《Overlord in Cultivation》C165. Level Two of Taoist Door

Su Yan collected blood and sealed it with a jar.
He set his mind at rest. He probably could trade these real dragon blood for sacred medicines!
He also got three real dragon bones and some natural treasures bred by real dragon blood, including valuable rare ores turned from stones with dragon Qi inside.
“These ores are good. I can use them to set a great killing formation.”
Su Yan took everything, especially from Gou Jingming’s team. He gained a lot. There were more than six thousand essence stones.
And a dozen of herbs were the most valuable of all and also the most-needed cultivation resource he wanted.
“Time to cultivate!”
Su Yan immediately ate a five-thousand-year herb. When its vigorous divine power was dissolved, efficacy was passed into his Destiny Spring.
“Boom!”
Su Yan’s Destiny Spring was shining brightly. He was preparing to open the second Sacred Door.
But it needed too many resources to open a Sacred Door. Normally opening a holy-level Taoist Door cost three thousand essence stones, however, Su Yan guessed by the strength of his Destiny Spring that his Sacred Door would require much more than that.
And it only got harder as his cultivation progressed. Su Yan had no idea how many essence stones he needed to open nine Sacred Doors.
The efficacy of the first herb made a corner of Su Yan’s second Sacred Door shown, but still not enough to fully open the door even though it contained tremendous power.
“Damn it. It’s a five-thousand-year herb!”
“My guess was wrong. The first Sacred Door was opened in Toughest Trial, and I didn’t count how many resources it cost.”
Su Yan had a long face. He ate another herb. The essence of two herbs caused the half-opened Sacred Door to roar, as if a small world of ancient relic were about to open.
“It’s troublesome. Each Sacred Door is going to be harder. How many resources it needs for me to open nine Sacred Doors?”
Su Yan wore a sad face. The last few Sacred Doors were bound to cost him loads of resources.
Su Yan gritted his teeth and ate another herb, which made his Qi surge.
His second Sacred Door was finally opened, spreading divine ripples like fierce storms as if a giant volcano were burning.
“Level Two of Taoist Door!”
Su Yan’s Qi increased sharply. Every time when he opened a Sacred Door, his combat effectiveness soared up.
If he opened nine Sacred Doors, his combat effectiveness would surprise the world.
“These herbs should help me upgrade my cultivation to Level four of Taoist Door.”

“Herbs are amazing!”
Su Yan thought that it would take him at least three years to open a new Taoist Door by his speed of absorbing natural essence, but with natural treasures, he saved a lot of cultivation time.
“Right, I almost forgot this stuff.”
Su Yan smiled. He took out the phenix-shaped hairpin. Looking at this space treasure, Su Yan sighed. Zhu Yue was the Lord of Northern Dipper Palace, the most powerful woman in Big Dipper Domain.
“I saved Zhu Yue’s life once, but she gave me many treasures in return. If it’s not a pressing matter, I’d better leave her alone.”
Su Yan opened the space inside phenix-shaped hairpin and took out the planet. It was a lowest-leveled planet, but it had high value.
“It’s very difficult to handle because it cannot be seen in Alkaid. How can I sell it?” Su Yan pondered.
Not far from the scarlet mountain came a powerful and murderous team.
Gou Jingming died, and Gou Peng was angry. He sent his team into the planet graveyard for the cause of Gou Jingming’s death.
“Finally! Let me see who dares to kill my son!”
A middle-aged man who took the lead sent out killing power from his sea of consciousness where a part of Gou Peng’s soul was hidden!
At the moment, Gou Peng sensed that the mark of the planet treasure was not far away!
The team quickly approached the scarlet mountain, but Su Yan wasn’t aware of the danger.
He was preparing to upgrade to level three of Taoist Door and then left the planet graveyard for Alkaid city searching for sacred herbs.
“Boom!”
A sound of iron colliding echoed suddenly. Su Yan was alerted and immediately stood up, looking at plains.
A team of strong elites riding horses were running towards here!
“They’re heading here.”
“What a murderous atmosphere! These people are strong. So, they knew about Gou Jingming’s death and located here?”
“But how could they know he was dead?”
Su Yan was surprised to find that those men’s destination was the scarlet mountain!
The next second, his face changed!
“I almost forgot. The mark! That’s how I found Zu Yan’s lair, by connecting with the mark I left on Trial Pagoda!”
Su Yan looked pale. Maybe Gou Jingming’s father had arrived as Gou Jingming himself didn’t have the power to master the planet treasure.
Su Yan had a headache. He arrived in Alkaid not for long, but he already provoked Alkaid Palace, the supreme power of Alkaid.
“What should I do?”
Su Yan pondered calmly and decided instantly. He used the law of Taoist Coercer to draw out Qi of Earth Vein from mountains and covered his body.

