One normal day on Earth, In a normal country, in a small marketplace, there was a boy who had black hair, he had no parents or relatives, he was an orphan.
"Ah what should I cook tonight?", thinking that, the black-haired boy was crossing the road.
His name was Johan, a name that he thought of himself, as he had no parents he knew the value of a family, a name, a relative.
He always wanted a family, a family that he would take care of.
He had a hobby, it was watching anime, reading mangas and light novels as well he started this hobby of his when he was a 13-year-old teenager, he loved an anime named demon slayer because the MC of the story was a great brother to his sister, his family.
This year, Johan was 16 years old now, and today was his 17th birthday.
"Let's see, I think I'll make something simple", just as he said that he heard a loud bang in the sky, it was a lightning bolt.
*Bang!!!*
Before he could react to the sound, darknes filled his vision, he was dead.
After an unknown amount of time, he opened his eyes and saw a light, bright, dazzling light.
"Oh pitiful boy, I'm sorry to say, but you have died because of a small mistake of mine," said the voice.
"Oh I see, so I died, and on my birthday at that!, haha this is so…ironic!" Johan said with mixed feelings.
The ball of light was able to tell what Johan was feeling right now, it said 'Don't feel dejected boy, I will fulfil 2 of your wishes and reincarnate you in a world of your choice, and you can also choose your background'
"Eh, you will do what?.", asked Johan, surprised.

"Exactly what you heard", said the ball of light.
After thinking for an unknown amount of time, he said, "I want to be reincarnated in the world of demon slayer, in the Amado family as Janeiro's older brother, at least 2 years old, and as for my wishes.
My first wish is that I want to have a strong body, Second wish is that I want to have good luck", and just like that, he stated all his wishes without hesitation.
"Okay then, enjoy your life" said the ball of light.

Author's note: Beast is a story that I wrote a long, long time ago. Some of you might have read it then, back when it was posted on reddit over at r/HFY. It was my first webfiction and made in the spirit of that subreddit's "genre" of humanity being awesome. But, it is also a story that has bothered me a little bit. Just like most new writers tend to do, I made mistakes and errors that feel painful to reread. A Space Opera will be a Space Opera, but I had prose that makes present-me cringe. Still, at the same time, the story is still very much a tale I've never given up on. It was my first adventure into fiction: Beast was a crazy adventure with bodysnatching aliens, galactic war, threats from across the universe... Posting this story here is a way to try and redeem myself a bit. I won't call it a complete rewrite, because it's not, but I have wanted to go through and correct some of the major issues Beast has for a long time and put it somewhere more accessible to read (instead of as posts/comments on reddit) and I figure that now is as good a time as any. Additional corrections you might notice are welcome.
