Anyhow, thank you for choosing this chapter to read and I hope you do so :D

This chapter will mark the last for the dungeon ark while keeping the Nyorin ark still at bay.

Saladin's POV

Fear is the only thing my body felt.

One right glowing eye which is colored white with bandages covering its head completely.

Body structure almost similar to any human but was covered with an armor made of bones while a crack is left in the middle of its torso showing a face of a lady screaming and agonizing in frozen position.

The armor its wearing was made by compiling bones and melding them together with other by iron and then dyed with color black.

It has only one arm which is on its left carrying some sort of book.

The creatures legs are of any human being but was covered with some sort of armored leggings colored in pitch black.

It has wings long enough to cover seven men while also having claw like hands on them which carries in each wing a spear made of steel.

Each spear has a corrupted look on it while emits black hue immensely.

It has a tail which is similar to any lizard but this time it is covered with spikes and scales that are similar to a dragon.

Its head was tilting to its left while it started flying up and look down on us.

The creature then spoke

"Inferior hatchlings, dare to enter my domain and disturb me who is named Orstrokix the sinned" - Orstrokix

I couldn't move from all the pressure which is making me stuck in the ground helplessly and only able to watch my demise.

Muzaik shouted a war cry out loud which made everyone in the group including me able to move again and overcome this strong pressure.

Orstrokix the creature was laughing on how we are able to move.

It then started chanting saying 'Death goddess, owner of the withering flowers, throw thee wickedness even further down the astray path and grant thee your loyal servant your magic'.

The creature knew magic chanting while reciting some sort of passage to a dark goddess which made black hue orbs started appearing everywhere.

Eerie noises were coming out from each orb.

It then pointed towards us with its hands while raising its arm and then the black orbs came towards us at a fast speed.

Muzaik came in front of us while telling us to spread out.

Black orbs were getting deflected by Muzaik's sword which was created by him conjuring it with magic.

It was different then his previous sword he used as this time it was completely made of golden hue.

He couldn't deflect all of it and so some of it came hitting on us.

We barely managed to dodge the attack, but not all individuals were able to do so.

Jouv arm was touched by a small black orb and was immediately destroyed completely leaving him with only one arm only.

One touch on the black orbs, and it will make anything perish into nothing but dust.

He (Jouv) was agonizing and kneeling at the ground while dropping his trident on the ground.

Oli was running towards Jouv while still dispersing black orbs with her light magic coming out from her wand.

Nyorin was heading towards the creature while Laura was chanting and clasping both her hands while tilting her head down a little.

I was defending Laura from the black orbs with my long sword which I enchanted with blue fire.

After Laura was done chanting, a frozen one headed hydra appeared out of the ground and charged while opening its mouth towards the creature like some sort of javelin.

As the monster was about to get bitten by the large hydra, it vanished completely and reappeared in front of the wounded Jouv who was barely standing.

The speed it showed was completely abnormal.

Oli was beside Jouv who was trying to fend of the creature with her magic but was pushed by Jouv causing her to fly a little bit to the side as an attempt to save her.

"Sorry, but you must live cousin..." - Jouv

He then pulled out his dagger and jumped towards the creatures body while holding the dagger with both of his hands, attempting a stab on Orstrokix.

Though he tried but was immediately killed by the spear from both of Orstrokix wings piercing his body in the head and his heart.

Oli was in the ground as she was pushed by Jouv, she the raised her head while opening one of her eyes.

She was shocked from what she witnessed in front of her eyes.

Tears were flowing down her eyes as she screams out Jouv's name.

Jouv body turned pale completely and withered to nothing but dust.

Oli eyes became lifeless as she watches the specks of dust fall down from the spear and flow through her face because of the wind.

Arrows came raining on the creature but was all destroyed by black orbs from what Orstrokix created.

Sherah was the one who fired those arrows while her face was making an expression of annoyance and hatred.

Yurnixa was beside her holding out her necklace as some sort of talisman to protect them from harms way.

I came charging with my long sword towards the creature with anger while I was accompanied with Muzaik and Nyorin.

The creature then was going to stab Oli who was in a depressed state from losing someone.

Luckily Hercs came quickly and grabbed Oli which made both of them avoid the spear that could lose her life if touched.

He then carried her away from the creature while Oli was still in a saddened state while crying at the same time.

We finally reached behind the creature but it quickly vanished again and came behind us before we are able to do any sort of movement.

It was going to stab us with its spear, but it was blocked by Muzaik sword.

I didn't hesitate and used Muzaik's back as a trampoline for me to jump upwards while my long sword was preparing to swing as I move my direction towards Orstrokix head.

