《Annotated By Sins, Magic Academy》Reboot: Chapter 14

Linda looked around in awe but it wasn’t anything special. The courtyard was a dazzling sea of green with one or two trees on each side, the weeping willows. The villa itself was very common and lacked the finer touches commonly seen in pure mages cities.
The inside was splendidly decorated with offsets of greens and dark greens. Potted plants were deposited here and there to give the whole compound an earthy feel. Less restrictive and more enchanting. The dimmed lights of the faded sun trinkled in through half-tinted lanterns that expel beams of light.
It was pretty amazing what my Knights were able to accomplish within a limited amount of time.
“Are all dorms like this?” Linda spoke with a hint of fanaticism.
I snorted. “This is a common style derived from my father's lands. He prefers to take after easterners in their way of life. Plus a blend of Elven decor.” I swept my hand at the arched corridor. “It is supposed to allow magic to settle more firmly into the room than to escape out. Seems to have worked over the past decade.”
Kicking off my shoes to place them at the entrances door. Linda looked at me before doing the same. Her little tan feet bare to the lush carpet. She wrinkled her toes into the soft grassy-feeling carpet.
“This is amazing.” she muttered, bending down to run her hands through the carpet.
I laughed and walked further in. Coming to a dining room with the same cozy feeling. Couches and chairs position to look out the glass wall at the colorful garden. Tree limbs arched across the ceiling in dazzling blends of green and reds.
It was perfect except the person sitting on my couch that did not belong. The little merchant girl was resting upon the couch with a tea cup in her hand.

“Give me a valid reason not to kill you?” I threatened.
A card appeared in my hand, it was glowing brightly. She stood up, placing the cup down at the same time. Her hands steering clear of her body as she backed away from the couch, in case she had to run for it.
“My guards were over here and the Commander told me I might as well wait for you to come back. I’m not stalking.” She spoke calmly, her eyes showing no dilation that fear would normally depict.
Her nostrils were rising evenly. There was no stiffness in her movements and she seemed all too relaxed. Not the sign of someone afraid of the consequences or guilty of something. Tsk, I liked it better when I didn’t know she was a commoner.
“I’m not in a good mood. So you can show yourself out.” I waved my hand dismissively, heading towards the bedroom.
She crossed the room to fall in behind me. Giving Linda one glanced, before speaking her mind. “I don’t mind sharing your bed, if you allow me to stay. My roommates are filled with women who are less than clean. Not to mention that I might have pissed off a few nobles during the island survival thing.”Upon noticing I wasn’t interested, she continued on. “If sex isn’t your object, then what else can I give you? How about information? I’m sure you know what my necklace means, right? I have the right to bring anybody along as a guest? I can be your introducer into the organization. I promise it would be worth your while.”
I paused, to open a door. Tossing in Linda’s bag before turning to said girl. “This will be your room. It’s empty so you can enjoy it to yourself. Find a guard in dark green if you need anything. I’ll help you start training to be ahead of your class tomorrow. Today, I need to unwind.”

Linda bowed and walked in the room. Catch on that my mind was in a dark place. I glance at the little merchant girl before sighing.
“Follow me.”
She broke into a smile until we made it to my room. I started pulling off my clothes, tossing them onto the couch facing the bed frame.
“You undress as well.” I commanded.
She didn’t hesitate to start unbuttoning her top, but you could see the hesitation in her eyes. She didn’t truly want to spoil her body for protection but I figured she was hiding from something more. And considering that commoners couldn’t bring their guards around, it had to be something she couldn’t face alone.
Which means that her position in the organization she mentioned wasn’t all that high and probably at the lowest levels. Considering her power level and how many guards she was allowed to bring with her.
It was just better to make use of her body and enjoy the limited pleasures it could bring. There would be a day, where I probably miss this feeling.
Kathleen possessed a lean fit body, six pack and definition that was impressive. She had a paler skin and slightly more femine body frame then Linda. Smell better but that was to be expected.
My type.
“I want a contract stating you will protect me and provide basic necessities.” She demanded right away, crossing her arms and shifting her hips to show off more of charm.
“Can we do this after? I’ll even let you negotiate all you want. You ruin my mood right now and it's going to be less mutual.” I spoke softly, crossing my arms and smiling devilishly
Her face shifted many times. I saw it the moment she surrendered to my will.
I pointed at the bed and took out my pulsing communication gem.
“Mr. Skull, we have a mission for you. Forwarding missions details after this message.”
My lips twitched and I still chose to crawl into bed. I was torture for amusement and had to suffer at that sick bastard hands for four and half hours. If I don’t vent half the negative energies, I might really go on a killing spree. Fuck, mission for few hours.
