《Welcome to the Dungeon》Chapter 28

After what seemed like forever, we arrived in a small room with a blue barrier erected. Inside, there were old books and scrolls, treasures and artifacts that seemed immeasurably powerful, and other objects and runes I couldn't figure out.
The queen, after speaking in some unknown language, led us through the barrier. I thought it must have been a magic language since I couldn't decipher it.
"In here, the dungeon can't interfere. This is the heritage the original fairy queen left, and, ordinarily, only I would enter. Bella, in the future, shall learn the memories stored here, and she should not have been able to come here so early. However, this matter is of such grave importance, this is the only place we could discuss it," the queen began.
"By agreement with the owner of this dungeon, the established barrier in this place is impenetrable without me personally disabling it, using an ancient magical language and my spiritual force. Even the controller couldn't spy on this place."
"What's so important about this little crystal?" I asked. I was confused, because, even the ridiculously powerful spells could be discussed elsewhere.
"First, we must go over the issue Craig discussed. I believe it's related to you. I already heard some of it from my friends, and it appears the weakest Demon King has been released from imprisonment. I believe he is serving you. Unless you absolutely must, keep the kings a secret. You'll learn more soon when he is ready to start the meeting. Don't worry, though, the demons are undetectable within your strong soul."
"Balam will be my secret," I said while the girls appeared confused. They didn't know about this. I explained to them that I had a powerful hellfire demon serving me and that no one else should know.
"Now, onto the bigger issue. I don't know every detail, but what you have is a world core. There is no way it should appear here. It is only usable by gods and devils, never by lesser races such as ourselves. It is the center of a world, capable of supporting it forever, sustaining life and energy, atmospheric creation, natural cycles, ore creation, and other planetary functions. It also protects planets. If anyone knew an unclaimed one appeared, even the controller and owner of this dungeon would fight to the death for it. I am luckily not interested. Those who could kill you with less than a thought will strive to possibly get this. It is needed to become a god or a devil, and even your angel army may not be able to defend you. They may take it for themselves."
"I'll hide it in my spiritual world," I responded.
"Good," she said. "Go there. Quickly, now."
I entered my spiritual world, and the gemstone immediately began reacting.
"I don't believe this," Balam said.
How could he even enter? Usually, my demons can't.
"The world core is reacting with this small sub-dimensional miniplane, fusing with it and making it into an actual world. I've never seen this before. I've only heard of it."
"What's that mean?" I asked.
"Even though you are nowhere near as strong as a god or devil, you are somehow refining the core. This will be your world. Here, you will be invincible once done. Your transition, if you are ever powerful enough, will be smooth and use this world as a basis. Our old master was Rank-three God Solomon, serving under a rank-five god. I know a little but not enough."
"Good morning, master," a sweet voice resounded.

"Who's there?" I asked, not recognizing it.
"I am the world core of this world. In order to forever bind with you and this soon-to-be world, I require one last thing: a name."
"Persephone," I said.
"Thank you, master. This planet is now yours. The crystal used was for a six-star world, so the size will increase. Just tell me if you want me to do anything here."
I began listing some commands, such as creating continents and an ocean. I also had lush forests and beautiful flowers bloom. About 70% was land, 10% ocean, and 15% fresh water.
As for the entire planet, I learned that earth was a two-star planet, and Jupiter was three-star. The explosive growth of my planet was astounding. It already grew to have a circumference of 1.9*1024kilometers, which, for comparison, was the circumference of Jupiter multiplied by that of the sun. Over a billion earths could fit inside, and it wasn't done. It was only at five-star.
Finally, it finished, with a circumference of 5.4*1040 kilometers. It would take hundreds of thousands of years for light to go from one side of the planet to the other, but I could sense it all and instantly go anywhere.
"Master is lucky," Persephone's core said once the world fully expanded. "Even ℵ7 gods may be unable to have such a large world, even though they have countless smaller ones."
"Here, you are invincible. Even if you die outside and have no external body, as long as your soul is intact and can return here, you can remain in this world. Without external support, you can never leave, but you will still be invincible here. With but a thought, anything in this world can be changed by you. You can allow people entrance and remove or kill anyone here, regardless of their strength. That is the power of having your own world. You need resources to do a lot, but there's enough blood stored inside me to begin cultivating life. Oxygen has already been increased to 30% to accommodate lifeforms. You also control all laws within the planet. I hope I continue to eternally be of use to you, master."
After the explanation finished, I brought Bella and my daughters. Our small location wasn't changed at all.
"Is this still the same place?" Bella asked, surprised.
"I once read an ancient book, which described the callosal size of some planets. I can't even begin to see how vast this world is," Krystal said.
"I sent a beam of light when we arrived, but it hasn't returned. It takes a while for even light to reach the end," Kylee evaluated.
I, of course, knew of the light beam. I then decided to return it, so it wouldn't endlessly roam about.
