Saladin POV

Why is Laura grabbing my face!

Did she just... kissed me...

I was just speechless, as I thought in my head that this adorable girl just kissed my lips.

Not only did Nyorin kissed me but also Laura had to.

'If this keeps up... I'll have more than two wives by the time Kioni revives though that will highly not happen...' - My thoughts

My body was frozen still as I hear laura talk with her parents.

Laura was blushing as her parents tease her about me and her being a couple.

'Sigh*... when I wanted girls back in my hometown, they all treated me like a freak but when I don't need one they try to give me one. Speaking of my hometown, I wonder if that group is still bullying like what they did to me...' - My thoughts

It seems I was invited for dinner in Laura parents house which I accepted due to how it would be rude if not to.

If I were my past self who had no experience in girls... this would be a dream come true even though I was actually just talking about myself four months ago.

I wonder if I changed?, really... hard to tell...

Sometimes I'm afraid of changing as it is like erasing my past self which I hated but never the less wanted it to disappear.

Never would I though of looking at girls only at the face and nothing else...

If I'm saying that Laura is not appealing to me, then please to kill me.

'I loved Kioni and that is not going to waver but... how can I say this..., I can't remember her voice... and it seems like I'm slowly forgetting all about her...' - My thoughts

I ate dinner with Laura and her parents while they were making taunting jokes about our relationship.

Leoro became serious and asked me a question after dinner was done.

"Saladin, do you like our daughter?" - Leoro

I already expected him to say that...

Laura face became red as her father says that.

My expression didn't change much but a slight startled one.

I then replied to his inquire

"Certainly she is likable and I got to admit she is very cute while having her own likable traits. It's just that, I had a girlfriend who died not so long ago and I don't really know... if it's alright to move on without considering my past relationship..." - Me

'I'm scared... if I were to love someone again... they might die and I will gain that feeling of depression... this is what you might call a trauma but I really don't if it is' - My thoughts

Laura and her parents were having troubled faces as they say my lifeless eyes as if they had remind me something they shouldn't have.

They apologized to me for speaking about it.

Laura was sad while saying sorry repeatedly towards me.

I just patted her head and told her to not be as it was my fault for being weak.

She was going to say something but I cut her of and told her that I'm returning to the inn.

I exited the house while noticing my bangs of my hair dropped covering my eye which I just moved it back in place as in the past three months, I didn't trimmed my hair.

My mood changed as I was reminded about Kioni.

Laura followed me and was not giving up even when I told her not to.

I then started running in order to lose her but quickly stopped what I did as she stumbled to the ground.

I immediately picked up Laura and asked her if she was okay but she just said in soft words while having teary eyes.

"Though I can't see but I always know where your aura is and will always follow you..., indeed I am nothing special and blind at the same time but I will still not let go go you..." - Laura

She had some scrapes in her knees while her hands where bright red, she didn't whimper but looked at my eyes with her clouded blind eye.

I am not a simple fool to not know what Laura feels about me.

Though I knew how she feels, I still can' reply back as I'm not...

"Laura... I kno-" - Me

"I already know that you will not reply..., but I will not give up until you at least see me as a lady and accept or decline my affection towards you..." - Laura

She made a forced smile while hinting some tears in her eyes, and she left me while heading back to what seems to be her inn.

'Truly I'm a asshole to dismay this girls feelings...' - My thoughts

I decided to head back to the inn but was distracted by having suspicion to a man pulling a string connected to a collar in a women's neck while she follows him wearing nothing but rags.

The woman had a familiar feeling towards her as if I know her very well.

Her long pure white messy hair, beaten up body, age around thirties while leaving slight slip of blood from her feet.

By looking at her purple eyes, I knew who was she and thought to myself

'Mother' - My thoughts

My anger was immense but I kept it in.

I decided to follow them and watch where that man takes her.

It seemed that he was a slave merchant and my mother was kept in some sort of store house.

Before I plan on entering the slave shop, I bought a cloak with a hood and wore it.

I knocked at the Slave merchants house and was opened by a old man with a sinister look.

