《Unparalleled Appearance: She is the Last with Divine Power in a Universal War》Kryons

"Y-young lady?"
Rose didn't expect someone who seemed to be her age to refer to her as if they were very different ages.
"You don't like being called that?"
Lanaery asked Rose, seeing her bewildered reaction.
"I don't care. I was just a little surprised, and that's it. But if you want, you can use my name."
"Rose is my name, and my last names are Hesdia Lacroix."
Lanaery looked at Rose silently.
It had been a long time since she had heard the name of another living being. Mainly because, after a few years, there was no one for her to meet in the Sacred Origin.
This caused her to be in a better mood.
Lanaery was a little glad that the first living being she met was this kind and cute young lady.
So, with a beautiful smile, she said, "Okay, Rose. My name is Lanaery Oissa Ivu Suries. It's up to you how you want to call me."
"I won't bother at all."
Eyes sparkling, Rose inched closer to Lanaery.
"Your names and surnames are very cute."
Her cute little face blushed a bit and asked, "S-so can I call you Suries?"
"I really liked this last name."
Lanaery, with a somewhat peculiar look, replies, "Sure, you can call me that. Although it's not my last name, it's my middle name. My first name is Lanaery. The rest are last names."
Rose found this rather odd, but still, she nodded happily.
In the Sacred Origin, when someone was born, they would first be named and then carry the surnames of their parents.
But there was one exception: when a girl got the title of Saintess, she was given a middle name that went after her last name.
In Lanaery's case, the name Suries was bestowed upon her becoming a Saintess.
She shook her head in her mind as she remembered the origin of her middle name. Now, this second name that was only used in important events in the Sacred Origin was nothing more than an empty title.
It was better to let Rose, who liked this name, use it smoothly.
"...So, Suries. Can you tell me, if you want, what happened to you to end up coming out of that strange door?"
"Besides, why did you speak a different language in this century?"
"And... Were you born with that appearance?"
"You are just the most beautiful person I have ever seen in my seventeen years of life!"
Faced with this avalanche of questions, Lanaery only thought for a moment and said, "I'll tell you another time about my past. Now touching on that subject would be harmful to my mind."

Rose became even more confused by these words. But she nodded, stating that she understood.
"A different language... You can interpret it to mean that I come from another world very different from yours."
"The appearance thing, it's a bit complicated to explain. But you can think that I was born that way."
"!"
"S-seriously!?"
Rose asked with an expression of extreme curiosity.
She couldn't believe that this youth with an incomparable appearance was from another world. Although this explanation made sense to Rose since no one on earth was born with that level of perfection.
"I have nothing to gain by lying to you."
Lanaery just said this without bothering to explain anything else.
"Another world with intelligent beings..."
"And that they are so similar to us. Well, a little similar since the difference in beauty is overwhelming."
Rose was really surprised by all this information that she never expected she would know, considering that three days ago, she was about to enter a rainbow portal.
Not knowing if she was going to die or not.
The only intelligent beings the humans had encountered were the ones inside the rainbow portals. But those beings were extremely hostile towards humans.
Of the rest, even after four hundred years of enormous technological advances, even to the point of conquering the solar system.
They had been unable to find any trace of another civilization in the observable universe.
"No wonder I didn't feel any mental energy in your body."
"At first, I thought you were someone who unfortunately couldn't accumulate mental energy in her body."
"?"
Lanaery looked blankly at what Rose was saying.
"Mental energy is-"
Growl!
Before Rose could explain what mental energy was, her stomach growled loudly.
"Uh..."
"I-I forgot I hadn't eaten anything since I woke up this morning."
Rose looked into Lanaery's golden eyes and was relieved to see that she didn't seem to mind the sound of her rumbling stomach demanding food.
"I'm going to make something to eat, will you?"
Rose asked. She thought Lanaery must be really hungry, having not eaten anything in days.
"Food... I haven't eaten anything in years."
She touched her stomach involuntarily as she remembered something from her past.
"It's fine."
What Lanaery just said sounded like she was saying she hadn't eaten in days. However, using the word 'years' to exaggerate as a figure of speech.
But in truth, she hadn't eaten anything for over eight years. The reason she could stay alive without eating was that her divine power was in charge of always keeping her body in perfect health.

