Competitor on competitor wars were not common in the first few years of the war, save for the pre-emptive strike from the UK and German forces onto Polish lands. Which they eventually pulled back due to a lack of success. Such a result was to be expected since most of them would not fall to such easy and predictable plots so early in the game. That would be an insult to their infamy and the trust that each community had put behind their representatives. Especially not Maksim of Poland who had found early viability with his machine soldiers.

By building up his forces and working closely with his Italian, and Greek allies, Poland launched a ferocious offensive against the other European alliance. First, Poland and Italy cut off the sliver of land that the Germans had conquered to separate the two allies. Greece followed up by reconquering those lands without suffering many losses.

Seeing the aggression, Germany, and France, who both shared borders with an enemy sent out their forces to take on the invasion. The UK could not stand by while its two allies were fighting so Max sent some of his forces to help out. Even including all the preparations that had been spent on fortifying the lands were spent in vain as they were all blown through. In large part due to the robotic forces of Poland pressing them every waking hour of every day. No normal army would be able to withstand an onslaught from an army that did not hurt, did not sleep, did not feel, did not lose motivation, and obeyed every order they were given.

It was only a matter of time. Plus, Maksim was able to peek at all of their movements with his satellites. There was no way for them to win when they did not even know about this development. They just lost 9 out of every 10 engagements without understanding how they were outmaneuvered.

In a matter of months, the robotic corps of Poland had taken over Berlin, Leipzig, Nuremberg, and Munich. The same happened to France, their natural barriers were not of much help aside from stalling. Once Max from the UK saw that he would not be able to do much more, he recalled all of his troops. There was no point in him defending lands that will soon all be lost. Too much of a waste of his resources.

In the eighth year since the start of the war, Ramesses II of Germany and Rajaraja of France had lost the war. Though they had lost, they had one thing left to them before their country turned to dust. The 5 Nuclear missiles given to each country before the start of the war could still be utilized. It may not be able to knock anyone out of the running, but it could still do massive amounts of damage.

Rajaraja of France launched 4 of these missiles at the invading Italian troops. He could have also sent them through the ranks of the invading robotic corps of Poland, but he felt it would be better utilized to take down actual humans. You can repair robots, but you can’t bring humans back to life. Sun Wu’s Italian forces were massively demoralized after this event, but even so, France would not be able to save themselves now. The remaining missile was aimed towards the city of Rome, the city with the highest population in Italy. There was nothing he could’ve done.

The Germans led by Ramesses II decided to use their missiles a bit differently. Instead of going for troops or mass destruction of populated cities, it decided to just launch two and hand the rest over to Max of the UK. Maksim of Poland’s most important bases were not what you would expect. It was something more akin to a technological and engineering marvel underground bunker. Underneath layers of reinforcements. However, it would still have some trouble dealing with 2 nuclear missiles.

The specific location that Ramesses chose was the biggest and most closely guarded secret of Maksim controlling close to 35% of his entire robotic force. Maksim didn’t want to show his hand so quickly, but he was forced to reveal his anti-Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) defense system. If even one of the missiles landed close to where his base was, it could potentially shut everything down. Something he couldn’t risk at the moment.

Although his defense system proved to work, the few minutes where they had to change the equations for it to work at all sure was nail-biting. Now that all of his competitors knew of this fact, he expected most of them to make a move against him, seeing as it was becoming clearer and clearer that he was the likeliest to win.

Max of the UK was now in an extremely precarious situation. His allies had fallen, his enemies were readying their army, navy, and airforce to strike against him. There was not much he could do when he had two allies backing him up, now that he was alone, the odds were stacked against him. With no hope of anyone else lending a hand to him, he could only try to hold out for as long as he could.

In the Americas, something disastrous had been brewing for the psyche of the American people. Ramesses’ continued conquest of the African continent had stirred many of its African American citizens to take to the streets in arms. Centuries of slavery and oppression erupted soon after, joined by many other groups of ethnic people who had similar experiences. It did not take long for the US to devolve into a civil war.

Many fled to Canada, where Suvorov had already made preparations for the mass immigration coming his way. Unbeknownst to all but a handful of people, it was Suvorov who orchestrated the propaganda in the United States. He knew that the longer the simulation ran for, the more powerful Ramesses would inevitably be. That progress would need to be stopped dead in its tracks as fast as possible. There was no way he could take on such a powerful nation head-on, so he decided that this was the best, and least costly way of accomplishing that task.

