Chapter 7 – the crimson continent's capital 'Crimson city'

Another surprise came out of no where….

"Hey Black, didn't you see that to get out of the dungeon, I would have to clear the whole dungeon?!"

[Listen well, kid!, sometimes when some kinds of conditions are cleared, you can go out of the dungeon but it is not forever though, you have to at least enter the dungeon and clear a floor once per week, when you go out a mini-sized teleportation circle will be engraved on your palm and if you stayed out of the dungeon for more than a week your qualification to go out of the dungeon will get revoked and you will be summoned back into the dungeon instantly, as for having the qualifications to get out of this dimension the only way is the clear the whole Dungeon] (Black)

"Old man, I still have two other questions"

[Don't call me an old man, I told you before to respect your elders] (Black)

"Whatever, I feel that there is a strange something inside my back, do you know what is this supposed to be?!"

[This is probably a trait of the Humanoid Dragon race, check it out] (Black)

I checked the traits of my new race and I found that there was a single trait that I didn't check.

['Dragon wings'

Trait description: you can know call out Dragon wing out of you back to help you fly.

Note: you can't fly too high because you body isn't strengthened enough.]

As I tried summoning these Dragon wings, I started felling something wants to break out from my armor so I tried manipulating it using Aura, then I removed my cape, suddenly, a pair of small Dragon wings appeared on my back.

At first flying was a bit hard but I got used it after training for sometimes, after that I retracted my wings and I asked Black about the crimson continent which was my second question.

[To explain it thoroughly I have to start from the beginning of the story, in this dimension there are three main continents, the Azure continent, the Crimson continent and the Dark continent, although there are other continent but they are to small to be known] (Black)

[As such every one of these three continents is governed officially by people who cleared special Dungeons just like this one but in reality they are just vassals of the supreme being of such continent, for example the Crimson continent has the crimson Dragon as their ruler, the Azure continent has the Azure Dragon as they ruler and so on, for people who live in these continents they worship these Dragons as the Guardians of these continents]

"So should I go their or not?", I asked with a calm expression but in reality I was so exited to go their, it wasn't long since I got here but it felt like ages because I couldn't interact with people and I also wanted to eat some thing else from the disgusting raw meat.

[You probably should go there, what you want the most right now is to learn fire magic which will increase your survivability in this dungeon; you should have realized that the difficulty will rise up by a notch from now on as you fought that boss monster, so you should go to see magicians in the crimson continent which is famous for having a lot of fire magician to teach you]

He was certainly right, learning fire magic was what I needed the most right know or my new evolution and abilities will go to waste, after thinking it through I picked up enough rations, blood drinks and water as I fully prepared my self, I let venom enter the space dragons ring after eating the cores I gave him, then I stood at the teleportation circle.

[Would you like to teleport to the 'Crimson continent'?]

As I approved a wave with higher Mana than the original floor teleportation brushed through me, soon I found my self falling from the sky, I hurriedly open my wings to slow my fall but I still crushed into several trees on my way down.

I could deduce that I was currently in a forest filled with wild beasts as they started swarming at me, although killing them was a piece of cake but there were a lot so it was a bit troublesome especially since venom was sleeping in my space ring so I had to kill them alone.

After slaughtering the beasts that came in my way, I started to see the end of the forest.

I leveled up after getting out from the forest for killing the wild beasts so I decided to distribute these points and the ones I saved until now since I didn't have to absorb cores for now, I put most of them in magic and endurance which were the lowest especially that magic was something I wanted to learn soon, as such my stats became like this,

As I started heading towards the city that I saw far in the horizon, I saw a group of people traveling in an open carriage wearing long fiery red ropes which had the insignia of a huge fire bird that looked quite majestic.

"Hey, you want to get on?, we have some space so come on since we are headed to the same city"

A young man with an amicable smile on his face invited me to their carriage, at first I was hesitating but after repeating his invitation several times, I decided to accept his invitation in the end since I needed some information about that city.

"Actually I came from a far away place so I am a bit lost so can you tell me which city are we going to?" (Light)

"No problem, that city is the crimson continent's capital, the 'Crimson city', we are currently returning to our guild's head quarters, also my name is Jack"

"I am sorry for my bad manners, my name is Light, Light thunderflame"

"It's ok, the girl beside me is Jean and the one sitting beside you is Floria our guild's most talented junior"

I looked at jean who happily smiled and greeted me but that Floria girl seemed to be on the cold side as she didn't even bother to look at me although she seemed to have the same age as me, after that jack and jean chatted happily with me until we reached the city.

"Then, we will be going now, see you later, Light" (Jack)

"sorry, but can you tell me where I can sell monsters' meat and hides" (Light)

"Ah.., for that you can go to the Merchants' Guild, they will offer you a good price" (Jack)

"Thanks for the ride" (Light)

"It was nothing, don't give it much thought" (Jack)

After that I walked into the ally and equipped my full set with the dragon mask and then I started asking people for directions till I reached the Merchants' Guild.

I walked in and talked to the female receptionist who looked a bit distracted,

"Excuse me, I want to sell something" (Light)

"You can put it at the counter…" (Receptionist)

"Sorry, but I think I will need more space" (Light)

"Haa, how much do you think a 18 years old kid like you can get, just hurry up and put it in the counter" (Receptionist)

That Receptionist said it sarcastically as she looked to be annoyed, so I just did what she said and I started to pour most of the monsters and beasts that I dismantled

On the counter as half room was filled with them.

The Receptionist looked in surprise, then she started apologizing, at first I thought she was just doing so in order not to anger me but she looked quite honest with her apology so maybe she had some circumstances that made her grumpy earlier.

After that she started collecting them wholeheartedly and calculated the price for them then she gave me a huge bag filled with coins.

"The whole price is about 213,659 Gold coins"

I asked her to tell me about the currency system saying that I was from a far away country, then after she explained to me it seemed like that money was even enough for a regular man to live without worrying about money for the rest of his life, as I heard that I shrugged my shoulders, I wasn't really in need for money, I just wanted to get a good place to stay until tomorrow when I will go looking for someone or someplace to learn fire magic.

After that I asked about an inn, so the Receptionist who said her name was Lin told me that this place there was an inn in the building beside this Guild, then I walked out of the Guild as I waved to miss Lin and headed towards the inn.