The monster dropped the book it was carrying and used his free hand to clutch my throat and suspended me in air.

I dropped my long sword and quickly used both of my hands to try freeing myself from him choking me to death.

His strength is unbelievable as I can't even make his hands budge a bit.

My consciousness is dropping slowly... as I can't breath from the clutching of the monster...

I noticed that the monster freed me from the clutches and was agonizing from something.

My body dropped to the ground and I quickly inhaled air and was touching my throat to check if something happened to it.

Though there was blood in my throat, I didn't feel any major wound.

The monster then spoke saying

"Insolent vermins!" - Orstrokix

I checked on what caused the monster to free me and it was Muzaik and Nyorin chopping the tail of Orstrokix.

My long sword was beside me and so I grabbed it and gone to stab the creature while it was agonizing.

Chanting was said through Laura's voice and quickly a huge barrage of icicle spears came flying towards the creature which didn't damage it that much.

Sherah shot an arrow which pierced one of the claws of the creature making it drop one of its spears.

I jumped and tried Slashing the creature but my sword immediately breaks from hitting its armor which made the blade of my sword flew away and left me with a half bladed sword.

To break my fall from jumping, I rolled in the ground.

The creature stopped agonizing and Its eyes turned bright red while emitting large signs of dark energy.

It saw its book in the ground which I tried grabbing before it does but was to slow as it has speed that is imaginable.

Orstrokix grabbed hold to its book and quickly opened it and started chanting something.

The creatures head was shot by an arrow that came from Sherah but it just gone through its head as if it was just an empty space.

Nyorin and Muzaik tried to strike the creature while it was chanting but quickly felt their death if they had gone any closer to Orstrokix.

Both of them backed away from the creature and quickly made a defence stance with their sword as if they were thinking that some kind of attack would hit them.

Orstrokix was chanting 'Oh goddess of death, hear me out and grant me power and in return I'll give all this heathen souls to you my lady'.

The book of Orstrokix turned to a gem which was emitting large amount of dark energy which made everyone shiver to their spine while causing a large sense of anxiety to us.

I didn't have any other weapon and so I grabbed the spear the creature dropped and hold into it which made my left hand show a black/dark mark with a withering dead flower patterned on to it.

Hercs was shooting bolts at the creature with his crossbow after he placed Oli inside the barrier Yurnixa created via her necklace.

The bolts didn't do anything as each one of it was deflected by the creatures armor.

Orstrokix destroyed the gem with its hand causing its body to be engulfed by a dark sinister hue.

I was going straight to it while recklessly pointing my spear towards it.

As I was going to lunge the spear towards the face on its torso, it disappeared and reappeared behind Nyorin.

I screamed telling Nyorin to watch out but it was futile as she was sent flying from the creatures arm hitting her.

Blood came out from Nyorin's mouth before she flew from Orstrokix strong brute force.

Though she was caught by laura's ice magic which she made some sort of large hand.

Immediately Nyorin was getting healed by Laura's magic but it was not happening as Laura was running out of magic.

I took out one of the healing scrolls from my bag which I bought before and threw it towards Nyorin and told her to read it.

It was my mistake to be distracted while in battle to aid Nyorin, as the creature was right behind me preparing its only last spear to pierce me.

Though I was saved by Muzaik protecting me with his shield he made from accumulating his aura.

I quickly gone around Muzaik and pierced Orstrokix claw in his wings which made it dissolve to dust immediately.

The creature agonizes but quickly vanished, it then reappeared in front of Yurnixa's barrier and broke it immediately by its hands that is covered with dark energy.

He was too fast for everyone to react and quickly bashed away Sherah & Hercs with its wings causing them to fly little but quickly hitted the ground and started rolling until they stopped.

I came running towards them with all the energy I can accumulate.

It then was going to stab Yurnixa with its hand which made her frozen still while shaking with anxiety and fear.

As the creature was going to stab her, she was pushed by Oli and instead of Yurnixa getting stabbed, Oli was the one instead.

Blood came gushing out her mouth, while the monster removes his hands from Oli's stomach area.

Yurnixa was shocked on what just happened and then screamed loudly with fear indicating in the tone.

I was too late..., as I approach the still breathing Oli who was coughing blood.

After the monster placed the blood he gotten in the mouth of the lady on its torso, it disappeared again and this time came fighting Muzaik with its new boost in power from the blood it just received.

It thought that we were weaklings and the only one who was a threat to it was Muzaik.

I approach Oli and then I bend down while holding onto her wrist to check if she was still alive.

