《Dragons Dogma: Chaos & Order》Chapter 2: Fae The Hunter

Nezintic yawned as she woke up. She blinked sleepily as she looked around. She was still in the cave that she found yesterday, and she was rather ... hungry.
"It seems my metabolism is quite higher than normal," Nezintic spoke telepathy.
Eventually, Nezintic decided to head out on her own. She couldn't get instructions, but she went out on her own to hunt.
She spent hours sharping her claws on rocks. But, unfortunately, none of her current abilities will be able to kill her prey. So it's natural weapons until then.
A sound reached her ear, and her body froze. Locating it was easy. There were shrubberies there between the trees.
"My first prey"
With that singular thought in mind, she slowly made her way towards the bushes, keeping her own steps very light and free of sound. Since flying was too nosy at the moment. Then Neztinic saw her meal.
A rabbit. A tiny one as well. Well, tiny from her past perspective. The rabbit was bigger as she was.
"I dought my claws would have any effect on such a creature, or maybe I can use a too?" The faerie hatchling looked for something that she could use. She found a rock and picked it up with her tail.
The novice hunter lurched her tail a bit. "Blast it all; I better invest some points into strength later..." she muttered. The rock must be half a kilogram at the max, but it felt much heavier than that.
The rabbit was about five meters away, and the aurora night sky would cover her bioluminescent glow and rainbow color. Then an idea hit him. She remembered that she had the ability to climb trees.
Climbing one that tree metes away from her meal.
"From this height and the ratio of mass from the mass along with acceleration. This should be enough to smash its skull." Next, Nezintic calculated the odds of success.
And she let go.
Squeeeekkk!
Nezintic likced her lips
"Hunt Comepelted~."

Nezintic put five points into strength and vitality. Putting them both in the double digits.
It took about an hour for Nezintic to take the rabbit apart for its meat. She wanted to test her newfound strength. The test proved success full. It seems that strength will increase her basic power, natural weapons, and the little white, red, and pink muscles in her entire body.
Red muscles have slow-twitch fibers, which can contract slowly for a long period of time without fatigue. ... White muscles have fewer capillaries, myoglobin, and mitochondria. Instead, they have fast-twitch fibers, which can contract fast with a lot of force, but not for very long.
Pink has both with no of the drawbacks. Faerie dragons seem to know a lot about their bodies compared to most species of dragons.
A sound reached her ear.
Ding! New Ability! Listening
Nezintic pulled up the description of her new ability.

"Who's there?" she asked with a growl. Then, bringing up wings at full blast.
Ding!
Nezintic desmssied the voice. It seems she gained the ability named: Intimidation. A skill similar to her roar but a passive effect. An x 1.0 chance of causing Caution and x 0.5 chance of causing Fear based on Nezintic level and the opponent.
Slowly, her green brother stepped out of the very bushes where she had first intended to throw the rock.
"U-Uh..."
Nezintic makes note that she can read his mind. Must be low on intelligence.
"What do you want, older brother?" she asked as blood dripped from her mouth.
"C-Can I-?"
Grrrrr...
Nezintic and her older brother blinked before Nnezintic let out a short high-pitched laugh. "Guess your stomach has a faster mouth than you do, eh? Go ahead, I already ate. Don't follow me, brother," she said, and with that, she began to walk away.

She decided to sleep during the day and hunt at night until level 5.
It was finally daybreak before Nezintic turned to the creature that was following her.
"Brother, what're your doing here? Why are you following me?"
Nezintic watched the sunset while she kept herself sitting on the treetops.
The tree she is resting on is a tree that her kind seems to like to hind in. It glows like they do. Well, the leaves do.
Despite the dangers of hunting at night. The hatchling didn't care.
It was ridiculously easy to level up early on, and she was going to take every advantage of that, even if that meant Nezintic had to hunt at night.
Now, what did hunting at night have to do with taking advantage?
Well...
Nights are dangerous, yes? It's dangerous because there are animals and creatures stronger than her. Which means that there is a difference in strength.
This means if she even hits one creature before its death, she will get a percentage share of the EXP.
Now, this is only an idea, and Nezintic has no idea if this will work. But it's not a bad idea.
Going into the night sky. Nezintic looks for places where creatures will fight to the death.
Logically, water sources like streams, rivers, and lakes would be the most ideal place to see simply because every single creature alive needs water.
"Or do they drink during the day?" She muttered in thought.
"Hey, set up the trap here."
Hearing a voice that belongs to one of the languages that mother taught her.
She looked down.
There. Next to a river was a group of furry in weird places creatures. They were dressed in leather and fur.
What are they things? The hatchling wondered.
She inspected them.
[Elf Hunter Lv22]
In quick succession, she scanned the furries creatures with pointy ears. All of them are of the same race and ranging from Lv19 to 29.
"Alright, trainees, it's time for you to learn how to set up traps. How to clean, disarm, spot, and know what kind of traps you can use on hunting."
The strongest one said.
Flying low, Nezintic landed in a tree that was about 2.5 meters away with 180 vision. Maybe she can learn from these Elf Hunters.
"Brother, what're your doing here? Why are you following me?"
The hatchling asked without looking away from the elves.
"H-how did you."
"Shut up and don't speak. If you can do that, I will not kill you, older brother."
"yes, sis-"
"It's Boss." Nezintic corrected her sibling. Having heard it from one of the elves just now, she took a great like to the word.
"Yes bos-"
"With a capital B," Nezintic corrected her moronic brother again. "I like it better that way."
"Boss," The green faerie hatchling nervously said.
"Well?"
"I want to join you, Boss."
"That's obvious stupid older brother. So I'm asking why should I let you?"
Nezintic Older Brother *** POV
I want to have strength. I'm weak and dumb, but my sister is so strong.
Nezintic. She was different. She looked pretty, but she was able to fly and lift stones. She even killed a rabbit!
And those things can eat us... I saw it ate a hatchling not too long ago
She is amazing, so I ended up stalking her and got caught. But for some reason, she just didn't care and left the rest of the meat for me, which I ate.
I want to be like her.
"I want to be strong like you, and I will follow your every move. Boss sister!"
Neztinic just shrugged. "Alright then. We'll be hunting rabbits again today in the daytime, but I expect you to catch at least one yourself. Got it!"
The smaller hatchling nodded. "Got it."
"Your name will be Ashteumax... Now listen to these hunters."
"Got Boss Sister!"
