Los tres muchachos finalmente terminaron de cocinar la comida y se preparaban para comerla en la cubierta, había sido un día largo y otra noche estaba por llegar.
El capitán dispuso una mesa grande, sobre la cual fueron colocadas las ollas con la comida preparada, para que los marineros se acercaran con sus platos a recoger su porción.
Los grumetes estaban del otro lado de la mesa, sirviendo a los marineros hambrientos por un día de navegación.
La mayoría de marineros estaban bastante nerviosos, porque la noche se acercaba, así que una buena comida como una última cena, siempre ayudaba a mantener los nervios un poco más bajos.
Lucas ya sabía que no iba a pasar absolutamente nada y de hecho se lo había dicho al capitán para obtener un poco más de cercanía con él, su estrategia de supervivencia había cambiado de alejarse de todos los problemas, a ser útil e indispensable para la supervivencia del barco.
Ahora el temor de Lucas eran todos los marineros a bordo, afectados por el encuentro de las sirenas, por lo que desde su punto de vista, pegarse como un parásito a Wiliam y a Ron, que no fueron afectados, era la mejor opción para sobrevivir.
Pero por desgracia de los marineros, el capitán decidió aprovechar la información dada por Lucas, para fingir una falsa victoria sobre las sirenas esta noche y de esta forma levantar un poco la moral de los tripulantes.
Finalmente, los tres grumetes comenzaron a repartir la comida, por suerte para ellos, todos los marineros estaban drogados por las barras, así que solo había sonrisas entre la tripulación.
Incluso cuando Lucas sin querer derramó parte de la comida encima de uno de los marineros, mientras le servía, el marinero únicamente se rió y le dio ánimos para que siga intentando dominar el mundo de los hombres de una mano.

Sin disturbios, la comida se terminó sirviendo rápidamente, y finalmente era el turno para que los tres cocineros probaran su propia comida.
"Tardamos bastante haciendo esta comida esta vez, pero parece que valió la pena, se los ve a todos más contentos que de costumbre, prácticamente todos repitieron sus porciones" Dijo Lucas, algo cansado por el largo día.
"Ja, ja, ja, la verdad es que costó mucho, sobre todo preparar los ingredientes, prácticamente comencé a cocinar cuando me despertaron en la cubierta" Dijo Ricardo, muy orgulloso de la escena que tenía al frente de él.
Ricardo se sirvió su porción y la comió con deleite, mientras murmuraba: "Finalmente, una comida digna de un noble"
Taras con mucho cansancio también se sirvió su porción, mientras murmuraba para sí mismo "Esta vez, sí que vas a ganar una buena fortuna con este viaje"
Finalmente, fue el turno de Lucas y con gusto se sirvió su porción, aunque le costaba un poco, después de servirle a tantos marineros fue obteniendo la técnica, realmente la comida de hoy olía bastante bien pensó Lucas mientras se servía
Con una cuchara temblorosa por la falta de costumbre, Lucas después de mucho trabajo pudo probar la comida que habían hecho.
*Coff* ... *Coff* después de probarla Lucas empezó a toser como un loco.
"Que pasa Lucas, no te gusto la comida?" Pregunto Taras.
*Coff* ... "Todo lo contrario, esta cosa está buenísima" Dijo Lucas tirándose todo el plato a la boca y tragándoselo de un trago
*Coff* ... *Coff*
"Mierda, creo que me está empezando a afectar la barra" Dijo Lucas agarrados la panza con una mano
"Ricardo guarda las sobras en la cocina y no dejes que estos bastardos la coman" Dijo Lucas corriendo al interior del barco como si la urgencia le ganara.
"Ja, ja, ja ... No sé por qué me río, si voy a estar igual esta noche" Maldijo Ricardo mientras se reía al ver la escena.
