Time passed like water down a river or a bird falling from the sky: if it goes on for long enough you stop caring. There were no lessons for the next week, i however still had my duties as a servant. However now i was pretty sure that the clear liquid they drank for breakfast was the juice of some kind of fruit.

"Myth." The lady sapphire called out.

"Yes my lady?" Was my response.

"Go tell the stables to ready the horses." She commanded.

"Yes my lady." I complied, like a person who new where the stables were, passing the jug to another servant and quickly leaving. Decending to the main entrance and exiting to the castle's exterior, bathing in the morning sunlight. I looked around walking the castle's perimeter looking for a horse or signs of horses.

Finding the stables was easy with the help of good building design and entring was easy with the help of poor security. The stables was a wooden constuct that looked to be able to house two dozen horses in individual stalls but on count only had eight.

"Hello?" I called out in hope of not having to instantly learn how to saddle a horse.

A freckled woman with hay stuck in her hair stuck her head out of one of the empty stalls, "Want something?" She asked.

"Lady sapphire wants the horses readied." I relayed.

"Oh, right, yeah." She spoke with a mix of surprise and relief. "Tell her that they will be ready momentarily."

"Sure." I say, and leave, exiting the stables.

"Let me help." Says fennel.

I turn, looking back at the stables, "weird." I say.

I return to the entrance. Rose is standing there impatiently. She sees me, "Aren't the horses ready yet?"

"Momentarily." I speak. "Where is your mother?"

"She said something less conspicuous than her noble clothes for shopping." Rose said then threw a small pursed bag to me. I looked inside, it was filled with gold coins. "You're buying." She said. I looked at her. "And carrying." She added.

"Uh, one moment." I rush inside and picked up my cloak and placing it in one of its pockets and the money in the other and return to Rose.

"You're still wearing that?" Rose criticized.

"It's warm." I responded.

"How? It's not even in one peice." She questioned. "And its not that cold."

"Look the horses are here." I said pointing at the three horses being led by the woman from the stables.

"Oh finally." She said, walking towards them. "Come on." She waved me to follow, so i follow her the short distance across the grass to get to the horses thirty seconds faster. She effortlessly climbs on to the horse.

The woman from the stables passed me the reins to one of the horses, "Have you ridden a horse before?"

"I'm not sure." I say.

"Just get up. You'll figure it out." She said. "I'm Amber if you wanted to know."

"And i am myth."

"And i am bored." Rose said.
