《Love at First Theft》14. Steal the Meeting
Advertisement
A month after the incident with Nick, we met up again. During that time, we all prepared to rob the museum of the statue once again. During that time, we met up sometimes to talk and I mostly talked with Ash and Blake attempted to meet up with Max more times than necessary. We had to take even more precautions due to what happened. We all decided to meet up at Mei and Aaron's place to discuss our plans. Blake and I followed the instructions that Mei sent us to get to their house and once we were there,
Blake nudged me and pointed to a person that was walking towards them. "Is that...?" As the figure got closer, I saw blond hair and a person clad in a sweatsuit.
"He got out?" I muttered to Blake as I rang the doorbell.
"I guess," He whispered back. By the time Aaron opened the door, he was right next to us. He was looking at me as if he saw a celebrity or something... which I guess was accurate.
"You must be...Rhett?" I asked him.
Rhett nodded his head violently and clasped my hand and shook that with the same amount of vigor as his head. "I-It's an honor to meet you."
I looked over to Blake and Aaron with a plea in my eyes saying "Help me". Blake started to snicker and I looked back at Rhett and smiled, not knowing what to do. "Uh, thank you. Can you let go now, please?"
Rhett apologized, bowed deeply, and stepped into the house. Blake was still giggling and now Aaron was too. I shot a pissed off look towards them and walked in. "What am I supposed to do in that situation?" I asked Blake.

He laughed, "Whatever the fuck you want. You're a celebrity now," He lightly punched my arm.
I sighed and walked in. It was definitely well kept compared to our place, but there was nothing fancy. Aaron took us down a long and winding staircase and to the basement, where everyone was sitting either on the ratty couch or on the floor. I sat next to Ash and Rhett on the floor and Blake sat next to Max on the couch, and that's when I remembered.
Oh yeah... Max has a girlfriend. Well shit, I forgot to tell Blake.
Aaron sat down next to Blake and took out his phone. Mei was sitting in a chair and initiated the little meeting.
"So, I'm assuming that you guys are gonna help us?"
Blake and I nodded in response. She seemed... nice. Nice and soft-spoken, which was nothing like before when she gave off the impression that she was a little ball of rage. I remembered that when Ash and I met earlier that month, she told me to always be early when meeting with Mei, so Blake and I showed up ten minutes earlier than the time that we scheduled.
"We'll set up a time for sometime next week. Max," She said her name and Max sat up straight in surprise.
"Yes?"
"Get some supplies. I'll text you what we need. Aaron."
"Yo," He looked up from his phone.
"Find out who would pay top dollar for the statue."
Jesus Christ. They have a whole system, unlike us. We just buy whatever's cheap and seems helpful and sell to whoever wants it. How are we more well-known than them?
"Rhett."
"Hmm?" He looked up at Mei sleepily, even though he was bursting with energy earlier.

"Just... learn from Flynn of how to work better."
That perked him up right away. He gave a little salute, "Yes ma'am!"
"Oh, and your welcome for bailing you out... $1,000 is a lot of money," Mei grumbled.
Rhett gave a bashful look and said thanks. I was kind of curious to see how Rhett worked. Ash told me that he wan't the best... but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST. HAVE YOU EVEN HEARD OF THE CONCEPT OF KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS? AND HOLY FUCK, YOU TYPE AT THE SPEED OF A TORTOISE.
While I was menatally screaming at his attempt to break through a firewall I set up, I dug my nails into my palm to try and keep from yelling at him. I sighed.
This will take a while and I only have a week. God help me, please.

"You have such a pretty pussy," were the words that came out as more of a growl. Turning to look at him, I found his eyes already watching me causing my chest to constrict in sweet agony, "I'm going to enjoy eating you, my little gazelle," he cooed gently falling to his knees in a prayer like motion. Only this form of prayer was far beyond holy but aimed to please and was sacred in its own way... ***When Aaliyah Winston waltzed into the city of New York in search of a new life, unexpectedly she is thrust into a world.