Though there is a hole in her stomach, she was still alive but I think it will not last for long....

She then opened her eyes slightly and looked towards me with her blurry eyes,

Oli made a smile and then she said after she coughs blood

"Hercs... is that you..., I'm sorry... I couldn't fulfill the promise with us being together..." - Oli

I just remained silent while I try looking for another healing scroll but their was no luck as I have no more.

"Jouv passed away before me..., looks like I'm going to meet him... but" - Oli

Oli then holds on my hands tightly then said

"I don't want to die..." = Oli

"Jouv... I wanted... to grow old and die with you happily..." - Oli

Tears started gathering on my eyes and fall down to her hands as I hear her words.

"Don't cry... as I'll still be with you not in person... but... as... someone.. ne-" - Oli

She couldn't finish her last words as she passed away while her eyes closed with tears flowing down...

I don't know her very well but I could not stop but feel bitterness and sadness from what she said...

This made me remember someone but my memories are really hazy and couldn't recall.

I then wiped the tear on her and then I stood up.

Hercs was unconscious while laying in the ground badly while being badly hurt from the creatures attack.

Sherah was okay but unable to move from the damage she received.

My anger for the creature was burning in me while I felt guilt from inviting everyone to this dungeon for my selfish needs.

Muzaik was fighting using a shield on his left and a sword on his right made out of aura materialization.

Though the creature was able to avoid each of the swings dealt by Muzaik.

Orstokix used its black orbs to try damaging Muzaik but was futile as it was all stopped by Muzaik's sword deflecting them.

The monster took out the wraps from its head, which revealed a large mouth with lots of sharp teethes in them while having one glowing red eye.

Orstrokix torso with the face of a lady in it started screaming a loud voice.

This made Muzaik flinch from the scream which gave enough time for the creature to bury its fangs on the shoulder of Muzaik causing a huge chunk of his body to be ripped out.

Muzaik didn't agonize but instead he used his sword to stab the creature's head.

It went throught piercing the head of Orstrokix but didn't killed it.

Everyone who was knocked away by the creature slowly stood up except for Hercs and was looking at the battle while their body tremble from the attack they received.

Nyorin was exhausted after she recited the scroll to heal her body and so was laying down with Laura.

Both of them are unable to fight anymore as they ran out of energy or aura already.

I came charging towards the creature before he could move but was too late as its hands burrowed threw Muzaik's chest and pulled out his heart while crushing it after everyone got a good glimpse of it

This made me stop and halt while falling to my knees as I process on what just happened.

Memories about Muzaik came flying towards my brain

'Kid, If you ever needed parents then just call me, as I'm glad to threat you as my son' - Muzaik before in the past

'Ho ho you seemed to have made Nyorin fell for you... good luck with her...'

'Life is nothing but a test for the next one, and so live everyday to your fullest... but don't copy me'

'Saladin your a good kid and so stand tall!'

'Just one more round... just a little bit of sip on this finely made wine..'

'I wonder how will you and Nyorin look like in the future'

'If only the sun was stuck in place on the horizon... it would be a beautiful place to drink some good wine and beer'

Tears started flowing through my eyes as I recall all the moments I had with him who was like a father to me...

It might not affect anyone but for me this is like watching your parent get killed in front of you.

Muzaik looked at me before he died and smiled while saying 'Stay well and protect Nyorin...'

After the creature destroyed his heart, I expect for him to die immediately but he didn't as Muzaik grabbed out a paper from his pocket and looked at it with his face covering with tears.

He then hold into the arm of the monster, and exploded himself causing the monsters arm to be ripped of and one of its wings to be annihilated.

Muzaik's body turned to a pale which looked like he was only having bones after the magic he pulled out before he died...

The paper came flowing towards me, and I grabbed it and looked at the last thing that Muzaik eyes saw and that was his family...

It was his family drawn in it which resembled them nicely while there are words written there saying

'Dad, good luck! by your son Jentun'

'Love you dear, and please live for my and your son sake by your wife Clarin'

I couldn't do anything but cry at what was written on the paper.

'this wouldn't have happened if this creature didn't appear...' - My thoughts

Its been a while since I had this feeling..., last time I remember having this was when I fought Merdrek and maybe before also...

My eyes glow with purple hue, the dead flower mark on my right hand has reached from my hand to my shoulder while glowing in a dark sinister hue.

The spear I'm wielding has turned from dark hue to a violet bright one.

My body felt light weighted, and I could feel energy coarse through my veins...