Su Yan hid in the residual formations.
And the next moment, that team of men had already arrived with overwhelming power, much stronger than Gou Jingming. Most of them were middle-aged men.
“Open!”
A cavalry threw a giant formation-breaking plate and it destroyed the residual formations. They rushed all the way up to the peak!
“Who did it!”
Bodies lay on the mountain peak. The middle-aged man who took the lead roared crazily. Su Yan already felt killing determination from Gou Peng’s soul. After all, Gou Peng was the deputy lord of Alkaid Palace!
“Boom!”
Gou Peng’s soul was extremely strong. He found Gou Jingming’s dead body and pulled out his resentment left before his death.
“The old man is so formidable. I should leave now!”
Su Yan moved cautiously downward. Gou Peng’s soul could let what had happened to Gou Jingming manifest through the resentment he drew.
The scenes were vague, but Gou Peng saw real dragon blood and a shadow like an ancient star killed Gou Jingming with its fists.
“Ah!”
Gou Peng’s scream shook the sky!
Alkaid Palace dispatched its young disciples here only for experience. Who’d thought that Gou Jingming died here, and he even found real dragon blood, which should have been his great fortune but caused his death instead.
“I don’t care who you are. I’ll make you suffer to death!”
Gou Peng’s eyes were ferocious. Suddenly he felt a stranger in the root of the mountain.
“Get out!”
His soul flamed. He opened his cold eyes and focused on a vague shadow down the hill!
“Spotted!” Su Yan led Qi of Earth Vein and rushed out, no longer concealing himself!
“Go get him, at all costs!”
Gou Peng’s hideous voice ordered cavalries to chase after Su Yan with killing weapons.
During the chasing, Gou Peng got angrier because he found that Su Yan was not even of Divine Magic Realm, instead he only grasped some knowledge of formations. That meant Gou Jingming died at the hands of a nobody!
“Boom!”
Mountain forests were in chaos. Killing light rolled violently like sea waves.
Dozens of cavalries attacked Su Yan.
Su Yan changed his positions quickly and crossed the sky along with Qi of Earth Vein.
His speed was not exceedingly fast, but with the help of Qi of Earth Vein, these cavalries were hard to catch up with him in a short time. But that was only a matter of time.
Su Yan ran fast towards a direction without a word.
“You can’t get away. When I catch you, I’ll torture you to death!”
Gou Peng’s hideous voice burst and was transmitted far way. Some cultivators who passed by shuttered with fear. The news of Gou Jingming’s death was spread. No one had expected that the promising Gou Jingming would die here.
“Old man, your son had an evil heart. I only cleaned the house for you!”
Su Yan’s response evoked Gou Peng’s anger. Thus, cavalries ran faster, and their horses trumped down mud and even made great rifts on the ground.
“Kill!”
On approaching, these cavalries jumped up like vipers to attack Su Yan!
Right at this point, Su Yan stopped.
He closed his eyes and released his Qi which penetrated Earth Vein!
Su Yan looked like a god with intangible spirit. When his feet stepped on the ground, residual killing formations hidden in the area rose up suddenly.
Thousands of residual formations were activated, forming a killing trap that went straight to those cavalries.
“Damn!”
Their face changed drastically. It didn’t occur to them that Su Yan was able to use powerful residual formations. Now a killing setting was constructed, and formation-breaking plates couldn’t stop it.
“Boom!”
The terrain was trembling with screams and blood everywhere.
They angrily yelled and tried their best to resist. Their rides were pierced.
“Who’s this ferocious?”
“The one who was talking is Gou Peng. He’s been crazy about finding the murderer.”
“This man looks young. He killed Gou Jingming? What’s his background?”
“I assume he is some heir of a big family. Wait and see. It won’t end easily. By Gou Peng’s nature, he’ll definitely kill all his family.”
People passing by were shocked to see that these residual formations trapped Gou Peng and his men.
“I have to go!” Su Yan ran swiftly like a wind towards the exit of the planet graveyard.
He knew that the longer he stayed, the higher the possibilities he would get killed. If Gou Peng dispatched more people, he would be sieged and killed.
“You can’t escape!”
A middle-aged man with blood all over rushed out. It was Gou Peng’s soul. He noticed that Su Yan was almost near the door of the planet graveyard, and shouted coldly, “There’s no way out for you in this world!”
Gou Peng’s soul ran towards Su Yan by the fastest speed like a lightning, piercing the sky! Gou Peng's Anger
