Kioni's POV

Looks like I died...

Though I wish to spend more time with Saladin...

I just can't pass over and have the thought of Saladin getting harmed or being lonesome in this world.

A lot of time passed and gradually I can see that he doesn't need me anymore...

Two girls that are much more pretty and stronger than me while caring for him much more than I..

Every time I appear again in front of Saladin, time flew by very fast and the next thing I knew... he already may have forgotten about me..

My heart pains every time he tries remembering my name..

There was one moment when he would visit me once and that is at the place where I reside most of the time.

A beautiful garden with lots of flowers and orchids.

He tried communicating to me but his voice doesn't seem to get out.

I was crying as to how this the first time we met again in ages but I couldn't do anything but watch him disappear.

Though before he completely disappears, he gave me one kiss.

That kiss gave me hope and so I continued watching him even if I have to for the rest of his life.

There I was waiting while sitting on the glass chair in the middle of the garden.

Sipping the tea that never runs out while it has the taste of nothing but plain water and mint.

Waiting was the problem as I might pass over before I could realize it.

Sometimes I wonder if it is even alright to keep Saladin in this cruel task to revive me...

I really wanted him to stop and forget about me.. but some of me also wants him to not...

After a large margin of time, I felt like my body is turning lighter as if I'm being forced to pass over.

I cried but eventually I thought of relieving Saladin with the task.

There was actually no chance from the beginning for me an ordinary girl to be with some one so bright in front of every ones eyes.

I though I passed away already, but at that moment my eyes opened again but this time I felt like in my original body.

Rubbing my eyes as I opened it slowly and saw in front of my eyes a younger version of Saladin.

Tears couldn't help but gather in my eyes as I get up and hug Saladin as tight as possible.

I finally am able to reunite with Saladin, and I was really happy.

But the thing that broke my happiness was when Saladin push me away from him and told me

"Who are you supposed to be?" - Saladin

I knew that there would be a drawback when reviving, but this is one of the most cruelest.

My knees shook from the words he told me until I fall down on my knees and was crying loudly while looking at the ceiling.

I felt miserable as to how Saladin completely forgotten me...

Now there is no one in this world except my adopted father to know who I am.

There was a girl with blond hair and some taints of red dyed color in it, started calming me down by patting my shoulder.

Saladin was looking at me with a confused expression.

He then took out something from his bag and it was some sort sheet of cloth and hand it to me while saying that to wipe my tears with it.

Though he doesn't know me, he was still smiling when he hand it over.

I grab hold to it and wiped the tears from my eyes and got up while he helps me by pulling me up.

It has been a while since I used this body but I don't see any sign of difference as if it has been maintained well.

Including my neck which was snapped before but now it was acting like any normal one should be.

Saladin than asked again if he is someone who I should now but then I replied

"Sorry..., I thought you were someone that I knew..." - Me

'I knew this was the wrong choice but I just didn't want him to suffer any more, to who knows what if I try jog his memory' - My thoughts

He then replied

"Oh is that so, if I recall you are called Kioni by someone" - Saladin

'Well at least he knows my name...' - My thoughts

"Yes..., and what might your name be?" - Me

"Saladin Valirus" - Saladin

This brought some old memories when we first time met...

My heart hurts from the thought of how we are completely distant now...

Saladin then introduced the girl beside him saying that her name is Sherah, which I thought was his new girlfriend but I changed my mind when Saladin says that they are together for only certain reasons or else they would be fighting to death by now.

I noticed that the girl I saw while I was with Saladin in my apparition form has stood up and slowly went towards us while limping.

There was something weird and that was the color of the floor which turned completely red and was emitting a crimson hue.

we tried moving out of the circle which was about to activate any second but was too late.

Before the yellow eyed girl was able to enter the crimson hued circle, we were sucked into it which made my mind completely blank and my vision turned pitch black.

After a few moments, my eyes opened again but this time I'm in a place completely different than before.

I thought I was separated with Saladin again but he was with me, sleeping beside me.

Saladin appearance was different... as he was back to someone I knew normally from before.

There was the girl called Sherah who stood up from laying down and was looking around the new area we teleported to.

She then noticed the new appearance of Saladin and pulled out her sword and pointed at him but I stopped her by telling her that it is him and no one else.

Sherah sheathed her sword back to her hilt and dropped the bow she was carrying for a long time in the ground with the remaining arrows she has.

It was night from what I can tell from the moon appearing on the sky while being at its full form.

We were in a sandy area while close to what seemed to be the sea.

The moonlight was turning the water of the sea to be covered in dazzling light.

In the opposite of the sea was a thick stretch of trees with long grasses.

Saladin woke up finally but he said something before he did which made me curious.

"Father..?!" - Saladin

When he waked up, he looked to his left and right while being completely confused as to what happened to him.

He then noticed that his body has aged which made him shocked for a bit.

Sherah asked if he was Saladin which he replied with him answering yes.

His body might have returned due to the teleportation or the reason for finally reviving me.

Saladin then asked Sherah if we are the only ones who are here currently which she nodded to the question.

He then got up and was checking inside his bag until he pulled out two boxes which were neatly packed with a sheet of paper.

Me and Sherah received a box for each one of us and were told to open it.

I did what he asked and found food inside the box which were messed from what seemed to be from constant movement.