With her divine power, she didn't need to eat, sleep, or do anything else. She just had to focus on killing Abyssals Clones.
Day after day, year after year. Without resting.
"Ok, then wait here for a minute."
Rose was about to leave the room.
"Oh!"
"How could I forget to give you the keys?"
She pulled from a pocket in her skirt a silver card with a picture of black keys in the middle.
"This will help you open all the doors in this mansion."
"Normally, I wouldn't give this to someone I just met... But I feel like there's no way you can be a bad person."
"Just wait a few minutes for me. If you get bored, you can go out and look at the antiques that are in the whole mansion. There are hundreds of antiques!"
Buzz!
With the door closing, Lanaery stared at the planned card for a moment and slipped it into a small pocket of her black leather armor.
Lanaery spent a minute looking at the scenery of this world through the window, after which she found nothing interesting in this room.
So she decided to go out and take a look at those antiques Rose was talking about.
A long corridor was in front of her.
Everything was metallic white except for the wooden floor.
She calmly walked around this place barefoot, as Lanaery was only wearing her black leather armor and nothing else.
This was because her previous light armor had boots.
On both sides of this long corridor, she saw numerous paintings with art very different from the Sacred Origin.
The quality could even be better.
What interested her most of all these paintings was one in which a man with golden hair was kneeling while a silver and gold sword was pierced through his chest.
This man's expression was blank and indifferent, as if he had nothing going through his chest.
Around him was a magnificent palace with giant golden pillars.
Apart from these paintings, there were all kinds of antiques.
Lanaery saw skeletons of strange creatures. Miniature statues with sinister shapes.
Worn armor pieces. Among many other things of unknown origins.
As she continued to walk, she stopped in front of a black scale with a cut in the middle. This scale was really big. It was around five meters long and two meters wide.
What caused her to stop at this place was that there was something on this scale that resonated with her.
Something that had been inside her body ever since she became a Saintess.
Divine power!
"How strange... How is this divine power still active?"
She said this as divine power was usually in a state of death.
Divine power could be anywhere, but at the same time, it could not be used.
This was the reason Saintesses were so important on Sacred Origin.
Since only one out of millions had the talent to create a hero heart using a blessed tear.
A treasure that was almost impossible to make.
So only the most talented heroes had permission from the Church of Light to consume it.
The worst thing was that even though there was the possibility of creating a hero heart with divine power.
Only one in a hundred million could create a perfect hero heart. The rest, at most, had an inferior and incomplete result.
The most incredible thing about this was that Lanaery was one in a billion.
Not only did she create a perfect hero heart, she even made her elemental perception completely made of divine power, and there was also the fact that she formed a divine body.
A body that could increase the power of divine abilities by 100%!
For this reason, she was known as the most talented Saintess who ever lived. In fact, some believed that Lanaery's incomparable appearance was due to her divine body.
Which was completely true. Before she drank the blessed tear, her appearance was beautiful. But it was still in the range that there were more women as beautiful as her.
Looked at this scale with a puzzled expression. She reached out her hand and gently touched the surface of the scale.
She instantly felt how hundreds of points of light stirred with excitement inside the scale. These points of light all gathered where Lanaery's palm was, wanting to enter her body of its own volition.
Lanaery couldn't use her hero heart to absorb this small amount of divine power.
But her divine body could also store divine power, just in less quantity.
Lanaery accepted this divine power, which caused the pores in her palm to open as if incredibly thirsty and instantly absorbed all the divine power inside the scale!
With this small amount of divine power entering her body, her golden eyes sparkled for a moment.
Clenching her fists, she felt the divine power in her body.
Passively, all the impurities in her body were cleansed by her newly acquired divine power.
"It's really too little. But this amount is still a good thing."
"Maybe there's more..."
She looked at all the antiques in this hallway with sparkling eyes.

NOVA INTERIT.US
It's 2063, and the town along with much of the nation are in disarray. The decay started years before the Great Event. Our town still had hope thanks to the five families, who'd created a blockchain based water distribution system for the locals, a valuable secret hidden from the Global Water Commission and their network of mercenaries. Earlier in the mid-2040's, right after the state secessions of Idaho, Montana, and Texas, the Global Council of Water Commissioners made their deals and moved into towns throughout the country. They called it "the integration." The Commission and their contractors integrated with municipal water departments, using their organized network to invade like parasites on local services. It all coincided with the 29th Amendment to the United States Constitution, later referred to as the Regional Trident Plan. Nova is a story about survival, power structures, the turning of relationships, and the networking between people and the systems to which they belong. It’s about A.I. blockchain possibility, and its potential for human betterment versus our detriment. It’s about the question of whether or not we need to be saved from ourselves, and by who or what? The Great Event at the end of the first chapter might just be what actually saves us. The epilogue will take place in 2517. This scene is fully sketched and the full arc of the novel is set. I expect to finish Nova Interitus by summer of 2023. This is realist hard-sci-fi dystopian fiction. I hope you find Nova to be a challenging and consuming story. This is not something I planned to write. It all came to me in a dream and I haven't been able to stop writing it. This Royal Road posting is basically a beta test with chapters and drafts to get some feedback and see if there's any readership for this narrative. For the full experience read Nova on Substack. I will be narrating a podcast version later this year there. https://novainteritus.substack.com/

Killstealer
Unfinished - Apologies to anyone who was reading but I have no current intentions to revisit this story Alex was stuck in a rut: He was nearing thirty, and his career seemed to be going no-where; He used to have plenty of friends at university, but had gradually lost touch with them. He had recently started using a dating site, but truthfully he never quite got over his ex. It could be worse; he didn't spend his nights wallowing in self pity. However, he had a sinking feeling that his life was going no-where fast. When Alex decided to take up an old hobby all he really was looking for was something fun to do on friday nights. Thrust into another world by a mad mage Alex must adapt quickly to survive. Unfortunately, Alex showed up late to game night and ends up stuck with a pretty mediocre character in this game like reality. Alex must learn to survive in this new world; just because it all seems like a giant game doesn't make death any less terrifying. This will be my first attempt at writing litrpg. I wanted to set myself the challenge of writing every week and I think knowing people might be reading it will motivate me. I've always worked much better with external deadlines. FAQ Why should I read this LitRPG? I am writing because I enjoy it and you should read it if you enjoy it. If I had to make an elevator pitch I would start off by saying my MC is a rogue type character, which seems a relatively uncommon character at least based on what I have read. I also strive to make the supporting cast three dimensional characters, and not just caricatures. Finally, I can't forget that this is a LitRPG so I have tried to make a RPG system with depth, and one that makes sense. How often will you release chapters? At least once a week is my goal. I am a nurse with a baby at home, so between my hospital and my baby I won't have time for more unless something dramatically changes. Will there be romance? I won't rule it out as I try to let my characters write their own stories. However, there will NEVER be a harem, it just isn't something I am interested in. Gore, Profanity, and Traumatising Content? I don't intend to have any of these present at obscene levels, but my tolerance might be different to yours. The tags are mostly there to cover me.