"It's back," she exclaimed.
"Yes, I returned it," I responded.
"How is that possible?" Krystal asked.
"Easy. I refined the world core. Here, I am like a god and can do anything."
"Amazing!" my daughters exclaimed.
"Thank you," I said.
"Even Gabriel couldn't do anything to the world he's in charge of."
"Persephone is in charge, and I just tell her what I want to be done. She's the world core—the interface I use to change the world. Persephone, say 'hello.'"
"People should soon be born in this world," she replied, giving a report. "The spiritual energy was raised by 3% by the remaining energy. Also, hello, master's guests. Master, what passport should I give them?"
"Passport?" I asked.

"Passports allow entry through the world's barrier. You will always be able to, but others need your permission or to come with you. Passports are what allows others to enter this world. Usually, once a world is established enough, the process is handled automatically. People born here can only leave with your permission, but, by default, they can always come back. Although the barrier is very weak, currently since you are not a god, the world is separated from all others. Passports need to be created manually."
"Allow these three to enter and exit whenever they want, but no other guests are allowed without my permission."
"Yes, master. They aren't dimensional travelers, so they will still need to be near you. Their authority is updated, now."
"Thank you," I replied.
Now that we were finished with that and the others met the core, we went back to the dungeon to report.
"Welcome back," the fairy queen said. "I hope you have hidden it well."
"Thank you; however, there's no need to hide it. It has integrated into my spiritual world."
"How is that possible?"
"I'm not sure, myself."
"This is unprecedented. Don't tell anyone else, ever."
"Of course."
"Good, now let me give you something."
The fairy queen went towards one of the treasures the small room held.
"Since you are married to Bella, you have the right to inherit this treasure," the fairy queen said as she used obscure, three-dimensional runes to unseal the crystal box.
When done, I looked inside. There were two artifacts. One looked like a small metallic bead. The other looked like a fake tattoo. The fairy queen quickly approached me and put the tattoo-like treasure against my forehead. It quickly disappeared, and she gave me the metallic one.
"The imprint allows you to slowly absorb the world energy accumulated by the dungeon at an undetectable rate."
"Thank you," I replied.
"This," she said while gesturing to the metallic bead in my hand, "is an emergency container containing energy to strengthen your barrier. As such, only use this in times of peril."
"Yes," I replied.
"Since we're in here, I can tell you all some forbidden knowledge about the dungeon. Just be sure to make sure it doesn't come back to me. I can't be implicated."
"Of course," I responded.
"I understand," Bella said.
"Yes, ma'am," my daughters said while snapping to attention.
"The dungeon tore parts from various worlds and duplicated them a few times. Through complicated functions, people are separated and traverse the section, fighting the spawned monsters. These spaces come with their own world energy, for you to absorb. The system isn't available in your world, so you'll have to manually collect the energy, which is the function of the imprint. Some areas of the world only have one instance. These locked places couldn't be penetrated by the dungeon, so they were left as-is. The inside is only available once, and, unlike the rest of the world, isn't reset for each person. Since the dungeon's control is weakened there, if multiple people enter at the same time, they will notice each other. Those worlds that were defeated and sealed were once real, and they hold secrets even we don't know. I hope absorbing their energy will help your world. We've been in here for too long. Let's go."
We left the room and walked back up to the castle. When we arrived, the pagers went off.
"I guess it's time," the fairy queen said. "Remember what I told you."
"Yes, I will," I responded.
We were all soon transported to a large courtyard. Hundreds of different monsters were present, and I saw that Craig, Katelin, Noah, and Isaac were all with us in the front row.
"Olga's a few rows back," Craig said, not that I cared.
"Aren't you in charge?" I inquired.
"Now, a level-eight authority direct subordinate of the controller is leading this. It's too large for me to lead. We have almost all of our staff members represented. Victoria will be here soon," Craig continued to explain.
Soon, the night seemed to fall. I, oddly, recognized the skill that was being used. I had used it before as well, as it was the twilight ambush skill!
"Twilight vampire!" I exclaimed aloud, realizing that the skill was used for a far-wider area and greatly impaired everyone else.
"Who can withstand my skill?" a haughty female voice asked.
"I dare to. As a midnight vampire, twilight's skills don't mean much to me," I boasted against this unknown intruder.
"I thought they were all extinguished, except for that busybody Charon."
"He's not that bad," I said, taking out the golden rope.
"You seem to also know him. What's a vampire doing in this dungeon, though? You even have Charon's communication artifact. System, give me his information."
[Authority of command insufficient. Requires declaration]
I didn't know why I heard it, but it seemed like she failed.
"System, I, with my authority, compel the explorer ID of the explorer in front of me. Barring this, I compel his dungeon occupation."
"So, you are an explorer from a world before the Great Catastrophe. How, then, are you a vampire? Maybe, you are trying to rule the world, Mr. Earth01."