He then handed Sherah and me spoons while asking us to eat.

But before I could eat, I offered the food to him which he refused and asked for us to eat instead.

The food was tasty while I couldn't help but drop a single tear for being able to enjoy food once again in this life.

Nyorin's POV

The fight was finally over, is what I can tell from watching...

A hooded person appeared behind Saladin in thin air while carrying a bag.

Later I found out that there was a girl in it which was someone that I know and that was Saladin's dead girlfriend.

After a while, Saladin said something but I couldn't hear as I'm far away and then bright light came appearing on his hand.

The bright light made a gem appear which entered the girl named Kioni and made her live once again.

This kind of made me sad while also hating myself for thinking that as Saladin might not like anyone else except Kioni.

I noticed something strange after Kioni hugged Saladin and that was her getting pushed away which made me confused.

She then started crying while at her knees and Sherah came calming her down.

Saladin gave her a piece of cloth and suddenly I noticed that the circle that they were situated in was turning red.

I tried walking to warn them but was to late as by the time I tried stepping into the circle they got eradicated by a huge dark array which pierced from the circle to the sky.

My knees couldn't do anything but fall down in front of me as debris of rocks covers the whole circle which made me cry out loud.

Saladin was dead.

Thought I can't help but stop that fact go through my head but I can't deny on what my eyes is seeing.

I also noticed that Laura started crying which made me confirm that Saladin and everyone beside him was dead.

My throat and eyes hurt from the crying but it was eventually stopped when laura came beside me while hugging me.

We stayed there at that same spot for a long time while crying slowly from remembering on how Saladin was special to us.

I didn't want to accept it and tried taking out the rocks which covered the circle but was futile as to how heavy it was.

Hercs was shouting out loud while mourning on Oli's dead body which was really dreadful for him and us.

My older sister woke up and was looking dumbfounded at the area which was completely covered with rocks.

She came and asked on what happened which I told her the whole story which made her also grieve while crying at the same time.

Sherah was someone close to my sister and was just lost and so I can feel her depression towards the ruble rocks.

The thing that confirmed that they are dead was the blood flowing through the cracks on the floor which made us freaked out and mourn even more further.

I couldn't think anymore as I can't accept that my loved one is dead.

Oh how I loathed my accursed luck and faith.

I would do anything to be replaced with Saladin.

Its better that I died while having the thought that Saladin would live peacefully with Laura.

After a while of mourning we decided to leave the dungeon as its crumbling down but before I could, I just said one more thing to the area and that was 'thank you for everything' to all the dead people.

There was a portal which indicated the exit of the dungeon which we entered.

After stepping foot out of the portal, I noticed that it was already night and there werelarge amount of adventurer's who were mourning to what seemed to be their dead companions surrounding the portal.

Guards came to us and asked if there were any casualties which I replied by saying 'yes, there were... six dead ones...'.

They gave their honest condolence and explained on how the dungeon portal acted strange while two hoax guards were maybe the reason to it.

I didn't want to hear anything today as I'm already in a state of depression from losing someone special to me...

Laura was leaning on to my shoulder as we walk towards the house of Muzaik to tell his family about the dreaded news.

Hercs gave his farewell and wanted to meet with us tomorrow so that we can think carefully as to what happened in the dungeon.

This left us with me, Laura and my sister.

After sometime, we were in front of Muzaik house.

I knocked the door and Clarin opened it while having a happy face but died out after she looked for her husband but was not their while looking at our appearance which made her break into tears.

Muzaik's son Jentun came running and was fallen to grief after hearing out what happened to us.

He let us in before we could tell on what happened in the dungeon.

They were feeling miserable while crying at the same time.

With their showing of tears, it made me also cry with Laura and my sister.

This was the worst day in my life and was similar to how my second oldest sister died but worser.

Even if Saladin died, I would never forget about him though I wanted to always know on what his true feeling were to me..

Looks like the promise has been broken as Saladin died before it has a chance of happening...

Every now a then I would remember some moments when I was beside Saladin in bed...

Laura was having it even worser than I am as she holds into me while crying loudly.

Saladin without you, this is our state right now..

Saladin's POV

It looks like I'm in a another dream but this time I was in front of a girl around the age 20's.

She was good looking while having her hair short and being black colored.

Her eyes were colored purple which made me confused as I remember that only Dwarmura individuals were able to have those.

She was wearing plain white one pieced dress while standing and playing with her hair until she noticed my presence.

The girl then says

"Oh, so this is how you looked like... quite handsome is what I can say"

I then asked

"What is it that you want and who are you?"

She then chuckled which made me confused and then she said

"I can't answer that, or else it would cause some problem" - Her

"At least tell your name" - Me

She then smiled then said

"No can do" - Her

"So the what is it you want with me" - Me

Her expression turned serious then she said

"I just want to tell you something" - her

I then replied

"And what is that?" - Me

"Please take good care of the ones you will fell in love with, and I don't know what dimension is this, but make sure that you don't succumb to your power." - Her

"Wait... take care of my lover.. and ...succumb... power, what do you mea-?" - Me

Before I could ask my question she interrupted my words and then said

"Well your time has ran out" - Her

"BUT WAI-" - Me

I tried speaking but she stopped my mouth by placing a cloth in it and then said

"Well goodbye father" - Her

My mind gone hazy and then I waked up with a shocked expression.
