《I'm a Frog?》A domain's size could range beyond comprehension

As the couple of frogs journeyed through the large city, Steve figured that it was the best time to ask a few proper questions.
But firstly he wanted to build a stable friendship, so he asked. "You never told me your name, body-guard lady?"
"Oh sorry," The latter swiftly apologised.
And then she revealed, "My name is Altima."
"That's a nice name," The younger swiftly complimented.
But in actuality he just wanted to get such formalities over with, so he could focus on important questions.
Yet the tall lady still blushed a tad bit, although she managed to hide it well.
Steve was a bit clueless around such a matter, he had other thoughts in mind.
Likewise he recited, "I'm looking for some debt-collectors... is that how they're called around here?"
"Yes that's what frog-kind usually calls them," The latter instantly assured.
To cut the topic shorter, the young man had to salt the truth with some lies; it would make this conversation easier to comprehend.
Unapologetically, Steve did exactly so. "Well, they are very annoying. And I took gold from them when I was drunk... apparently?"
"And now you want to pay them back?" The other was swift to catch up.
With a nod the frogezoid agreed, "Yes. I don't want them to chase me around the city, so I will pay them back.
To carry his ideas forward he had to admit, "But I don't remember where they live, do you know anything about them?"
The latter raised her hand slightly afterwards, obviously she gestured to not worry about such a little issue.
A breath later she confirmed it by word too, "Oh I know where those filthy animals dwell. Or at least I know where one of those kinda groups are."
"That should be helpful," He added but was still sceptical.
The lady's claim recommended that there were other groups of such sort. Which meant that either the search could be extensive, or he might hand out the obsidian coin to the wrong frogs.
So the young one had to follow along with a question, "Do you know any of these debt-collectors by name?"

The memories of the past body owner had not yet struck his conscience. But he thought that it would be helpful if he heard any names.
"I never deal with frogs like that. They are nothing but dirty thieves, and I'm still mad how citizens love them so much!" The tall lady described with quite a bit of rage behind her words.
But then she tried to focus towards the actual problem, once she noticed that the other had no interest in side-topics.
Which was why she described, "You probably borrowed gold from the biggest group in this city. They call themselves, "revolutionaries."
"We'll be visiting them then, I'll probably remember them if I see their faces." The younger swiftly decided.
That was when the other revealed, "They live around the farmlands, that's where they make all of their fortune."
With such a conclusion proven correct, the couple of frogs dwelled deeper in the city. They wanted to reach the other side of this whole domain.
And unsurprisingly, that little walk alone had taken them over three hours by now!
This city was surely massive. And Steve felt beyond perplexed, regarding just how a bunch of frogs managed to build a domain this large?
Sure there were splendid architects around here who could lend a hand, but this entire era seemed medieval and barbaric!
Complexity surely wasn't expected, by civilisations who carried such crude moral standards.
Things simply didn't add up, yet the city of Ankamus was at least twenty-kilometers wide!
Such a portion of land seemed large enough on its own, but that was just the area which was surrounded by thirty-meter tall walls!
An aspect like that pointed out that there were many towns, and villages that were scattered near the city walls!
And from what Steve heard, there were a lot of farm-lands near the city as well. It made sense, this massive domain had to be fed one way or the other?
So the overall territory that the domain of Ankamus possessed, proved itself large beyond comprehension; the naked eye couldn't capture it all with one glance!
But for now Steve's main problem, was that he had to walk a lot in order to reach their intended destination!

Such a procedure was irritating to a certain extent, and they even had to stop a couple of times just to catch their breath.
Such struggle made the young man think about work-ethic in general. And eventually he narrowed those thoughts down towards his body-guard.
"Did I pay you enough for all of this? Do you feel tired?" He questioned, and expected a genuine reply.
With quite some certainty Altima explained, "Not at all! This is a dream job to be honest..."
And then she had to specify, "Most frogs here earn half of what you gave me. And that's barely enough to keep them alive."
"So a thousand gold is enough for you?" The younger had to pressure again.
He still had a hunch that this fine lady had been underpaid, and he wanted to avoid any conflict that could come out of it; that aside he genuinely didn't want to be unfair.
"I don't have a home of my own, or any taxes to pay. So yes, a thousand is more than enough for me." The lady excused.
And right after she had to add, "Most body-guards around here earn just six-hundred gold anyway."
To lighten up the mood, Steve decided to tease the other. "So you scammed me ha?"
"No no. I am stronger than most body-guards." The latter instantly contradicted.
And hurriedly pointed out, "They are hired by businessmen just as figures, and usually don't have to work alone either."
Since this topic expanded she had to remind, "Plus they don't need to follow many laws, so a pay like that is fair for them who barely do any work!"
"I keep feeling that I underpaid you," Steve brought such a topic up again, regardless of the prior expansive information.
A bit irritated at this point, the big lady encouraged with a light shout. "No you didn't! I don't have to pay for anything but food and inns. So this diamond coin alone can help me live well for three months."
With such a statement comprehended and agreed upon, the couple of frogs just continued to walk towards the other end of the city.
After a couple more hours they achieved a portion of their overall goal, they left through the city walls.
But then they had to walk for another whole hour, through the massive farm lands...
Steve had also spent a bit of time appreciating the massive walls. It seemed even bigger on this side, and the architectural details were just too fascinating.
He couldn't even guess how many frogs worked to build a wall like this one, but they likely have been a lot in number!
And these farmlands were even bigger than the domain! These lands had to be at least a few times bigger than the actual city, which alone was painfully difficult to ponder!
All the couple of frogs could see, where flat-lands. Well that and a massive light-blue mountain in the far distance.
Obviously this world was massive, so Steve felt a bit excited that there was a lot to explore in this barbaric country.
Thankfully it was a bit easier to find the debt-collectors, as their places of residence didn't steer far away from the actual city walls.
Altima stopped and questioned a few frogs in the meantime, just so they would find those collectors easier.
Eventually they were pointed out to a bigger house, that was described to be a head-quarters.
The house itself was made out of fine pine-wood. Which proved different in comparison, to all the stone architecture that the couple of frogs saw across the city.
This so-called headquarters likely had around ten bedrooms, so obviously quite a few frogs lived in this place, so they could aid this type of business.
The guards around here were surprisingly friendly too, and they even allowed the couple of frogs to enter this house's main hall.
There, they were greeted by an older frog, who seemingly awaited for Steve to bless their hall with his presence.
Greetings aside, this same long-bearded old man poked. "I see that my men convinced you enough last time. How's your back, dear child?"
