《Metalbound》Chapter 3- Allies

We talked for a while and got to know each other better. Amara was actually a princess from a lost kingdom. The Daemon had assembled an army and wiped out almost all of it's inhabitants and then captured her. The shackles were somehow blocking her power so she was greatly weakened.
The triplets were rare, since imps hardly ever had twins. They were hoping to get an evolution where their bodies fused togther so they constantly had their mind bridge. Somehow the shackles could not block the power from their connection but it blocked all other power.
Lastly was Bella. She barely talked, and I finally understood why. She was from the same kingdom as Amara, but she was the daughter of a peasant maid. Apparently the Daemon had had some "fun" in the kingdom. When the army sieged the kingdom, the Daemon killed Bella's mother right in front of her. He said that "weaklings would all die" and then invited Bella into his army.
Obviously, she resisted and fought back. Then he captured her and forced her to watch the destruction of the kingdom that she called home.
"Now, she gets to be used as a power source for her father to jump dimensions" explained Amara.
"What do you mean, a power source? I heard some of the imps saying that they would be used to power the rift" I asked.
"There is a rumor circulating that the Daemon will use a mass sacrifice blood ritual to temporarily supercharge the rift and allow his army through. That amount of power would have to be massive, and I think that he plans on sacrificing this whole caravan" said Amara.
"What?" I gasped "Surely the imps won't allow him to simply kill them".
"Like I said, it is just a rumor. However, there are some rebellious imps in this caravan. I suspect they are the ones who put you here. They are the ones with the red tatoo on their shoulder" explained Amara.

"Surely he isn't stupid. If he sees those tatoos, he will know they are plotting" I said.
"They tell him that it is a sign of strength. They say that it is earned by defeating a beast with a higher level than you" said Amara.
"How do you know all of this?" I asked Amara.
She displayed her ample chest and pointed at her face.
"I have my ways" she said with a grin.
"How many rebellious imps are there?" I needed to know how many were on our side.
"About half of the imps will fight against him, but he has 4 higher-ups on his side. They are his generals when he is away pillaging. They are at least 10 levels higher than the regular imps and have decent fighting experience" said Amara with a worried expression.
"We do have a suprise for them. He is on the other side of this wall, and he is heavily restrained. He is a very powerful "project" of the scientist. He is a little... wierd though" said Amara.
"Well then, lets get out of these shackes and start a Revolution!"I said with some force behind my words.
Amara snickered. "Melodramatic much?"
