Baron went back to his HQ after having a chat with Li Guang with many new ideas filling up in his head. There was much work to be done, and many new challenges to be had. They may have all the time in the world, but time was of the essence. Recruiting new people, gathering new talents, consolidating power, and getting recognition from their peers. It was about time that they propelled themselves forward in this world. The name of their newly created faction was called Under 1 Banner, U1B for short, and this was the first step of many to become dominant figures in this war-driven land.

The very first thing that Baron and the gang had to do was to move from their current HQ to the new one that was granted to them for winning the aerial portion of the faction selection tournament. It was extremely likely that the two other new factions created this time around would be Zhang Da Zhi and Qi Ji Guang, both of whom were in cahoots with each other. For now, they were the direct competitors to Baron’s most sought after resources, recruits. He had a head start of a few days, but that was barely enough time to get the word out much less accepting new potential faction members.

The second order of business was to use Guan Yu, and Yue Fei’s influence to attract more people to their new HQ. However, they needed to get their message approved through the intracommunity bulletin network for them to have any form of success, so that’s what they did.

Jaxon Long was still new to all of this so he was sent by Baron to get a few simple tasks done. To start off, he needed to send Lu Mu off as she was only a temporary member of the U1B group. Now that her mission was completed, she was going to go back to the Femme Fatale.

(JL) “Lu Mu, you have been an excellent partner during the time that I knew you. As unfortunate as it is to see you go, I hope that our paths will cross again sometime.” Jaxon Long said to Lu Mu as the two of them were at the door of U1B’s new HQ.

(LM) “Likewise, Jaxon. I’ll keep your secret for now, but you should know it will come out eventually. Even if I don’t do anything about the matter.” Lu Mu said in a friendly tone.

(JL) “Not to worry, I don’t expect this to last anyway. Here, this is the blueprint for one of the aircraft that you showed interest in a while back. This is a token of our time together as allies. I hope you’ll accept this.”

(LM) “You sure? Something like this doesn’t come around too often, you’re just willing to give it to me for free?”

(JL) “Well, I just have one request in exchange for this blueprint.” He said as he whispered into her ears his plan.

(LM) “That is certainly not something that I expected you to say, that is another secret that I must now keep from everyone.”

(JL) “Talents like yours don’t come along often, I hope you’ll accept this blueprint as well as my proposal, hmm?”

(LM) “Yea-yea. I get it. Fine, I’ll do it, but just know that is some ambition that you have there. I’d be careful if I were you.” She said as she took the blueprint from Jaxon’s hands.

(JL) “I assure you, that is the plan. Now, safe travels, Lu Mu. I have a few other errands that I have to take care of.”

(LM) “If everything goes according to your plan, then our paths will cross a bit sooner than I anticipated. See you, Jaxon. May luck be on your side.”

(JL) “No need to worry about me.”

With that, both sides parted ways. Lu Mu returned to her Femme Fatale faction that was currently stifling their activities and Jaxon returned to the Sun Alliance halls to see the end of the sea and land tournaments. There, he also saw Ding Lai Hang waiting for the results as well. The sea battle finished first and it was indeed as expected with Qi Ji Guang of the Imperial Dragon group. Now they were a faction just like Baron’s U1B faction. Jaxon was sent as a ceremonial gesture to congratulate them on their win and future successes.

(JL) “Ah, Qi Ji Guang, I don’t think we’ve met before I am one of the members of the new faction Under 1 Banner of which Baron is the leader of. I come to congratulate you on your decisive victory as well as luck in your future endeavors as a faction leader.”

(QJG) “Interesting, tell your leader that I wish him the same and that we may meet face to face on the battlefield as we have in the past.” Qi Ji Guang responded politely.

(DLH) “Did anything interesting happen?”

(QJG) “Not really, the Steel Junk faction that we were up against in the final battle was just slightly better than average. Pretty good, but not nearly good enough to take me down. A perfect run for me.”

(DLH) “Well, it didn’t go so great for me. Mostly due to this powerhouse right here.” Ding Lai hang said while pointing at Jaxon.

(QJG) “Interesting. How did you manage to-” He started to say but was interrupted by Zhang Da Zhi and his group coming into the room where the 3 of them were.

(DLH) “How did it go?”

(ZDZ) “The results were as we expected, but the power of the Commie faction is something that I’m not sure I would have been able to take on if it weren’t for the 2 blueprints that I got from the Sun Alliance tournaments previously. Who is this?” Zhang Da Zhi said with a clear tone of happiness.

(JL) “I am Jaxon Long, one of Baron’s allies. I have come as a token of goodwill to congratulate on your success.”

(ZDZ) “Mmm, how thoughtful of him. You may leave, Li Guang has some very important things to show us.”

(JL) “Of course.”
