-Mora’s POV-
As the group got ready to move out into the forest to find the other team Mota noticed that a good amount of them looked displeased.
“What's the matter you all seem down in the dumps?”
The other teachers not including Dhokkut looked at each other and sighed.
“Look Mora i'm sorry to disappoint you but this match has already been decided.” said Harley
Looking confused the librarian cut in
“You see Mora the teams that were formed are not exactly even…...well let's just form the party and get this over with then.”
After he said that a box appeared in front of my vision saying
Ethan Read has invited you to a party
Accept invitation
Yes/No
Clicking yes I see that the rest of the teacher have joined as well with me being the last.
Ok with that let's see how we stack up to see if we even have a chance to show off our skills to the students “Team stats”
After saying that a chart appeared in front of every teacher's face.
Bialaer Venven
Lvl 39
Suzu Nips
Lvl 25
Ethan Read
Lvl 31
Lily Elliott
Lvl 40
Harley Anderson
Lvl 26
Dhokkut Oreriver
Lvl 37
Mora Therris
Lvl 55
After looking at everyone's stats the teachers all turned to me wided eyed
“What the hell are you to be over lvl 50!?”
“Is that high?” I asked
“Is That HIGH!” the librarian exclaimed “Listen Mora the average person is able to get to lvl 20 in their lifetime a person who becomes a knight will gain about 10 more levels than them and adventures might gain another 10 if they are lucky!”
“So the highest people can be in the 30-40s?” I said
“The people you will usually meet are in those ranges but to most people you are a walking disaster! The highest lvl i've ever seen was a lvl 65 flame drake and it destroyed a large portion on a local kingdom before it was overwhelmed by sheer numbers of adventures and knights!”

Hearing this Dhokkut laughed, as the other teachers looked at him he wiped away is tears and explained.
“You people are looking at him like he is from the human race, if i remember correctly you guys haven't even traveled to the far north that is frozen over.“I've seen frost wrath that would make that fire drake have second thoughts of coming near so the races up north have to have higher lvls to survive.”
With that statement the leave surrounding us seemed to move.
“Well it seems like we talked to much and they have made their move already.”

Mistbound: Eternity
The world is said to be formed out of duality of man. Good and evil, right and wrong, light and dark. And with duality, comes conflict. A meaningless clash of ideals results in pointless wars. Azlan is wanderer who doesn't falls in either category. Tired and done with the redundant world, he lives his secluded life, hunting monstrosites for coin in the crumbling province of Mountaliya, situated in the land of Forsa. The premise follows Azlan as he explores the province, experiencing the culture and its people as they try to stand unshaken amidst a cold and unforgiving world. The story is a dark fantasy that is a balance of action and world building but most importantly, it follows the people going about their daily lives. The world has entered a state of stasis, there are no high stakes, no glory to be had, only a decaying realm of ice remains. Everyone awaits for Heaven's descent, an event prophesied to bring the world out of stasis, by granting the champion of the event a wish. Heaven Shall Descend. I wanted to write a high fantasy story that doesn't focuses too much on Magic and Swordfights, but rather interactions between people, a bit of politics and ideals. This is my first attempt at writing something this huge, please let me know if you see mistakes or any problems in general, so I can learn from them. (The cover picture is from the year 1818, "Wanderer Above the Mist" by Caspar David Friedrich). I also write Short stories set in the same shared universe. You can read them here: Dark Fantasy Short Stories.

"Looking at the sunset behind me, I realize something. There is a long red trail following me. Sitting on the surface of the ocean, following the small waves and darkened by the twilight sky. "That's my blood, that is a lot of my blood," I say aloud. As if I didn't have enough to worry about already. Now I need to make sure I don't die from blood loss. I need something to stop the bleeding. With nothing better to use, I rip off my sleeve and use it as a bandage. It will help a little but without anything to disinfect the area, I'm at risk of it turning really ugly. I will just have to work with what I have for now. Shore can't be that far away. The island of Kheran is fairly close to the mainland. I've already been out here a while, drifting in the right direction. I estimate to be out of here by the end of the night. That is, if I don't freeze to death. With the water being as cold as it is, I need to keep kicking and paddling to get my heart rate up." In this thrilling, first-person narrative, a defected soldier finds himself adrift in a dire, life-or-death situation. With missing memories and few guesses as to how he got here, his lif quickly becomes a game of survival. Follow his journey through this exhilarating heart-pounder, with fluidly woven descriptions and page-turning surprises. With room for the imagination to bound with unpredictable twists and turns, this realistic science fantasy novel will have pages turning until the end. Patreon page: The Bringer

People have always thought that the undead would come from hell - that they would rise from their graves to bring their torments upon the earth. They never thought that they would come from the heavens instead and rain upon the world like divine judgment. Ten years had passed since that day. Evan had thought that he had seen all there is to see. What remained of civilized society couldn't recover. Millions of zombies wandered in every city, and thousands more roam the countryside. Every day was a struggle to survive just as it had always been. He, as well as most of the survivors that remained on earth, had resigned themselves to a life of wandering until their deaths. Their last hope was news of an underground settlement being constructed to the far west, outside the eyes of the wandering and falling undead. But then they encounter a girl who had survived in the middle of a heavily-infested city. She claims that she knows of a way to end the apocalypse once and for all. What should he and his group do?

You always were something else, weren't you? Those eyes, too brown for your own good, and that old jacket that you loved to death - falling apart, but you didn't care.Looking at it now, I suppose it was inevitable. That it would always end up like this - you, in a hospital bed, and me, on the outside.Note: This is a work that has previously been posted on AO3, so if you follow me over there, it might look familiar!
