《Mountain's folly》3. What Chu doing?

The width of the mountain was something to behold as well. Three times as wide as any of the other mountains in the surroundings. It was impressive. Even with my muted senses and weak new cultivation base, I could sense the giant formation around the mountain, It was truly something. My acting skills were up to par, The elder looked satisfied with my reaction. "This will be your new home."
His power suddenly surged around him and the ship, as I felt us pass through another more potent formation. My god, they did have quite some protection. " There are many stages of Cultivation, You should only be concerned with the first three for the moment. Qi gathering, which you have almost reached the end, Is just the beginning, Nexts comes foundation building, After that comes Core formation. That is where the true journey of cultivation begins."
With a look of awe in my eyes I turned to the elder with sparkling eyes. " What Stage are you sir" With a bit of majesty as a breeze he created twirled his cloak around slightly. " I am quite a bit above Core Formation, I reached the Nascent Soul Stage just over thirty years ago now."
I looked deadpan for a second. "isn't that just the stage above core formation". He coughed slightly the majesty around him fading for a second before it came springing back, an even new font of Power. "No, Young one, After Core formation comes the golden core Stage, Then Nascent Soul. I am quite a bit above Core Formation as I said." Putting on a suitably impressed look, mixed with just a hint of chagrin.
" My apologies Elder, I shall not make the mistake again." He ignored me once again as another person approached the Ship. "Elder Jurit, Fantastic, Here is the child I wish for you to test, He has recently undergone a tribulation with the Ghost Devouring Sect and I would just like you to make sure he was okay, and that he had no soul damage." Feeling the power of the approaching elder filled me with a little consternation. He was stronger than my Prime Soul. That I could make out for sure. He also had a firmness in space that spoke to the fact that earthen powers were no longer his sole focus. "Come Child" With a surprisingly soft voice, he landed on the boat putting his palm to my forehead. He remained still for a few seconds. Not a hint of motion. Before a purplish light emanated from his hand. I felt it infuse me and try to find any signs of corruption. Luckily he wasn't stronger or else I would be a bit more worried. With grandfathers protection I was going to be just fine. The soul lines totally ignored the inconsistency's that were still present in my fusion. Ones that will take proper mediation to mend. Emerging from his stupor he turned to Elder Uirn. " He is well, Some small soul damage but nothing out of the ordinary, Id would say he is a perfectly healthy specimen."

Leaving as quickly as he came Elder Jurit leaped off the Boat in quite the fashion before he flew back towards the Sect as quite some speed. "Quite the eccentric, Still very strong, it would do you well to be on his good side Young One." With a nod I went back to staring at the very impressive scenery, only becoming more surreal as we got closer. We were actually further away then I had initally thought, It taking us another half a day before we landed just outside a giant pavilion surrounded by quite a few huge buildings.
Walking out of the ship we came to a stop in front of a group of Cultivators wearing a very different style of robe than anyone Id ever come across from the Towering Mountain Sect. "Warrior Chu Itry" was all the introduction the Elder made before he strode quickly off, followed by his team. I was stopped from following by this new Warrior. "You will be under Elder Peng from now on, I am his chief disciple Chu Itry " I bowed slightly before him, in a half attempt at a polite bow.
"Greetings Senior Brother, I am honored to be here" Nodding with acceptance he gestured for me to follow him as he quickly strode through the pavilion, It was quite difficult for me to keep up, having to move into a jog to even begin to keep up. He looked back to see where I was after some time. He quickly approached me when I had fell quite a bit behind. " My apologies, I often forget myself and my younger brothers and sisters of their capabilities. It has been a while since master has taken in a qi gathering apprentice. I will keep pace with you from now on. " Coming to a stop with a few deep breaths I thanked him as well I could. He gestured for his group to move forward without him as he kept pace with me.

" So Bryen, How do you feel about the sect so far. If I may be so bold to call you that" appearing to calm myself with a breath " It is quite overwhelming, I have never seen anything of such scale before, How is the mountain possible?" That was an honest feeling inside me, I had truly never seen something of that scale before till now. " That will come in time, For now I need you to focus on reaching Core formation so that Master can begin teaching you. Until then I will be taking charge of your education. So work hard and all the secrets of the sect will eventually be revealed." Taking a storage ring out of his robe, he handed it to me with a quick hand. " In there is everything you should need. You have full access to the lower floors of the library, Just call me on our communication token If you have any issues." With a nod and a small bow we continued into a large building.

The FPD (Fart Police Department)
The FPD (Fart Police Department) The world’s norms and ethics have drastically shifted for the worse after an uncontrollable flatus outbreak absorbed the world’s inhabitant, causing major depopulation on a global scale. Conversely, to remedy the spread of this vulgar contagion, the Societal Gods who were partially indirectly responsible for causing the outbreak, implemented certain strict measures for the servile humans to follow. These strict policies were commonly known to the general public as Fart Commandments. Thou shall not relieve themselves in public without following the proper guided measures; thou shall not relieve themselves in private without adhering to the strict guidelines; each new-born and younglings should be taken to the nearest medical facility regularly for inoculation; loose bottoms shall not be tolerated at any governing venues and face-masks should always be worn appropriately. Failure to adhere to the above commandments would result in a mandatory life sentence without a court appeal or probation unless they are of influential births and have authoritative backers. In this twisted society which had been established today a model young female who adhered to the strict policies all of her life without questioning, accidentally broke one of the Fart Commandments and found herself entangled with a rebellious group of uncouth individuals who opposed the Societal Gods. To regain her innocence and social standing among the civil society, this young lady dared challenge the Societal God’s ruling by utilizing the absolute thing that they detested the most which were the destructive vapours of her flatus. Certainly, she will suffer the excruciating consequences of defying her lords’ commandments. Delicate as Glass
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Nuri, an [Assistant Glassworker], only has a single Skill. It’s really not fair. He’s worked in the hot shop his entire life, following in his father’s footsteps after his parents passed away, but he’s stuck. Despite possessing above-average talent as an artisan, he still hasn’t shed his [Assistant] status, gained a second Skill, or even leveled enough to reach the first Threshold. Besides, he’s bored; most days he daydreams of adventure and becoming a hero, or pines for the renown that’s sure to be his if he evolves his Class into a [Master Glass Smith], but nothing ever changes—until suddenly, fate strikes, and nothing is ever the same again. These days, Nuri sees more magic, prestige, and adventure than he can handle as he gets swept up in realm-shaking conspiracies and desperate fights for his life. Maybe a boring life wasn’t so bad after all. Disclaimers: 1) Names were mostly chosen through random generators and aren’t necessarily final. If they seem derivative or boring, blame RNG. 2) Skills, Classes, levels, and the entire system is currently a work in progress; please be kind if it’s not very well fleshed out yet. 3) This is the first full-length novel I've set out to write without a single plot point ready. I had nothing in mind other than a recent visit to a hot shop. Molten glass is pretty awesome. 4) Related, I know much less about glass than I’d like. I did some research, but mistakes are bound to happen. If you have a correction, thanks! Please be polite about it. 5) The prose is my experimental attempt at first-person, present tense. I realize it may not be everyone’s preference, but I hope you’ll give it a try anyway!
