《I'm a Frog?》Two-foot long

The book he currently carried contained a map with seven or so pinned locations. It was theorized that the crown was hidden in one of these places, but it was likely wishful thinking.
This map itself seemed plentiful, as there were quite a few names crammed up in one little page. So this country was likely huge!
Obviously it would take a lot of time to explore every odd and end. So Steve slowly embraced the thought, that it would take quite a bit of time to find this prized item.
For the same matter he wanted to find a book about these ancient fleshed creatures? Information like that, would help narrow down options regarding which location he should explore first.
But for now, the young man simply placed the book down and rubbed his head a little bit.
All of this information could drain most men out of energy, there simply was too much to comprehend.
It was especially hard for him, who was still a stranger to this whole world. A lot of references seemed random and difficult to understand.
However, as his noggin relaxed just a little bit more, he remembered that the system had given him quite some points.
He instantly decided that it was the best idea, to see if he could purchase another upgrade. Dawn was yet to come, so this was a good way to kill some time.
That aside, this city has proved itself rough so far. So it wasn't a bad idea to go down there, prepared with another upgrade or two, rather than to solely rely on brute strength.
Which was why he questioned, "System lady thing... Can I buy any upgrades now? You gave me many points, so it should be possible right?"
[These points aren't exactly a lot, but yes there are a couple of upgrades you could buy]
[As I told you before, there are a variety of purchase options including; primary upgrades, secondary upgrades, intelligence upgrades and arcana upgrades]
[Each of them focus on different branches of progress, while the secondary ones are considered the most random]
[Unsurprisingly, you can only buy secondary upgrades for now as the amount of system points you have are low]
Steve felt satisfied with these conditions, so he blurted out. "I'm okay with that, could you tell me what there's to buy?"
[Yes of course]
[Purchase option number one = Unlock the poisonous tongue attribute]
[Price = ninety system points]
"Oh what is that?" The frogezoid was instantly tempted to ask.
[I can't tell you much information about that, as you would need an additional upgrade in order to know more details about purchases]
[But the name itself should give you enough information,]
Although he thought that the system was stingy, the upgrade itself seemed useful enough.
He didn't want to stick his tongue out for any reason whatsoever, but poison sounded like a useful tool.
So he was almost sure that this was the upgrade he would buy next, but the frogezoid was also curious about the other option.
He wasn't in a rush anyway, so it was worth it to hear the system out.
[Purchase option number two = Unlock the visual information chart]
[Price = one-hundred-and-twenty system points]
A price of such a volume certainly sounded high. And at this point, Steve was scared to ask just how expensive the future upgrades were.
However he also picked up another hint regarding this second upgrade, and he didn't shy away from questions either.
Steve instantly weighed in, "A tab like that would help me get more hints out of you, right?"
[You catch up fast, well at least sometimes]

"I'll take that as a compliment," He added. Although he understood that such praise was half-assed.
[You are right in a way. An upgrade like that will give you access to more information]
[But these visual tabs will be solely related to your level-to-level progress. I can't tell you much about this world,]
A bit swiftly he answered, "Fair enough."
And then he instantly sunk into deeper thinking. He wanted to figure out which upgrade to buy, as he understood that it was difficult to obtain system points.
Considering the expenses that these purchase options had, he didn't need much math to know that only one of them could be picked.
That was the whole reason behind his entire contemplation. Eventually it seemed like the best idea was to buy this poisonous tongue upgrade.
It was just a rough guess, but he figured that such an attribute could be used in combat. And in a barbaric country like this one, anything that aided combat was a tool worth praising.
So after a moment, he unleashed a sigh that signified quite a few signs of stress, and figured that it was the best time to speak out.
"Can I buy the tongue thing?" He pressured.
And the system instantly informed, [Confirmed]
Within a short moment, Steve felt a slight discomfort developing around his short jaw-line.
But what he did not expect whatsoever, was for his tongue to stretch out two-feet long out of his mouth!
The tongue itself didn't hurt in any recognizable way, but the discomfort that came from the lack of familiarity, was truly immeasurable!
He stood up like a straight plank thanks to shock, and put in quite some effort to comprehend the presence of this worm-like, pink flesh which hung out of his mouth!
Surely this wasn't so easy on his conscience, but eventually he managed to adapt; well at least after a mouthful of curses.
And with a bit of man-handling, he managed to shove his two-foot long tongue right back where it belonged.
Yet that was when he recognised the most bizarre part yet, it truly was difficult to ponder.
This long tongue should have taken more space in his mouth by now, if not all of it. Such a thought did sound reasonable.
But contrary to what basic science would recommend, his mouth felt exactly the same regardless of size differences!
It seemed that his tongue had somehow instantly reduced in size. Somehow, it has transformed into a simple five-inch piece of wobbly flesh!
[Upgrade complete]
[Ninety system points consumed]
[Sixty-five system points remaining]
This whole upgrade was the most bizarre one so far, but at least the system decided to shed a bit of light to this odd scene.
[As you might have figured it out, your tongue can grow longer upon will now]
[But note that it could take a few hours to fully understand how it functions. You'll learn how to keep your tongue at a preferred size]
[The tip of it is coated with poison, so you best be watchful with it around frogs that you don't want to harm]
After he put in some effort to calm down, Steve grasped a mental clarity strong enough to develop questions with ease.
Which was why he pressured, "How dangerous is this poison? I'm already in a lot of trouble, it would be bad if I accidentally killed someone."
[Oh your poison can't even kill a child, don't worry about that]
[As for how strong it actually is. Well, you will get a taste]

