More seriously, chapter 30 marks the end of the first ark, and even though I already know what I want to write next, I'll probably need some time to sort everything, so the story stays consistent and not too confusing.
For this reason, and also because I'm committed to develop my characters' identity, I started another novel in order to regroup flashbacks and side adventures. I don't want to force anyone to read through them, so I prefer doing this than posting flashback chapters inside the main story.
This side novel is called WileSideQuest - originality! - and as mentioned earlier, you won't need to read it to follow the main story. Currently, it's about Alice's adventure since she started the quest. Each chapter will be fast-paced and the style should vary a lot from Sam's struggles, as -I won't hide it- Alice is an OP character.
There will be 10 of those -like the number of struggle before the 10th? What a coincidence- with one posted every 2 days. I'll resume the main story soon after that I think.
That's about all I wanted to say.
On another subject, I really enjoy writing this story, and the reason I post my story on rrl is to improve my writing and world building. That's why I want to give my special thanks for the comments and suggestions you gave me, it means a lot. (^-^)
Also, I was told you should encourage your reader to review, rate, comment and such to receive more. So... consider yourself strongly solicited.
EDIT: The 10 chapters are already out and the main story had resumed.

The world of Terra holds a very interesting and unique pastime, a game called Dungeon Wars. The game was developed after an accident created a form of Artificial intelligence that was able to create, and sustain it's own miniature habitat with an ecosystem based off of the creatures that began as it's 'start' This in turn created a craze of a new, and somewhat fun method of research that grew and became a game. They sold these A.I units for a modest sum, along with starter races, and from there it took off to become something larger, and greater. Welcome to the Dungeon Wars, a tournament based system where gamers can earn the points needed to increase their Dungeon pet A.I. quicker than natural means, and earn rare and prized races to add into their miniature ecosystem.

This is a short story about a naive and inexperienced boy. A boy who thinks he is a man already and decides to test his luck in a dungeon full of bounty. Bounty in a shape of monsters, minerals and other resources. The things get tough and he meets a mysterious girl. Someone, he had never seen anyone like her before. The unusual meeting leads to an unusual relationship and his adventures continue. His goal is to form a party and reach the bottom of The Dungeon Tower Babel.About the fiction:The main protagonist is not OP. He is just average everyday guy so he will make a lot of mistakes and poor desitions.There will be some GameLit elements like [Skills] and [Monsters] but they will be very light.Some teenage drama can be expected but I will try not to overdo it.This is a short novel so expect around 50k words and ~2k words per chapter, (4-5 chapters a week).

His little sisters friend that stutters and blushes from embarrassment when talking. Her innocence pulls Xavier in. He knows what he thinks is wrong, he knows. Yet he can't seem to get the small, 4ft11 girl from his head. Maybe she's the better escape he's been looking for. ~~~~~~~My body held her captive between me and the wall. Both my hands by her head as I stared into her eyes. Never in my life did I think I'd go for a girl younger than me, but she drew me in. Her innocence is holding me captive like my body with her and the wall. Her chest heaved brushing against mine with ever inhale. Her light brown eyes staring into mine, glossed over. My eyes started to blur yet I didn't miss the tears falling down her soft cheeks. A hand of mine reached up making her flinch hard. More tears fell down her cheeks so I lifted my hand more, but slowly and wiped her tears with my thumb. "I will never harm you Nevah. Never." I whispered and pressed a small, soft kiss to her lips before walking away.
