《Metalbound》Chapter 1- Integration- Rewrite

Everything was calm, it was a gorgeous time for night fishing. I had already caught two largemouth bass. A pulse of blue light startled me from my sitting position.
It appeared to cover the entire area I could see, and go farther than that.
Integration complete Preparing Teleport to Motherverse
What the hell was this? The blue light turned into particles that floated down to the ground. Wherever the paritcles touched the ground, little pulses of energy flowed outward. I felt like I had an itch that needed scratching. I instinctually knew what to do. I pulled up my status.

Wow, I was speechless. One of the fish I had just caught was still on the bank. It flopped around and landed in the water. A fish the size of a shark blasted out of the water and swallowed it. "Shit" I yelled and fell down on my ass. It disappeared down into the murky water.
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck, what the hell is happening?"
I ran to my house and grabbed a pistol and my shotgun. I put the pistol in a holster around my waist and I ran over to the pond. I could see the gargantuan fish swimming around and eating the smaller ones. It suddenly stopped and then turned right toward me. It was almost like it was staring me down.
I heard a crackling sound and smelled burning ozone. I turned around and gasped. A rift was popping into existance right behind me.
The rift looked like a bad omen. It was blood red, with wisps of red smoke trailing off of the edges of the vaguely oval shape. I took a deep breath to steel my nerves and then stepped through. It was a hellish landscape, and it was much hotter than Earth's climate. Cracked earth and shriveled trees were all that I could see, except for a path. It appeared well-worn and about wide enough for a cart or a vehicle. I decided to go exploring.

I heard a noise, sounding like hooves. Quickly, I jumped behind a shriveled bush. A caravan of tall, muscular humanoids marched alongside 3 wagons. The wagons appeared to be pulled by oxen, except they were much larger and had black horns. In the front of the wagons, acting as a vanguard was a massive blood-red demon. Everything about him screamed "Get the hell back". He had pitch black horns, hooved feet, leathery wings, and the flaming sword he had at his side.
He had a fucking flaming sword.
I couldn't go back to the rift, they would see me. I started to sweat, unsure of how I would survive.
The huge demonic creature lifted his head and sniffed the air.
"I smell fear" it rumbled.
It turned his head straight towards me and flapped his horrifying bat wings. It flew with surprising grace, considering its size.
It raised his sword, and slashed at me. I ducked and turned around, to try to run.
"You can never escape Death" it cackled.
It hit me on the back with the pommel of his blade. He leered at me from his grotesque face. It had countless scars and it looked like he had been burned alive.
He kicked me on the ground, apparently enjoying it. He raised his blade, and it fell like a guillotine. I raised my arm in a futile attempt to stop it, and it passed through it like a knife through butter. It was instantly cauterized by the flames of his sword. He cackled once more, and then quit playing around.
I laid on the ground, not an ounce of blood on me. My arms were gone at the shoulder, and my legs were missing up to my thigh. He pointed at me and laughed.

"Puny humans. I will kill you all"
He flew back to his spot as the vanguard and left me to die.
My mind was numb from the shock of having all 4 limbs amputated. I slowly slipped unconscious.
*What should we do with him?*
*He could be the perfect test subject*
*Bring him to my lab. I think I have perfected my experiment*
*Which one are you going to test on him?*
*I think I will use the Essence-saturated liquid metal. If it successfully mixes with his body, it should trigger an evolution*
*Won't master know the materials have gone missing?*
*I will say that I used it on myself*
*You have too much rebelliousness. Why can't you just let him take over?*
*He will kill us all anyway. I might as well make something that can take him down with me*
