“I am Shigi Yu, one of the elders of the Yu Clan. Now, tell me about you. Who are you and how did you get the robe of the Yu Clan” the old man asked in suspicion. He didn’t even mention anything about why he followed fion which pissed him off.

“My name is farefell. I came from chen province” fion replied coldly. Fion also figured out that his act at the gates were exposed.

“Don’t lie, didn’t you say your name was Fion Yuusha to the girl at counter and to the elderly couple” anger can be seen on Shigi’s face.

“As i expected, you used acoustic genzu technique on me, don’t you? ” Fion sneered as he confirmed his suspicion.

“You … how did you find out ? You are just in mitogene realm and … Most importantly, how did you even know the name of the technique ” shigi’s face twisted. He thought that there were too many mysteries surrounding this youth. The acoustic genzu technique was a unique technique of Yu Clan used for spying. The world Bartlen has different types of special techniques and sound tracing is just one of many. Even there are many variations in this technique and Yu Clan’s acoustic genzu technique is one among them. It is also a blood line technique meaning only Yu clan members could successfully learn this technique.

Generally, When a person speaks, sound waves would be generated and spread out in all directions like a sphere expanding outwards from it’s centre. When these waves pass through Qi in atmosphere, they will cause the Qi to vibrate a little. These acoustic techniques discern these changes, convert it back to voice and relay these messages to the user.

First, the user have to lock on the target with their own Yuan Qi. Then they will made them to follow the target. The shorter the distance the greater the vibrations and more accurately, the messages could be decoded. It also depends on the rank of the technique and the cultivation of the user. If it was a high grade technique, then one can accurately hear the voice from over 100 metres. Yu Clan’s technique obviously was a low grade , mid rank technique, so it’s capability was very poor. Even Shigi had decoded only bit’s of information about fion while following him.

The two basic requirement for learning this technique is that one should have abundance of Qi and great control over them. So, only experts above mitogene can learn this technique, as they would easily fulfil both of these prerequisites.

In addition to this, one can also realise that they were being spied, when their bacteria can recognise Yuan Qi around the atmosphere while absorbing raw natural Qi. Since, Yuan Qi would only be produced by the bacteria, they can easily do this. The reason Shigi amazed was because fion was only a mitogene expert and that too at the entry phase, but he detected his technique and can even say that it belongs to Yu clan. He wondered whether he has any ultimate expert behind him.

Little does poor Shigi knows that it’s all because of Fion’s bacteria and it’s insane speed of absorption and fion became alarmed, the moment shigi used the technique.

The moment he entered the alchemy shop, Fion got the feeling that he was being watched by someone. When Fion’s bacteria realised that there are some Yuan Qi around him, he immediately became alarmed. That’s the reason, he didn’t explicitly reveal himself to the couple, since his words and the words spoken by anyone around him could be heard.

Both gawked at each other for some moments. They each had their own thoughts and processing all the information as they were deciding on their next course of action. Finally shigi moved closer to fion and stood in front of him. When he moved, he didn’t walked like others, in fact his feet never touched the ground the whole time. Fion long took notice of this.

“So he’s a plasmic condensation stage expert …Well, since he said that he’s an elder, it’s only natural that he’s a condensation expert.” Fion thought in his mind. But he was not at all worried about facing him. He has complete confidence that even if he can’t beat him, he can escape easily unlike that time with Lan Je when his resolve wavered.

The plasmic condensation stage is the realm above Mitogene realm. If Mitogene realm is storing Yuan Qi, then condensation realm is about converting that gaseous Yuan Qi into Liquid Qi. Condensing Qi is extremely difficult, since it directly depends upon rate of absorption of Qi. People having only average familia bacteria such as Mitotic earth familia whose absorption rate was meagre, will never get past this stage. If someone gathers all the experts around the world and separated based on their realms, then the condensation realm’s group will have the largest numbers.

But this realm has it’s own magical powers. People reaching this stage will have large amounts of Qi and they can use this Qi to fly for a short time. Their martial arts will become extremely powerful compared to Mitogene realm. This is also the starting stage where one can convert their Yuan Qi into elemental Qi. With elemental Qi, one can use natural elements like fire,water,air and land for their offence. Because of this, they held high status among clans like Yu whose roots are deep.

“I will ask once again, who are you ? and why did you come here ? . If you answer properly, i will let you leave immediately else ” he stopped midway. He was worried that fion has some big background and so he carefully choose his words.

“Since you already heard my name, I will only tell you this, I am from a major clan, and if you offend me, the consequences will be great” Fion intimidated him.

“I don’t care which clan you belongs to, …. Remember that this is the Yu province and you can’t do as you …. please. Also, our young master got accepted as a candidate in bloom campaign. Hope you knows what is bloom campaign right …” Shigi was startled by the Fion’s intimidation. Afraid to lose face, he gathered all his courage and talked back. Bloom campaign was the largest gathering of best geniuses among the kingdom. Partaking in it will rise one’s clan to greater heights as after the training was over, they will be extremely powerful and their future prospects will be unlimited.

When Fion heard the word second young master, he limbed a bit. He thought for a moment and replied

“Ohhhh … you mean Lianshu ? he got accepted into Bloom campaign !… not bad … not bad, that lad really got some talent in him” Fion nodded his head as he talked to himself. Shigi was fuelled with anger but he showed no such thing on his face. From fion’s statement, he can guess that Fion knows second young master and also he’s even a greater genius than him. He finally concluded that fion was from a huge clan, which his Yu clan cannot offend.

“From your speech, it seems that you are very close to lianshu, am i right ? “ Fion guessed.

Shigi showed a smile as he replied ‘Young master is correct, I was one of the teachers of second young master, teaching the clan’s martial art when he was younger. More over, my son was also a faithful retainer of second young master. His name’s shinshi. Perhaps young master might have heard from our second young master” Even his tone softened as respect invaded his speech. Shigi can easily connect the dots if the person standing before him was a friend of his young master. The robes should have been given by Lianshu and even he must have heard the acoustic technique from the second young master.

On the other side, Fion’s heart exploded like a volcano, erupting after being dormant for a long time. His whole body trembled and then he slowly stepped forward a little. When shigi saw the eyes of fion, he was scared to wits. Fion’s eyes were completely red which even overshadowed his dark pupil. Shigi felt like he was in face to face with a demon.

“Young master ! is ……. …. anything wrong ? ” Shigi’s voice wobbled but he somehow gathered his courage and asked.

“Say, Does your other child’s name is vercin ? ” a voice so deep and cold reached shigi’s ears. He immediately figured out that something was wrong, still answered him so as to not anger him.

“You are very correct young master. Did my second young ” before he finish his sentence, a large Qi explosion happened and he was swept away by it. He immediately used his own Qi as a shield and protected himself. The whole surroundings were thrown into chaos as trees and rocks were broken and smashed into smithereens. There was a crater of about 10 meters diameter formed at the source of the explosion. Every Beasts near the periphery howled and roared as they runaway in opposite direction from source of explosion.

Shigi knows that staying here will only complicate things and tried to leave. And so, When he turned around to leave, he saw Fion standing like a god of death. The land beneath him continuously cracked, unable to bear the energy of fion. Yuan Qi was covering his entire body as sparks could be seen occasionally around his body. It was due to the ionisation of the particles by the extreme amount of energy which fion was currently radiating.
