《Warfare's Ultimate Frontier》Chapter 213 End Of Tournament part 2

All four all-stars made their way to their lord, Lian Po. He was a big part of the reason why they were able to become so prominent in this community, these four would do anything for him. As such, once he called, they would have made sure his every order was to be carried out perfectly. It took them merely a few days to get to their master, but their army would require another week until reaching the rendezvous point that Jie Zi Fang had set up. They immediately went to go pay respect to Lian Po the moment that they arrived.
(XF) “Master, apologies for our late arrival.” Xuan Feng had nothing but respect for Lian Po.”
(LP) “Not to worry, you should all know that I don’t really care about such things. I’m just glad that none of you bit the dust, that would be quite embarrassing, hahaha.” Lian Po responded.
(LH) “Master, how is the battle going on so far? Do you even need our help?” Lun Hu asked.
(LP) “I’m not going to lie to you, Lun Hu, I don’t really need you here, but it sure does help. You see, if taking out these fools who stand in our way was the only thing I had to worry about, then I would have let the four of you do whatever you wished for a little while longer. That is not the case though. I need to break through them in two weeks time, and if I can’t take over their capital base within three weeks, the grand stratagem that I and the other Yellow Wang faction leaders thought up would go up in flames.”
(JZF) “We must disappoint you further, Master. Our army numbers roughly half a million, and there are a further half a million still in the process of recovering after that last battle. The advance team will get here in less than a week, but that might be cutting it close if we wish to take care of the enemies before us in such a short timeframe.” Jie Zi Fang said regretting to Lian Po.

(LP) “Not to worry, the four of you here is still a great help in and of itself. To me, the four of you is worth more than half a million men.”
(JY) “Then what do you wish for us to do, Master?” Jiang Yan asked.
(LP) “Haha, isn’t it obvious? What you four were born to do. Xuan Feng, you will take over as my second in command. Jiang Yan, Lun Hu, and Jie Zi Fang you three shall take a detachment of however many men you want and go hunt me some strategists. It doesn’t matter if you three decide to form one team or not, just remember that the more you take out, the better.”
“As you wish, Master.” All four of them shouted at the same time while bowing to show respect. Then, they got up and headed to their stations to prepare for their upcoming tasks. Lun Hu gathered a team of fighters that numbered almost 10,000 strategist fighters and another 15,000 regular soldiers to bulk up their numbers. Jie Zi Fang and Jiang Yan decided to team up and gathered 5,000 elite fighters from their personal armies, along with 40,000 soldiers of varying skill sets and set out alongside Lun Hu. As for Xuan Feng, he followed along with his Master to the place where both of them would take command of over 5 million soldiers.
Once the three fighters of Lian Po’s all-star lineup came out to play, the enemy ranks were so ill-prepared that it was embarrassing. In just the 5 or so hours that Lun Hu, Jiang Yan, and Jie Zi Fang went out to take care of business, they had taken out thousands of enemy strategists alone. By the end of the night, the four of them along with their Master took the time to properly catch up with each other on the events since the start of the tournament. They all drank wine and had a good few laughs before they retired for the night. There was still much to be done before the start of the next day, after all.

The very next day, Lun Hu, Jie Zi Fang, and Jiang Yan continued to hunt for strategists on the front lines, but they were not as successful this time around as the enemy was now prepared for them. However, all the three had to do was to switch up their strategy up a bit and they were once again coming out on top even more than they were yesterday. After a few more days of this, the all-stars’ army finally showed up and they were finally able to show their enemies their true devastating nature. With such a dominating force at Lian Po’s fingertips, he utilized them along with his own army and they were able to secure victory 3 days before their deadline and the multi-million man army headed for their opponents’ capital base.
The capital base was the most important base in all of ones’ territory, this was the place where the command center of an entire territory was stationed, without this base, the territory was as good as taken over. While they marched to the capital base, the 4 all-stars took their own personal armies to go around and conquer all of the other irrelevant bases that dotted the territory that they were in. The four of them were not the only ones to be given this order as over 2 dozen more armies split from the main one with the same task.
If a base was strong enough, they would be able to last a day or two against each one of these armies sent out by Lian Po, but the problem lay with there being too many of them, although they didn’t pose much of a threat to Lian Po’s large army, he would rather be safe than sorry. In this world, that was one of the golden rules.

Berries, Boars, and a Boy (A How to Train Your Dragon Fanfiction) (Snotlout/OC)
"In a lot of ways, Snotlout is very much Spitelout's son," said Freda. Torben did not need to see her face to hear in her voice that she wanted to say more. "One can hardly help but notice," he said when she didn't immediately continue. "But," she added hesitantly. "In more subtle and quiet ways he is much more my son." Torben turned his face toward the sun, the heat of it warming his skin though his world remained dark. "Even without my sight I could see that. Why else do you think I would encourage and allow his frequent visits here." --- He was brash, cocky, and way too self-confident for it to be real but he had gotten her out of the tree. She was older than him, taller than him, and had an annoying habit of seeing through his bluffs but she had stitched him up. What happens when Sigyn and Snotlout strike up an unusual friendship? And what happens when Snotlout goes away to The Edge with the other Dragon Riders and she stays behind? Will their friendship remain intact, fade away, or possibly change into something neither was expecting? Just see if I don't make a Snotlout fan of you by the end. Story told from both Sigyn and Snotlout's POV.