He had warts and semi bald black hair.

"What do you need in this place lad?" - old man

"I would like to purchase a slave" - Me

"Some one as young as you wants a slave..., very well please follow me" - old man

I followed him through the hallway where lots of cages filled with different types of races, they were cowering while having little bits of clothes to cover them.

They where shivering in the corner and when I pass through them, they all tried their best to get my intention while indicating 'pick me'.

I specifically told which slave I wanted which he brought me towards my mother who is in cage partially half naked.

She was shivering while looking at me with those purple eyes, her appearance up close is not more than her 25's but she is actually much more older due to her long life span.

Her condition was horrible as her eyes had only some specks of being alive.

If you didn't know her name is Caitlan and she was the one who named me Saladin.

"I'll pick this" - Me

"Splendid choice, that would be 6 der-" - old man

Before he could finish his sentence, he was grabbed in the neck by my hands.

I then slowly squished the neck until foam of saliva appears in his mouth and slowly blood also.

He died and was dropped on the ground.

Caitlan's POV

Though I had a nice life back in my place with my parents and sisters, I had to get captured while getting raped by that man.

I was forced into marriage while bearing a child.

Before I could give birth, I tried my best to escape but was futile.

Months past and I gave birth to a child who I called Saladin.

I didn't really cared much of the child as it was the son of the man who ruined my quite peaceful life.

But I wasn't wicked to toss my child away without caring little about him.

A lot of years passed and I watched my offspring grow as a known perverted freak of the town.

My job was to just maintain the house and feed Saladin.

My life turned even more worser as I was captured and my hated family.

We were forced to work in the mines.

The man who raped me died which made me really joyous while having a lot of relief.

My Son seemed to manage to have a girlfriend who was quite kind and gentle.

I tried warning her that my son is a worthless pervert but she didn't listen and still gone out with my son.

An event occur as bandits storm the mines and captured me as a potential slave.

I was sold and transferred each day to a different place while fearing for my life.

Cold, tired and painful as I was locked to different cages every day.

I manage to keep sane in this past hellish three months.

Today I was sold to once again a new slave merchant and I am now in my new cage.

Oh how my life has changed.

My son was kind to me even though I didn't treat him like one.

I really wondered what he is doing right now, maybe he already died in the mines...

By his way of his character, even if he managed to escape, I am sure he will be dumped by that girl called Kioni.

Really cold..., hungry while wishing for food.

The slave merchant seemed to appear with a hooded person while looking at me.

'It looks like I'll be sold...' - My thoughts

Suddenly the hooded person chocked the merchant to death which made me shocked immensely.

He then grab the keys from the dead merchants corpse and opened my cage door.

The hooded person entered and revealed his face which was someone I though, I would never meet.

It was Saladin.

He took out his cloak and told me to wear it which I did.

I tried asking something but my voice didn't each out as it was dry from lack of water.

His face didn't change instead it looked like a younger version of him but this time had a personality filled with seriousness...

He didn't only free me from the cage but everyone else in the place.

Some slaves thanked him, some ran without thanking while some decided to remain.

Afterwards he led me into what seems to be a inn.

There was two girls waiting in front of the inn which made Saladin have a surprised expression.

Both the girls were beautiful and cute at the same time.

They seemed to be friends with Saladin which made me disbelief as he was not capable before.

Saladin asked them what are they doing together some where near here.

The girls replied saying that they met each other and decided to look for Saladin.

Afterwards, both girls looked at me and made a worried expression.

They then asked on who I was and he replied saying that I'm his mother.

Though I really didn't expect him to tell I am his mother as I didn't treat him like that.

I noticed both of the girls expression tensed and decided to help and lead me to a room inside the inn.

They asked Saladin to not enter the room until they say so.

I was given water to drink which I did with haste.

My voice returned which was a relief.

They told me their names which were Nyorin and Laura.

The long black hair is Nyorin and the girl who seemed blind was Laura.

Laura asked kindly if they may remove my clothes to see and heal my wounds.

I nodded.