I wondered how she got my information. It should have a very high seal placed upon it.
"Meet me in the world. You should know what I'm talking about," she said before disappearing.
"I thought she would appear after that," Craig said confusingly.
I immediately connected to the world and awoke in my room, inside the coffin I deployed. I got back up and returned my casket to its proper place before venturing out to find the unknown vampire.
"You must be here for a meeting," Charon said as he appeared. "Please, follow me."
Charon led me through many paths before we arrived at a conference room different from the one I'd been in before.
"Sorry I couldn't make the last meeting," the intruder vampire said as we walked in.
"No worries," Charon said.
He then introduced us. "Midnight Vampire Roberto, this is Twilight Vampire Victoria."
"Hello," I said before realizing the name sounded familiar.
"You’re the level-eight authority Victoria, the one giving the presentation about the important dungeon event!" I exclaimed, coming to the realization.
"Correct," she said. "I'm glad you came. With time stopped here, we can have a chat."
"What do you want to talk about?" I asked nervously.
"How there is another midnight vampire besides Charon. Your power and stats are weak, but your race is strong, and it will be a long time before you reach the limits of your power. As for me, I've already hit them. For example, my twilight ambush skill into twilight monarch's ambush, which creates a larger, more powerful spell. I mostly use it as my entrance. Since you're a midnight vampire, I'll have the dungeon give you a couple perks. I'm glad to have another vampire to talk to. It gets lonely in the dungeon. It'll be fun once you reach level one hundred."
"Why's that?" I asked as she continued to ramble.
"It's a secret, but my clone is the boss of that floor, which separates the easy floors from the hard floors. I hope you like your perks. I already chose some. Also, the dungeon helped me comprehend 1% of the divine time laws and 2% of the natural laws, so I'll lend it to you it for your research."
She wrote something on a piece of paper in blood and presented it to me. I immediately learned the difficult material, but I only learned 1% of the divine law and 1% of the natural law. The other half I already learned.
"Thank you," I responded.
"No problem. Since you're new to the dungeon, I'll explain the current problem. It begins from time immemorial. I have the authority to explain a little about our dungeon's origins. There was a long, drawn-out war. On the opposing army's side, there were seventy-two immeasurably strong hellfire demons and an animosity demon. We were unable to kill them, so we had to devise a method to trap them. The seventy-two demons had different ranks, similar to royalty. At the top were the kings. The weakest king, Balam, is who escaped. We trapped all seventy-two in the dungeon, in an eternal trap that should never have been able to be opened by anyone who isn't a devil. The demons also shouldn't have been able to acknowledge a master who is not a devil. It's a perplexing matter how the king was freed, but we must recapture them."
"How do you know the king escaped?" I asked.
"Easy. The king knows of many things, but he doesn't know how we trapped him. As such, once he escaped, we were alerted. Luckily, the other kings are still sealed. We protect them with a special method. Back to my explanation, after trapping them, we were able to achieve some victory in the war. Neither side was completely killed, but we all went into the dungeon to recuperate. Many are no longer the original generations, like the controller and me. They still carry the same duties and memory, mostly trapped forever in the dungeon, unable to leave."
My first thought was what the queen previously mentioned. Much more of the dungeon made sense now.
"Let's return," she said. I followed her lead, and, when I returned, I suddenly had the rewards in my hand. Her clone was concluding her speech at that time. She used her skill again, switched places with her clone, and thanked us for coming.
"Now, please remember not to involve explorers who aren't suspects. Suspicion isn't enough to confront them. Goodbye, and thank you,"
I received my rewards soon after.

The skills and spell were useful in battle, and I was glad to have them. At first, I was confused with how she can have midnight-level skills. Soon, she messaged me.
"There's some random vampire skills I had the dungeon give you. I hope they're helpful," the message said.
Also, my strength increased by fifty and wisdom by twenty-five.
Craig called over the fairy queen and my family.
"Respected guests, if you find anything, please let the fairy queen know. Do not confront the king as he is too strong. We'll respond immediately, so thank you for your help. Here's a small compensation for this," Craig said.
"Good luck," the fairy queen added before Craig left.
Bella also seemed relieved.
"It's okay, Bella. The meeting's over, so you can relax."
"Thank you, Husband," she said. "I'm glad I'm with you guys right now. I don't like being around so many people."
"If you need to, you can always go to Persephone," I reminded her.
"Yeah. Thanks. I'm glad to be with you," she said, hugging me.
Returning her embrace, I responded, "I'm glad to be with you as well. I love you."
"I love you, too," she said as we shared a kiss. That seemed to calm her down, so I was glad. I was truly glad to be together, as well. With the craziness of my new world, the uncertainty of my races, the dungeon crawl, and the incoming great catastrophe that could occur at any moment, she was my rock that kept me anchored, and I knew I could discuss with and tell her anything.