Faced with such scrutiny and instability on his home turf, Ramesses had no choice but to send part of his forces back from Africa in an attempt to quell the riots. It was unfortunate timing as his forces were just about to begin clashing with Sun Wu’s Italian forces for real. Unsurprisingly, Suvorov had already planned for this and set up a trap for the homecoming forces.

Disaster upon disaster fell upon Suleiman. Nothing seemed to go right for him. He had his suspicions on Suvorov being the mastermind behind all of this. Despite all the madness that had spurred in his country, he took a few days to consider his options. There was so much going wrong that it seemed premeditated.

What could he do?

What he should have done from the start!

Suleiman had the reputation of a god with unparalleled might in the old world. There was nothing he feared because there was nothing to fear. He was a god amongst men, leader of a superpower state! Being in coalitions and having allies simply meant that he was too weak. It was time for him to go back to the old ways of conquering everyone and everything through war. What he had shown thus far was him trying to adapt to the strategies of the new world. But it did not suit him in the least.

What followed soon afterward beggared belief. The United States withdrew all forces. Suleiman had decided to abandon all the various military bases, bunkers, and peacekeeping missions. Now was the time to get everything in order. However, they weren't returning home. They were launching a full-scale invasion of their only ally, Canada.

It was a surprise to Suvorov. Many spies were placed into the ranks of the American army, navy, and air force. None of the informants were aware of this development. Every branch of the armed forces was supposed to arrive on American shores at roughly the same time. However, just an hour before they were to land, Suleiman ordered an invasion of Canada.

The navy was to take out ports while the land invasion through the Canadian-American border was the spear. Many Canadians in positions of power in America were arrested. A few of them were indeed spies, but many more were not. Many of the rank and file questioned why they were going to war with their greatest ally, but Suleiman did not answer, only that they showed no mercy. It was early August when they began. Their swiftness and ferocity left nothing to be desired.

Suvorov did not take any of this lying down. However, with the full might of the American forces breathing down his neck, what could he do? During their time as allies, Suvorov had reinforced a lot of the major cities. Including a few traps. The fighting waged on for months. Vancouver fell in a few weeks, with Toronto and Quebec following suit. Suvorov and even some of Suleiman's men hoped that they would withdraw once winter hit, but no such luck.

The US forces kept pushing in further and further. There were many casualties on both sides. Especially once Canada truly began bearing its fangs. Try as they might, it would only be a matter of time before the inevitable. Around this time was when Canada launched its first nuclear missile. Not aimed at any of the forces, but aimed directly at the District of Columbia (DC).

Following this, a renewal of the American's fervor for fighting injustice. The civil war had calmed down a bit, but with Suvorov's excellent propaganda skills was able to reestablish their fighting spirit. This was meant more as a distraction. What the leader of Canada was after was the rest of its soldiers returning from overseas. Up to this point, Suvorov had put himself at a disadvantage. Civil conscription was put in place for all Canadians. From this point on, the US would have to fight the soldiers and the civilians.

Fighting for your country is one thing, but fighting for the survival of your home is another beast altogether. Even with this development, the Americans slowly advanced. Suvorov had never been forced this far before. Everything that he did was smashed through by Suleiman's superior might. Over the next few years, both sides unleashed their remaining nuclear missiles at each other.

What followed need not be said. Both sides were so weak from fighting each other that any other representative could come and finish them off. While all of this was happening, an interesting development was unfolding in Europe. Max of the UK had managed to repel the advances of Sun Wu and Manstein. However, that all changed when Maksim of Poland joined in. Previously, he had sent his robotics corp to take land from Russia.

What shocked everyone was not that he tipped the tides, but that he turned on his allies first. His allies, Greece and Italy, had sent in most of their forces to win against Max. Never did they expect Maksim to stab them in the back. It was swift, their national defense forces were nowhere near enough. After that, Maksim went on to finally conquer the UK.

Just like that, Maksim had knocked out three contestants in less than a year. He now controlled all of Europe minus Russia. With the two American forces now in a weakened state, Japan and the Soviet Union decided to send in their forces. Since they were allies, they agreed that Muqali would lead his men to finish off the two contestants in North America. Meanwhile, Hideki Tojo would lead his Japanese forces to claim all of the South American nations. It worked out wonderfully as no one else made a move for the time being.

The next movement came from China and India. They had been so quiet since the beginning while everyone else was waging wars. Their two leaders, Herbert Plumer and Turenne, had decided to take on Maksim of Poland. He just was too powerful and held too many surprises. They implored Japan and the Soviet Union to join them. While hesitant at first, they eventually agreed. Only five contestants remained, and 4 of them agreed to take down who they perceived as the most dangerous man alive!
