Quinn ordered to the pod. After that, a light shot from the pod towards Quinn. The moment Quinn gave the order, everyone was looking at the pod eagerly.

Especially Helena was the one in need for inspiration in soul cultivation to further breakthrough. She even muttered 'Dumb TV quickly turn on.'
