“Tethra? Tethra? Why are you dumbfounded like that?” Elder Pan got concerned after seeing Tethra stared silently at the Runic characters.

Tethra would have never forgotten that ancient writings that brought him into archeologist life. That day, the sky is bright. The sun was right up above people’s head. That day was very bright and hot. The 10 years old Tethra, who lost his childhood memories, was trying hard to remember his granpa. Then, he wondered, why he only remembered his grandpa? Where were his parents?

So, keeping those thought in his mind, Tethra tried to find his family album. As he found those old album with crumbling brown cover, he found photos of a man and a woman in ancient ruins inside the album. The man looked similiar to him with black hair, but with a pair black eyes. The woman has the same eyes of his, blue eyes, but with shoulder-length beautiful violet hair. The mature little Tethra already guessed that they are his parents based on their similiarities with him. But he wondered why he didn’t feel any familiarity with them at all.

Suddenly memories started to invade Tethra’s mind. That was actually the first time part of the qi seal got opened, but Tethra didn’t remember this incident. The memories were the time he spent with his grandpa talking about his parents.

“Grandpa, where are dad and mom? I heard from the other parents that I have great father and mom? Where are they?”

“Tethra... your parents are really great, they are archeologist that had revealed many ancients secrets. Sadly, on one of their journey, they never came back, only their team came back to us and bring us that bad news” Grandpa melancholically remembered that days. The day he got shocked while taking care of baby Tethra.

“So, grandpa what do archeologists do? I wanna be great too like dad and mom!”

“Ahahaha child, you are still so little... fine, fine, I will tell you” Tethra’s grandpa after failing to avoid Tethra’s puppy eyes, started to teach archeologists job to a 8 years old child. If someone saw this, they would be scolding Tethra’s grandpa now for teaching complex material to little Tethra. But unexpectedly, Tethra himself absorbed those knowledges like sponge. He started to ask many questions to his grandpa until his grandpa got shocked by Tethra’s comprehension.

The memories of how to be an arceologist, the comprehension Tethra’s got from grandpa’s teaching, and the most important of all, the time he spent with his grandpa, all came back to Tethra. The 10 years old Tethra, finding his body too small and fragile for archeologist work, started to work out a little. Luckily, in this post-great flood earth, most of the population still hadn’t been restored yet so the supplies that came to orphanages are enough to make them live healthily.

Even thought little Tethra could be counted as an orphan, but he was very mature for his age, so he started to manage his own life based on things he learnt from internet and succeeded in avoiding orphanages. The day he hit 12 years old was the day he started finding ancient ruins to search. At first, he was all alone, but later, an archeologist party recognized his talent and scouted him to their party. Later he left at 18 years old to attend university fully. There, he met Friche, one of his best friend.

Tethra then started to walk inside and Elder Pan followed behind him. Elder Pan still wasn’t sure what happened to Tethra, but he thought that it wasn’t dangerous se he just let it go.

“Here, Tethra, I will show you the way to coat your finger with qi” Elder Pan calmly told Tethra about the Qi Atrraction Finger method. But when he saw Tethra, he was surprised to find that Tethra already coated his finger with qi. Even the other Runist, the way to call Rune Anthusiast, got their experiment disturbed because of the amazing sight they saw.

“Tethra, are you sure you haven’t learnt any of this yet?” Elder Pan didn’t believe a mid-twenty kid could use Qi Attraction Finger that easily and expertly. It could be seen from the qi movement around his finger that the qi didn’t fluctuate and actually was stable. The difference between fluctuated qi and stabilized qi to draw runes could be said to be the gap between a Runist and a renowned Runemaster. Even a newbie Runemaster need sometime to make the qi stabilized fully. Now, he saw a youngster in his middle twenties could use stabilized qi perfectly.

Luckily they thought Tethra is in his middle twenties, if they knew he is still in his twentieth years, nobody would know what would happen. While they were still getting surprised about Tethra’s talent, Tethra smoothly made a Runic Work from some Runic characters they didn’t even recognize. Once again he shocked the crowd by creating an original Runic Work that they never knew existed. A soap summoning Rune Work.

“Wow cool, a soap really got summoned! Let’s see when will it dissolve” After 1 minute the soap dissolved into qi particles. Now, even Elder Pan didn’t know what to say about Tethra’s talent in Runic Works. Using a stabilized qi right from the start, expertly created a Runic Work in less than 5 seconds, and even made his own original Runic Works instantly. They were really made speechless from these.

“5 seconds is too long right? Yeah, I think so too, 5 seconds is too much to create a Runic Work, I will try my best to shorten the time!” Now, nobody dared to underestimate Tethra anymore. At first when he came in, they thought he was just an ambitious teenager that got interested in Rune. Now, they know he was a Runemaster to be, he wasn’t Runemaster yet just because he didn’t know many Runic Works and he hadn’t registered at the Runemaster Association.

Nobody would ever know how Tethra instantly made that Runic Work. In fact, Tethra already comprehended most of the Hieroglyph characters, so this rune thing seemed so easy to Tethra. He hadn’t been called the genius archeologist for nothing back on earth. He just hadn’t adapted to writing in air yet. Writing in air actually harder than it looked like. First your runes couldn’t have different depth while writing in the air, it must be like writing in the paper, flat and stable. Then while maintaining the same depth, you also have to maintain the same space distance between characters. That’s why most of Runemasters usually attack from a distance while maintaining shield rune so they could concentrate on making Runic Works to attack the enemy.

If they knew Tethra was trying to make Runic Work while moving, they would have called him crazy and lunatic. Luckily for Tethra, he was still trying to adapt to the new feeling of writing in air.

“See, what did I mean? You must have talent in other aspect.. hohoho..” Elder Pan kept his calm as soon as he recognized the fact that he just brought a genius Runemaster to this sect. He must report this to Sect Master as soon as possible so the Sect Master would nurture Tethra.

“I think I need to do something earlier Tethra, keep trying to make originals from the rune characters here” Elder Pan left as quickly as possible. This news musn’t be leaked to outsiders! Other than that, he also already sent qi message to every Runists and Runemasters in the building to keep this secret so they could make Tethra become a top Runemaster as quick as possible.

“Uhh, there are so many rune characters...” Tethra looked around the ceiling and walls. There were so many rune characters that filled the whole building.

“Just look slowly and steadily, maybe you can create another original, don’t be so nervous” a veteran Runist said to Tethra seeing Tethra looked around wildly.

“No, in fact i’m pumped up for this! This many rune characters, I could make originals as many as possible!” Tethra started writing in the air again after saying that.

All the other Runists in the building became depressed just because of his talent, they were all thinking the same thing.

“It is already enough that you made 1 Runic Work instantly and expertly, now you want to make as many as possible??!! Save us some!!!”