The Madec Legacy
The dawn of Emotion Based A.I.s is here, John is the fifth test subject to have an AI implemented in his brain, and so far the first one to survive. Blinded by the dream of immortality, the researchers push the tests to inhumane standards. John is obligated to take part in sessions of torture designed to test the limits of the AI influence over the physical and mental health. What was supposed to be a new beginning in life turns into living hell. An (un)lucky twist ends his life. John then reincarnates with his AI in a new world where a System influences the interaction between Magic and Matter. With seemingly limitless potential and a game-like system influencing the world, the hero sets on his journey. --AUTHOR NOTE, PLEASE READ-- I will state here my promises to you, potential reader: 1. No harem! I don't trust myself to make a harem feel natural or healthy, I never met any person who has a personality that can adapt and live in a harem for reasons that are not monetary, so I can't draw inspiration from real life. Sorry!; 2. The enemies will not be bland and illogically mean. Some may feel like that at first, but I will take great care in fleshing them out, trust me. You may end up hating some, but you won't be able to deny that they had their reasons for what they did; 3. I am using a paid (and expensive) automated editor tool, and I take longer to write because I take my time in editing the stuff. I am aiming to improve and I will not shy away from constructive criticism, nor take offense for no reason; 4. Characters will die and will suffer, some will get over the tragedies and improve, others will not be as resilient. 5. This novel has a lot of ground to cover, it is neither a short story, a manual on crafting, or the script of some action scene. There will be both time skips and oversimplifications of some actions for the sake of moving the story forward. Time skips will be more prominent in the first 30 chapters. I will describe crafting processes and fights with more detail if they are essential for the chapter; 6. If I took my time describing something, it's because it is important. I hate novels that waste time describing useless stuff. If you skim over something, the chances are that something in the future will not make sense. I am an adept of "Chekhov's gun" principle; 7. I already have 31k words on my auxiliary documents, I have a plan for the story, and I will not be making changes even if someone ends up noticing some foreshadowing and figures out what will happen. The story comes first. 8. I have a wife, a job that demands 9h every day and courses related to my job (lawyer) three days of the week, it's unlikely that I will be able to do mass releases at all. I will have a healthy amount of chapters to be able to post at least 1 chapter every day continually. Don't worry. 9. I will read all the comments. I will listen to all you have to say and will try my best to accommodate demands as long as they do not hamper the path I prepared. 10. There is an arc that spans the entire novel. Each volume will be an arc in itself while progressing a little bit of the main arc. Every arc will have one or more main antagonists. I think that's it! Thank you for reading it all. Have an awesome time reading my first novel!!

Galactic Fist of Legend
In the year 2018 a bright star appeared near Earth. Humanity as a whole was briefly introduced to a race of beings far beyond their understanding. During that brief interaction a proclamation was made, Defeat the Grand Emissary or become the eternal slaves of those who had arrived at Earth. The only chance for victory was for people all across the globe to make a choice. When prompted to become a champion and a play a bizarre game of life or death they could choose yes or no. Those who chose no, went about their lives afterward. All memory of the event was lost despite the fact that their very existence as a free species hung by a single thread. Will those who said yes manage to survive the horror of the game and become strong enough to defeat the Grand Emissary. Can one of them become... The Galactic Fist of Legend. Also, it's a comedy. Pretty obvious, right? Notes: This story will contain graphic violence, stupid humor, nudity, sexiness, and maybe I'll give the main character a pet cat or something. I don't know yet. Still, you need to be pretty mature to properly take care of a pet. Notes2: This story is my answer to stories such as Gantz, Terror Infinity, Battle Royale, Btoom!, and strangely enough... Captain N: The Video Game Master. It is an original story, but it does seek to give a similar vibe to some of those tales of legend. However, it is not meant to be an overly serious tale as I have decided that the new stories that I release in the coming year will be mostly comedies.

The Joy of Evolution
"Alright, so I have this idea, a completely original one by the way, never done before." I say. "Alright, lets hear it." You reply happily. "What if you got trapped in the body of a tentacle monster that looks like a virus in a world that is like a videogame, with skills and... whoops slip of the tendril there, what I meant to say is Mutations and Levels as you evolve your way up from being that lowly creature into a slightly better lowly creature, all the while, an evil devil person watches over you for entertainment purposes." I say making weird hand gestures across the table. "Oh and that main character used to be a human male and uses its past experience as one to survive in this new world as a little mass of flesh." I pull out a little ball with suction cup tendrils and show you. "So, what do you think?" " I dont know seems, a little sameish, I think Im gonna go." You say as you start to get up from your worn but still plush velvet chair. "Wait" I sigh, " I didnt want to do this but you leave me no choice, I promise you an extremely diverse harem..." The door closes as you leave. "They'll come back." I say hopeful. Cover: https://phil.cdc.gov/Details.aspx?pid=21073
