《Demon slayer:Family》Chapter 11. Twist and conclusion

At night,in a village
There was a balck haired youth standing infront of a house.
He was wearing a fox mask.
This youth was Kamado Harada.
"The demon should be coming here any minute" thought Harada.
Currently, everyone was inside thier houses and Harada was the only person who was out on the streets.
Suddenly,Harada sensed somethjng strange.
A presence of something with a nauseating stentch.
"This is probably the demon" thinking that,he rushed inside the carpenter's house.
"Eh,what are you doing inside of my house?" the shocked carpenter asked Harada.
"I am here because I sensed a presence of a demon" he said hurriedly while looking for the room in which the baby was.
Suddenly he heard a baby's cry from the room right next to the kitchen.
He rushed there to see only darkness.
Pure darkness as if it was smoke, but 10 times denser.
"This must be the demon!" he thought internally as he unseathed his sword.
"Since my vision is blocked, the best way would be to attack by feeling where it is."
Then slowly,Harada walked into that darkness.
.......
After a few seconds of standing inside the darkness,I felt something lingering around my right leg,I striked with my blade but,
I cut nothing.
How could this be?
I clearly felt something.
*bam*
Just as he was thinking this,he heard a noise.
The noise of something that came from the front, probably the window.
Harada understood that this demon was running away.
He jumped and striked in the direction of the window.
But once again he cut nothing.
He quickly jumped out of the window and he saw the demon.
The demon had grey skin, sharp claws yet it's teeth weren't as sharp.
It looked like a human infant.
It was only about 2 feet of height, and had a very big mouth.
Currently,it had a child's headless body in it's hands
"eh,ah" as soon as the demon noticed me,it shrieked.

But it didn't run away,it rolled up like a ball and hardened it's body.
"Heh,too bad for you demon, but I'm an expert at cutting boulders" Harada said in a mocking tone as he used the Second Form: Water Wheel.
*shiii*
As expected, the demon was completly cut in two halfs in just one strike.
"It was simply too easy, how can this be? There must be something wrong." Harada pondered.
Every time a Demon devours a human, the Demon becomes stronger, and they can eventually develop special, supernatural powers, but for a demon which had unlocked it's blood demon arts,it was pitifully weak.
"From the information that I collected, this demon seemed to have intellect, but this time it did the stupidest thing,it was as if it wanted me to kill it,why?"
Just as Harada was thinking that,he felt that someone was staring at him from a distance from behind.
He abruptly turned around and saw a puppy like beast,it had completly black fur,and extremely thin legs, they looked like twigs.
And at the center of it's head were two completly red eyes, and it had a big mouth and sharp teeth.
Harada didn't give any strong reaction, and pretended to not see it at all.
The dog like demon saw that the little demon has been killed. Thus it quickly turned around and left.
"I should follow it" Harada thought and without any delay,he started to silently follow it.
......
After two hours.
Just outside the village,
There was a youth silently following a black dog,the dog seemed to be normal, but if one looked closely they would find that it had an extremely eerie look.
The youth following the balck dog was Harada.
"I have stalked this demon for 2 hours, just as I imagined, this is the demon's pet or something" Harada thought to himself.
If he hadn't stalked this demon tonight then he may never have gotten the chance to get to this place.

After sometime, the dog demon entered a cave.
Harada followed after it.
Inside the cave,he saw a demon, however this demon was much bigger than the other demkns he saw in the village till now.
This demon was 6 feet tall,it had a fat constitution,a big mouth, and sharp teeth as well.
Behind him, there were small cat demons as well.
"The rumors were that there is a demon whkch eats infant children, dogs and cats, perhaps this demon used them to make these little monsters" he thought.
"Arghh, that human boy!! How dare he kill my precious minion!!" the demon shouted loudly as it crushed the dog demon with it's own hand.
Then he looked at another one of his minions,he had a cat's corpse in it's hand.
"Good good!" said the demon as he held the cat's corpse by it's tail and swollowed it.
Afte that, the fat demon grabbed it's own arm and tore it off.
A few seconds later, the torn off hand turned into a puddle of black flesh with a nauseating stentch.
After another few seconds, the balck flesh took the shape of a cat, then it actually turned into a balck demon cat with sharp claws.
This entire process only took a minute to be completed.
Harada discovered that the fat demon has intellect yet not much self control,it gets angry eaisly, maybe that is the reason it left the village,so that he dosen't recklessly show himself to other humans and get killed.
"It has tens of balck demon cat and dog minions, yet he still sent a infant demon minion to the village which dosen't have sharp claws or a strong body.
perhaps because only the child demon has ability to create the darkness unlike others with sharp claws" Harada concluded that.
He rushed inside the cave.
"Who are you, what are you looking at you silly minions, attack him!!" The demon shouted and commanded his minions as fast as it could.
Harada calmly said "water breadthing:Third Form: Flowing Dance" as he started rotating his body in a certain rythm.
The demon dogs, cats and infant pounced at him all at once, yet he sliced them in two in just one strike.
But he didn't stop,he continued swinging his sword and started gaining more and more momentum.
Just like in the selection exams,he started killing those demons.
He killed all rhose infant demon minions then
he killed tens of those cat and dog demons.
Every single one of them were easy to kill, but seeing their sharp teeth, one could eaisly guess that even they only need to attack once to kill a normal human.
"Wha-what kind of human are you?!" the fat demon asked, seemingly infuriated.
"hmph, ever heard of a demon slayer?" Harada gave the fat demon a cold snort.
And then he jumped towrds it as soon as he saw the opening thread.
Then he striked.
*shii*
As always,Harada cut the demon in half in just a single sword strike.
As the demon's body was turning to ashes,he said, "Goodbye, stay dead" with a smile on his face.
A few moments later.......
The demon completly turned into ash
"This demon turned out to be stronger than I had expected it to be,but yeah, killing it was satisfying"
As he was thinking that, the talking crow came to him and said.
"Harada,Harada, you have killed your first demon, good job, good job"
"Thank you" Harada replied to the crow.
"Now,your next mission is to go to the village 30 km west from here"
"Get there as soon as you can" the crow said that as it sat on a branch near me.
"Oh okay!" Harada said that as he started running as fast as he could in the west direction.
The sooner he gets there, the lesser the number of the victims will be.
To be continued.....

This story was supposed to be a rewrite of my earlier book, Harry Potter and the Dark Phoenix but the plot ended up so different that I figured I’d just make a new book out of it. I might, at some point in the future, rewrite the earlier book with the earlier plot but that will have to wait for this one to finish. This is an AU so please keep that in mind. Constructive criticism is welcome, needless bashing is not.
