Los marineros se encontraban en la cubierta, pero solo unos pocos estaban trabajando, la mayoría solo estaba sentado conversando, tratando de hablar con los otros supervivientes para que las desapariciones de sus amigos se volvieran menos dolorosas.
Pero el simple vacío en el barco, les recordaba su dolor... aún peor sus temores de ser los siguientes en desaparecer.
Ron se encontraba saliendo del camarote del capitán un poco borracho. Con pasos tambaleantes se dirigió al timón.
"Y los muchachos siguen mal, Paulo? " Preguntó Ron en una voz algo ahogada.
"Mejor ..." Dijo Paulo mientras masticaba un alga "... las olas del mar poco a poco arrastran nuestras penas"
"Quieres que te devuelva las cajas, capas te ayuden más que esas drogas de mierda..." Dijo Ron, al ver al timonel masticar un alga con puntos dorados "Capas este será nuestro último día de todas formas..."
"Está bien, no las necesito, hace mucho asumí que estábamos por morir de todas formas, ahora solo espero cruzarme con mis hijas cuando trascienda al mundo espiritual"
"Ja, ja, ja ... Que poca confianza tienes, te recuerdo que siempre salimos con vida …" Dijo Ron, ya sin importarle mucho la poca fe de su amigo.
Ron se puso a mirar a la cubierta a los supervivientes, los pocos que trabajaban eran los que habían pasado por las peores situaciones, si bien no eran los miembros originales muchos estaban cerca de serlo, el resto estaba sentado sobre cajas hablando y tratando de ayudarse entre sí.
Los más jóvenes de vez en cuando armaban un alboroto en la cubierta, pero rápidamente eran reprimidos por los más experimentados, uno de los alborotadores incluso había sido atado al mástil del barco.
"Todavía hay gente con fe ... Todavía hay esperanza" dijo Ron mirando a los pocos que trabajaban
"Por suerte, esta vez no necesitó a tanta gente para salir con vida..."

"¿Hay un plan, acaso...?" Pregunto Paulo, con la curiosidad del hombre que lanza un cerdo al vacío esperando que le crezcan alas y vuele
"Siempre lo hay ... Por eso siempre salimos con vida" Contestó Ron con una sonrisa burlona. "De hecho, eres segunda parte más importante para que este plan funcione"
Paulo se quedó en silencio observando, esperando escuchar cuál era el plan que esta vieja rata marina se había ingeniado.
"Solo tenemos algunas pistas, así que todo puede irse a la mierda esta noche…" Continuó Ron
"Ve a hablar con el capitán y te dirá que hacer..."
"Igual, un hombre de poca fe tiene poco que perder si las cosas salen mal" Dijo mientras la sonrisa en su rostro se hacía más grande.
Acto seguido, Ron bajó a la cubierta para poder darle algunas palabras a sus marineros, sobre todo al joven chico atado en el mástil.
"Estás cómodo, grumete?" Preguntó Ron con la sonrisa de un borracho.
"Suéltame, bastardo!" Grito Ricardo con enojo "Cuantos de estos hijos de puta se quejaron y aun así no los ataron al puto mastín?"
"¡Ni siquiera di tantos problemas como la mayoría de marineros, que están ahí sentados sin hacer nada!"
"Solo por ser el grumete, me tienen que castigar peor que el resto, manga de infelices?!"
"Sí ... Eres un ejemplo para los demás ... ja, ja, ja" río Ron, burlándose descaradamente del joven grumete.
Al ver que Ron asumió el trato injusto con tanta indiferencia, Ricardo se enojó aún más y empezó a insultar a todos en la cubierta, hasta que Ron le puso un trapo en la boca.
*Mmmmmm!!* … *Mmmmmm!!*
Al ver Ricardo seguir insultado con el trapo en la boca, Ron solo empezó a reírse más fuertemente, pero en secreto miraba la herida en la mejilla del joven grumete.
