"After I found the problem; I was forced to reveal everything to Wade, including the truth about his mother’s condition. He was devastated, and something intrinsic within him broke.
Later, started cultivating like a lunatic, day in and day out he would close up in a small hill, but all his efforts were in vain."
"Wade grew old before my eyes and died in these same hands. His last words are still ringing in my ears' Dad, I'm sorry, sorry for being so useless and a such a heavy burden' after that he gave a miserable smile and died."
"Those two smiles have simply been etched into my heart; Suzy's serene smile and Wade's smile filled with melancholy. I failed Suzy, I lost my only son; my foolishness destroyed my only family."
When Helena came to comfort him, he stopped her and wiped the tears. A few seconds later continued in a neutral emotionless tone.
"After seeing my son die and my wife in a vegetable state, my fuse burst, and I went berserk. I went on a kill spree massacring innumerable scums and decades later, my inner scars started to heal.
Later, to prevent other families from falling apart, I spent enormous wealth and publicized the truth about Qi transfusion. Even then, I couldn't make any substantial impact on the number of wild parents performing Qi transfusion for this meagre possibility.
All I achieved was emptying my pockets and reopening my scars again and again and again.
Thus I ceased all these awareness activities about Qi transfusion and took over Natal Dawn School."
When Blake mentioned these, his anger flared up, and an overbearing, tyrannical aura busted from him. After finishing, Blake felt the exhaustion of recalling all these painful memories.
He walked to the chair and sat down and then poured a cup of tea to cool his temper and overcome the exhaustion.

A few minutes later, he recovered his calm and tranquil aura. While Blake was drinking tea, both Andre and Helena were pacing through the lawn in deep thought while debating via mind-transmissions.
They looked perplexed, they had to choose whether they should do Qi transfusion or not. Regardless of what they choose, this decision is bound to have a profound impact on their child’s life.
Blake looked at them and then spoke in a soft and gentle tone while placing the empty teacup on the table.
"Helena, you’re the only family left, and Quinn is my grandson."
"Before both of carefully listen to me, and then decide. Though Qi transfusion improves the body constitution, you should realize that it goes against the natural order; thus, it will always lead to complication one way or the other."
"Moreover, due to my bitter experience, I studied body constitution extensively and understood certain things. Through the old records, it is evident that those who break through this confinement will reach greater heights.
The possibility of this happening is indeed far lesser compared to Qi transfusion because though it is not against the natural order, it is about breaking the limit through extraordinary willpower which is equally heaven-defying." B
lake was calm and collected as he talked about Qi transfusion. Then his tone changed cold and harsh.
"Andre before you decide; think of your son carefree face do you really want him to suffer such a burden, you can never run away from the truth so must tell him the truth one day or other.
Or do you have the strength to see Helena in a coma-like a cold corpse or can you bearing seeing your son growing old before you and dying in your own arm."
Blake's words were like sword puncturing into Andre's weakest point. Then Blake stared straight into Andre's eyes and then looked towards Helena.

"Helena. Are you really going to punish your son and husband in such a cruel manner? Moreover, killing everyone in the process. Though mother's love is vaster than the ocean; think about the consequences of your action."
Blake then questioned Helena in the same cold tone. He’s strict with them to prevent them from committing the same mistake and life a miserable life.
After hearing Blake's questions, both Andre and Helena stood quietly with their heads down.
"Moreover, the chance of Quinn creating a miracle is quite high as he has Grade 10 natal soul. Do you really plan on destroying such a talent? It true that he would suffer great hardships; but how could one become strong without going through storms?"
"A greenhouse pet tiger can never win a wild dog. So let Quinn join Natal Dawn School and give him a chance to forge his own path. I will take as my official discipline if needed and make a legend of my grandchild. This is all I could say the final decision is yours to make." After which turned and went into the house.
The couple stood there speechlessly they were both thinking the same thing 'After such a scolding you're still telling us that we still have a choice' Only now did these two people realize why everyone called this old man shameless and notorious.
He could have just told his story and told that with Quinn natal soul, he could become strong more easily, why must he give them such a harsh scolding. Andre and Helen look at each other and then sent a helpless smile
******
At 9 pm the sky was dark, and it was very calm.
Andre, Quinn and Blake were sitting in the dining table waiting for the dinner. Quinn and Blake were seated in one sit while Andre was opposite to Quinn. Till now Andre and Helena have not given Blake an answer which made the atmosphere a bit strange.
Then Helena came from the kitchen in the apron with a ponytail hair. She smiled at Quinn and asked him
"Quinn, are you okay with going to a boarding school?"
Helena asked Quinn.
Quinn was caught off guard, and his eyes bulged with his mouth gaping in shock; everyone around him couldn't control their laughter looking at his comical expression.
After Quinn recovered, he quickly nodded many times as if he was afraid of losing the chance to answer. He was well aware that he would miss Helena and Andre; still had to grasp this chance to venture into cultivation world.
Moreover, only with freedom, can he spread his wings and soar. He had secrets that couldn't share even with his parents.
"Mom, will I get many friends to play with if I went to school."
Quinn asked this is very naïve and innocent tone which could clear any doubts that could have arisen from his earlier slip-up. It was neatly executed stunt.
"You will surely make many friends at school and have lots of fun there. Grandpa Blake will be there for you."
Helena mother assured her kid. Everyone laughed happily after Quinn accepted to go to school.
Helena and Andre were at a loss; both of didn't want their child to suffer in the harsh world. Deep down, they knew it was but a pipe dream, and without the facing these challenges, he could never man up.
'Legends forge their own destiny', and Quinn was bound to be a legend.
Helena and Andre could only helplessly sigh in resignation.

Zeke Herald, Goblin Slayer
Zeke wakes up inside a small cavemouth, no memories or direction, just the will to live. Also, he's smack dab in the middle of a forest that's teeming with ugly little goblins. The only good goblin is one with a sword sticking out of it, as my father used to say. I tried to incorperate LitRPG elements. I'm only recently introduced to the genre, but I find it really fasinating! So intrigued I even started writing a little story expressing my joy of all things numerical! This story has a focus on hardwork and deliberate progression, no magical deus ex machinas here sorry.