The creature was munching on the remains of Muzaik body but quickly back away from feeling my pressure from me activating the Empower ability.

The pattern in my right arm were really beautiful in a horrid way as it shows flowers withering, thorns of roses and tears of some sort of goddess flowing down.

My mind was blank and the only thing I could think about was Orstrokix getting killed.

I was engulfed by violet hue and was walking slowly towards the frozen in place creature.

Everyone watches me walk towards Orstrokix.

I then used the ground to propel me towards the creature.

It tried hitting me with its remaining wing but it was destroyed by my spear.

Orstrokix then used the face on its torso to scream in an attempt to distract me but was also useless as I couldn't hear anything but the beating of my heart.

The creature was already hurt from Muzaik self destructing himself with magic on Ostrokix.

I slashed the creature with my spear which caused some of its body to turn to specks of dust.

It screamed loudly but I didn't care as I kept on repeatedly piercing it.

Though I never used the spear before, after I got this power it felt like I knew how to use it for lots of years as if it is like a extra arm of mine.

Orstrokix was pleading for mercy but I heed not to kill it.

After I turned its head to dust, I did my last strike and that was of me piercing the face on its torso which killed it completely.

Just in case I kept on striking it madly while kicking its body until I see purple blood ooze out.

I was stopped eventually by Sherah touching my shoulder but I shoved her away which ended up with me getting slapped by her.

My trance state has disappeared which made me go down to my knees from being exhausted.

Sherah was also breathing hard from running and using all her stamina while she rub away blood from her mouth flowing down to her chin.

The soul of Orstrokix came and got sucked into my ring which was much more larger than any soul before while being crimson red in color with black hue.

Sherah raised one of her eye brows from witnessing me suck the soul to my ring.

I didn't know how I got that urge again...

Muzaik's dead body is in front of me while being decapitated from the monster eating his body.

Tears still is going down my eyes while I remember on how everyone who died today.

Though... I had the power to revive, I might be able to do it for him.

"Don't even think of that" - ???

A familiar voice came talking to me from behind and when I looked it was the hooded person who I encountered most of the time before.

I didn't know why she/he is here or how did he/she know what I was thinking...

Sherah pulled out her sword and was pointing at the neck of the hooded individual.

I told Sherah to not hurt him/her as she/he is not going to harm us.

The hooded person was carrying a huge bag that has the figure of a person in it.

Afterwards he/she opened the bag and revealed a person inside it which was a girl with brown hair made into a braid.

He/she grabbed the body out who was wearing a plain dress.

Blue eyes, and freckles on the cheeks.

Having a sleepy face while smiling and giving me a sense nostalgia.

No matter how hard I think, I could not remember on who is this person.

The hooded person than says that this girl is called Kioni which made me surprised but nothing more than that.

He/she then asked me to use the souls I gained to revive her.

I still remember the reason why I came to this dungeon and that was revive a certain someone called Kioni but I didn't know for what reason...?, is she anything special to me anyway?

I then said to her

"Why should I revive her instead of reviving Muzaik, Oli or even Jouv" - Me

Sherah sheathed her sword and just stand still while crossing her arms while hearing out what we are saying with her poker face still active.

The hooded person than said

"Because none of their souls are still intact in the world and your teacher called Muzaik also told me to not revive him" - Hooded person

'...why doesn't he want to get revived' - My thoughts

"This girl is someone really special to you but your memory is gradually fading from getting souls for this specific girl" - Hooded person

'Losing memories and someone special?, who could...' - My thoughts

I swear this hooded person, his/her voice really sounds familiar but I don't know who is it.

"Fine..., so what should I do?" - Me

He/she then told me to ask the ring to revive this specific girl.

I did what she/he asked and something happened to me which made me have a strong head ache as if something was lost and never could be recovered...

Afterwards, large light specks came emitting on my ring and released a gem with bright golden hue which went through the chest of the girl called Kioni.

Kioni's body got a huge shock into her body as if lightning has hit her.

After the shock was over, her eyes slowly opened while she rubs her eyes.

She then saw me and quickly get up from laying down in the ground.

Kioni hugged me really tightly while crying loudly which made me confused completely.

I pushed away her from me and asked her

"Who are you supposed to be?" - me

This made her expression changed completely and quickly became sad as she falls down to her knees while crying even more louder.

I tried asking a question to the hooded person but he/she already vanished.

Sherah came towards the crying girl and tried making her calm down by slowly patting her shoulder.

Kioni was saying out loud 'Why..' while crying

'Am I suppose to know this person?, it looked like she knows me but I don't know her one bit...' - My thoughts