Both girls stripped me bare and saw my badly conditioned body with lot's of bruises and dirt.

My messy white hair was in bad condition while I have eyes of a woman that didn't sleep for a long time.

Nyorin asked me to lay down in bed which I did.

Laura then started emitting green hue out of her hands and slowly heal my body.

My body felt relief as the pain eases out.

They asked me to take a bath which I did happily.

Nyorin accompanied also and helped me by scrubbing my back which I thought was kind of her.

While she was cleaning her hair with water, I uttered my voice out which has been months and told her

"You and Laura are kind girls, did any one told you that?" - Me

"I'm not usually open to people who I don't know but you're Saladin's mother which I'm happy to help you" - Nyorin

'Saladin... how did he manage to get this girl to befriend him' - My thoughts

I then asked

"It seemed like you and Laura are close to Saladin which made me surprised" - Me

Nyorin face went red a little bit then she said

"I... I am in love with him... and I will still wait until Saladin replies to my confession.." - Nyorin

Hmm in love with Saladin...

After a short seconds, My mind went blank as I recall what she said again.

I stood up from the bathtub and told her

"IN LOVE?!" - Me

She had a surprised reaction to what I said.

Nyorin then said

"Yes, it's true I love him and deeply care about him... and I recently also noticed that Laura has feelings for him also" - Nyorin

I went back down and covered my body in the water while being in the bath then I said

"I don't know what you girls see in a perverted guy like him..." - Me

"Perverted?, he doesn't show any sign of it actually it might be the opposite as I admit that I tried seducing him sometimes but failed..."

'Not a single sign of being perverted?, Is he really Saladin as before he used to even peek on me taking a bath though I'm his mother....' - Me

"His expression did changed and looked much younger than before..." - Me

"I actually witnessed his changes as he slowly became less funnier and as you say perverted" - Nyorin

it seemed like Saladin changed for the better, I think...

I didn't see Saladin's girlfriend, and I don't know if this girls knows.

I'm afraid if I told her, she might become depressed but I really wanted to know.

"I don't see a girl named Kioni beside Saladin, is she somewhere else at the moment." - Me

Nyorin stopped on what she is doing and made a sad face while half closed eyes.

At that moment, I thought I made a mistake.

She then said with a soft saddened voice.

"She died" - Nyorin

I was shocked and felt like my heart is paining as I knew now how Saladin experienced.

It seemed like Saladin's lover died, now I know why he has this changed expression.

I didn't speak anything after that and exited the bathroom but before that dried myself.

They handed me some new pair of clothing which I wore and sat in the bad while thinking about Kioni's death.

I made my hair into a braid and sat and watch Laura brings Saladin inside the room.

He was sitting beside me and I didn't know what to say concerning his loss...

My son then says

"Mother..., what happened to you?" - Saladin

I noticed his concern look upon me which made me hesitate to say but I explained him anyway.

My son had a depressed look when I told him on what happened to me.

After I finished telling him, he then told me about his which made me have slight tears in my eyes by him mentioning about his lovers death.

He basically summarized on what happened to him and all things he encountered.

I didn't know what to say on what he explained.

Then I said to him

"I'm sorry for what happened to Kioni" - Me

'To tell the truth, I really don't know how to speak to him' - My thoughts

He then smiled and said

"Don't worry... about that as I will one day revive her again..." - Saladin

I don't what he means by reviving her but I didn't want to push the subject anymore and decided to change it.

"So, Saladin it seems like you change and is now having two beautiful girls, who would you pick if you had a choice" - Me

I needed to ask this as I wanted to confirm who he will be with.

Nyorin and Laura face became red while they have curiosity in them as they watch and look at Saladin.

Saladin was dumbfounded while having his mouth open a little on what I said.

He then returned to his senses and made a shy looking face.

'Since when is Saladin able to feel embarrassed" - My thought

My son then looked at Laura and Nyorin who were blushing while having some anxiety.

Then he said

"I would pic-" - The author decided to make a cliff hanger for the hype while expecting people to murder him for what he did.
