《Psycho in a fantasy world》Chapter 8

After killing those wolves and putting their supplies in my inventory, I went back to the cave to relax and wait for the morning. The next morning I woke up from the cold stone ground and headed to the lake to wash off the blood from last night's hunt.
I took my time in the lake that morning, as I wanted to head to a local village afterwards, as well as buying some materials to build a cabin I planned to sell the herbs I stole and maybe plan for future 'interesting' events.
After being fully washed and dried I took out the leather armour I 'borrowed' from the mercenary boss and put it on, it fit but only just it seemed I was growing more these days.
after equipping the armour I headed to the road I was I killed that merchant and slowly walked on the side of the road . I didn't notice anyone on my way only the light breeze and the hateful sun wich scornfully glared at me.
After walking for about a mile I came upon a large stone wall, the wall branched for miles and had a large wooden gate where the road connected. Looking closer I could see two guards wearing sturdy armour and holding a long pike. as I got closer to the guards I heard one call out in a commanding voice.
"Halt in the name of prince George!"
'Prince George? must be the person controlling this town. Sounds like a fucktard if you ask me'
then the other guard in overly large expression that kinda pissed me off said
"state your name"
"Jack" I replied bluntly not bothering
"show your mana card!"
"oh mana card I don't have one is there any other way I can come in"
'what the fuck is a mana card'
"there is no another way to enter without a mana card, however, if you have lost or dropped it you can get another one !"
"okay I think I'll do that can you guide me to where I am supposed to go?"
The guard rudely said nothing instead turning to a small door by the gate opening it and marching inside, I followed behind the stupid guard and sat down opposite to him in this small wooden room.

"Place your hand on the mana card and circulate your mana after that your name will be verified and you can enter."
'shit what if this fucks up and they find out I am a murder'
I slowly took the card and circulated my mana seeing the card with my name in a pitch black dot I thought
'that can't be good, okay I have a plan'
I stood up and walked to the guard
"please show me your card!"
okay here's my card, I took the small wooden slab and should it up through the roof of his mouth with so much force my hand and the card came out of the back of his head I pulled out the card and quickly washed off the blood with the water cantine on the guard's belt.

I then proceeded to hide behind the wooden door and waited...
curious the guard walked over to the door as he walked in the door the door slammed shoot revelling me with a huge Cheshire smile as I said
"welcome nice of you to stop by!"

after cleaning myself up I decided to have a little fun game I hung the bodies on the coat hangers in the room and took off their armour, then I slowly carved a symbol into their chests and walked into the town making sure no one saw me.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
After I was far away from the crime scene, I started to look around.
This village was truly a nice place to live, large wooden cottages old-timey bars and medieval architecture that just made everything so distinct
'shame I'm going to burn this down some day.'
okay, so the first thing I need to do is sell off some herbs so I went to a store with the words 'zar's emporium of alchemy and botany' above it on a wooden sign in neon blue paint.
as I opened the door to the shop I noticed the wide variety of plants and animals stocked up on shelves everywhere in the shop making it very cramped. old foggy jars held tongs and legs of different creatures and exotic plants would grow out from the shelves creating a canopy over me. as I neared the counter of the shop I noticed a door with a label with the words 'storage room' on it, do they seriously have more of this weird shit in the back!

the counter was manned by an old man who despite his age probably being close to 90 looked lively and had a ginormous quirky smile on his face. circular glasses adorned his oval face just between the grey hair on the side of his head. the man had a huge bald spot on his head but a bunch of hair on the side that peaked out crazily. A goatee adorned his chin somewhat contrasting with his plain white top and pale pants.
"hello I'm zar how may I help you"
"hello I'm looking to sell some herbs"
" well you don't look to be carrying them do you have some type of space magic ring," the old man said sarcastically not believing someone dressed in cheap mercenary armour would have something along the lines of the expensive space rings.
"well something along them lines" I stated calmly
the man's face looked shocked for a brief second before he like a true business man looked calm and adapted to the situation.
"let's see what you got!" the old man replied excited at the prospect of getting some goods.
I left zars emporium 2000 gold higher, money works quite easily here
100 copper makes a silver 100 silver makes a gold and 10000 gold makes 1 crown coin.
For reference, a middle-class family in this village could live off a minimum of 20 silver a year. crown coins are basically reserved for the absurdly rich nobles and royals who want to buy land but don't want to carry around millions of gold.
after leaving the shop I headed to the blacksmith is spotted early while heading to the blacksmith I noticed a crowd of people surrounding a large pit. after some, enquiries I found out the pit is where disputes are settled as no fighting is allowed outside of the pit, both combatants have to agree when entering the pit and any fatalities must be compensated with 200 gold to the losers families, however injuries do not have to be paid no matter how bad or life threatening as long as they don't die in the arena.
anyway after scoping out the arena I headed to the blacksmiths. it was less wooden than other buildings holding lots of stone and iron and red flames and smoke surrounded the blacksmith. as I entered the blacksmiths I saw anvils and forges, as well as shiny new swords and armour, hung up for adventures to buy.
standing next to the anvil smashing a sword-like metal with a hammer
was a large muscular man in a dirty brown apron with black hair and a full beard.
"hello I would like to buy a lumberjack axe," I said to the blacksmith
suddenly a huge bellowing laugh came out of the black smith's mouth as he stopped hitting the metal and dismissively turned to me with a raised eyebrow before saying.
"do you really think you should be a lumberjack you look like a twig, your really small"
"I didn't come here for your opinion I came for an axe if you want to test my strength then test it," I replied calmly however inside i was seething with anger and ready to unleash hell's fury.
"okay if you can lift that block of iron over there ill give you my best axe however if you can't you pay me for the axe and leave with nothing! sound good" the blacksmith said this in a smug tone sure I would not take his offer
"deal," I said as I soon heard the blacksmith snort.
i walked over to the block of iron and before I had even lifted up the iron the blacksmith had already started a condescending rant
"you kids come in here cocky and arrogant thinking you're strong because your mum and dad said so but your truly just week give me my money"
however, as he opened his eyes from his condescending rant I stood in front of him and dropped the iron block where he stood before saying
"Ill be taking my axe know"
