《Necromancy Domination》Chapter 3 — This is a Town?
Leon has been walking down the dirt path for the past 30 minutes and his feet was beginning to hurt.
"Damn my low endurance."
Leon could have reached the town without getting tired but after he resurrected four sparrows, his fatigue just rose up. Leon was starting to imagine to see an inn on the town with a comfy bed to sleep on, and a good food to eat; his first meal after being transported in this world.
"..."
Leon stopped and on the distance, the town was already visible. Leon was full of relief as he ran into the town in pursuit of eternal bliss — Sleep. He forgot about his fatigue as the adrenaline inside his body went on full throttle once more but he suddenly fell as something pushed him from behind.
Leon realized it was the sparrow. They found something; not humans because it was obvious but danger.
Danger was all the sparrow can tell when the bird merged with him and a vision of the bird gave some insight to the situation.
"What's happened there."
Leon was horrified of the situation. Even though he didn't feel a thing after he saw a corpse of the bird but the town was in a blood bath. Every crook and cranny was either corpses or splattered with blood. It was the first time Leon saw something so gruesome that he actually felt like vomiting.
Even though he was a [Necromancer], he couldn't avoid the fact that his own species was massacred in cold-blood.
Leon felt weak and with his fatigue, it made him lose his strength and caused him to fall down.
In his mind, he ordered the sparrow to navigate the area except for indoors and the birds returned to Leon's body. He realized that all the murdered body was male and that made him wonder.

"Where's the females?"
Leon knew he wouldn't be able to answer it without looking at the town so he ordered three of his sparrows again to navigate 25 kilometers radius of the town and he manned up as he stood up and made a decision. He kept on of his sparrow in his shoulder for later.
"Those sparrows are gonna take a while."
He looked at the sky as the sparrows split up in four directions. He turned towards the town as he decided to find if there was anyone alive that he can ask.
There was also the option of resurrecting a dead corpse but considering his current situation; one more resurrecting and his gonna collapse and according to the status from the skill [Necromancy].
[Necromancy [Lv. 1] - The lost temple will be reclaimed once more and will follow your every bidding. The capture rate will differ from the difficulty of the said corpse.]
"I may die if I'm gonna resurrect something like a human."
Leon muttered as he finally arrived at the entrance of town — [Estofar] was the name put in the entrance. The sight was truly horrifying; it was more horrifying than from what he saw in the vision. The entrance welcomed Leon with a pathway full of blood trails as the guts sticks from the walls and the heads was floating in blood-filled barrels. There were bodies that were split in two and there were bodies that was so disfigured; it can look anything but human.
"The bodies were cleanly split in two. Swords? Wait no, how can a sword be so sharp that it can slice someone with one stroke."
Leon was on the verge of vomiting that he covered his mouth to avoid that; but the more he looked at it, the more it looked like Hell. Eye balls fell out from eye sockets and the bodies split in two has guts slipping out of their bodies. Some has their chin complete destroyed and their limbs hanging on arrows.

"Little sparrow, find someone who may still be alive."
"Kwaaaah!"
The bird jumped from his shoulder and flew around and inside the town's houses. Unfortunately, no one was left alive. He got tired of all the walking and plus the gruesome situation he's in that he actually gave up for the day and walked back a little far away from the town and set camp.
"My only hope were those girls but I need to rest."
After he arrived, he knelt down and vomited his own saliva. He hasn't eaten anything yet, so it's understandable. The sparrow that was with him earlier returned to have berries in his beak as Leon happily accepted and ate all of it.
He fell asleep from exhaustion in the cold grasses.
"Kwaahhh!!"
Leon felt the presence of his sparrow as he woke up with all of his 4 birds; waiting for him to wake up. He stood up as he yawned and rubbed his eyes. He looked at the sun to see it's already sunrise. He's slept for atleast 14 Hours quietly.
Leon looked at the sparrows and nodded as the sparrow flew back inside of Leon on different parts of his body. He felt a shock as he saw the vision one by one; by how that sparrow got the berries, by how the others took flight on a twenty-five kilometer radius.
Nothing saw as strange at first but the last one made him sink his heart. It was a settlement of some sort with huts made from animal hides; there were humans alright, but they weren't the inhabitants. They looked like the livestock as they were hanged like pigs hanged to dry, or they were decapitated piece by piece.
"Most... of them are woman too."
Leon almost vomited again and what he saw next was a humanoid-like creature coming out from a hut. They have green skin with tusk coming out from their mouths up to side of their face. They were atleast 2.5 meters; twice that of humans.
"Hey hey hey!... Aren't they Orcs?"
Leon couldn't believe what he saw. He always imagined a fantasy world where nothing gets too violent for the readers to read but looking at reality...
It was still Survival for the Fittest!

The dialogue, here in the synopsis, probably won't ever be directly spoken in the story; though, it might. I only just finished writing the first chapter, so, we'll see.]

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
