Death yells angrily but his lips are loose causing some of his words to be slurred, “Cole! How dare you! You insolent fool! How DARE you! This is my world! This is my dominion!”

I wish he had his ears so I could shut him up…

“Yes you’ve defeated my Blood Hunters. You’ve defeated me. I won’t try to say I understand the luck required for such a feat but here we are. It doesn’t matter though, for you, once again, are too late! I told you before and I tell you again, you never stood a chance! For now I have in my possession another Ultra Blood Hunter! The most powerful hunter we could have ever hoped to create.”

Cole is taken aback by Death’s claims. He looks back at the others to see if they are having the same panic attack reactions as him.

Another?! We were already no match for any of the other Ultra Blood Hunters, and this one is the most powerful one he could have ever created? We’re too tired to fight another one!

Death waves signaling his creation to exit the bunker. This new hunter is surprisingly more grotesque than the last Ultra Hunters. What steps out is a combination of two creatures combined into one. Black skin, two legs, four arms, and two heads concealed under one large chrome helmet. An exoskeleton traverses its body with huge mechanical joints. A series of lights blink at the joints. Blue lights on the left, and red lights on the right.

“Haha! I told you! Now I have the most powerful Ultras, Alpha and Omega, combined into the same being! He’s so special we had to give him a name. Something no other Blood Hunter has been worthy of. Apeiro! Bwahaha! A creation combined to have infinite power and strength!”

Cole is stunned. His head is spinning with thoughts of remorse for Alpha and Omega. If he didn’t use his power on them then they would not be fighting this creature now.

Death finishes by throwing his arm forward, “Now Apeiro, attack!”

Apeiro’s red and blue lights glow bright purple as it lunges over Death. Powerfully dense spirit energy fills the air making Cole’s knees feel weak. Again with another powerful lunge Apeiro aims towards Cole. Cole’s vision becomes blurred with purple. Though this purple is different in hue and not as vibrant. It takes a second for Cole to realize what just happened. Byson had jumped in front of Cole completely absorbing the oncoming attack. His huge purple wolf pelt filled Cole’s vision in passing.

Apeiro and Byson struggle for a few seconds before coming to a stop. Their arms interlock forcing them into a standstill. Each of them pushing against each other refusing to back down. One with the ability to generate infinite power, and the other with infinite strength to match his opponent. Together they enter a stalemate, unable to backoff from each other. It’s obvious from Death’s face, he is just as surprised as he is fearful. He thought for sure his infinitely powerful hunter would have dominated this battle.

Before he could do anything an extra feature of terror comes over Death's face as he enters a new realization. He has been ensnared. He has entered a trance. Justice’s trance. She hasn’t touched him yet but she’s close enough now that her power is starting to take effect. He buckles to his knees, unable to move his body. His peripheral vision rapidly blacking out. Justice slowly walks towards him with her hand held out, her blindfold and gloves already removed. Her determined look shares a slight smirk. Death watches as her movements become increasingly slower.
