《Farblade》Chapter 8- Boss level

When the title "Boss battle" appeared, Kastu asked the others to take the child somewhere safe, while he and Rukia fight the boss.
While Rukia used range, which allows her to see through walls and see enemies from long range. She saw the boss health and it was "10,000" that is level 35. As Kastu and her gather all that information, he used teleport to appear above the boss and right before he was gonna use death touch, the boss used it's range of sight and jump up in the air and smash him down to the ground with a baseball bat.
Kastu losing 2,000 of his health and was about to get stomp on by 50 feet beast, Gray quickly used teleport. While Levy used this chance to used shield so that they can escape, the other monsters that are level 5 appeared. Rukia used her Dragon roar to do damage to them so that Levy can finish them off with sword slicer. The boss run towards Gray and the others, but right before he slams his 40 km long baseball bat. An anonymous player appeared and used berserk (Berserk is a special move that increases the player's abilities massively, but even though it does, the armour and defence decreased massively. You can also only use it once against a payer or boss and can't use it for 10 minutes and can only be found in a boss dungeons). With one slice the player does 5,000 damage on the boss.
The player losing access to use the move again, she makes her escape but wasn't fast enough because when a boss health is lowered, it's level and ability increases, but before the boss could attack her, a sudden voice saying "Dragon.. roar" came directly from the monster doing 1,500 damage to it. As the boss change direction and head to the other player, Gray used teleport and used death touch on him and done 500 damage. Levy then used her perk, which reflects damage. By touching Kastu and taking the damage and using it on the boss, it did 2,000 damage, doing the same amount of damage the boss done to the player. After killing the beast, Gray levelled up to 10, Rukia levelled up to 10, Levy levelled up to 12 and Kastu levelled up to 15.

Rukia shot her arrow at Kastu to heal him, while everyone celebrated on how well they have done, Kastu felt completely useless during the battle and decided to hide somewhere, but before he could leave without anyone noticing, Gray saw him. As Kastu started to get memories of how he was useless and just stand there and let his mum and dad died. He stood there shouting at himself. Gray came and asked Kastu "what's the matter?" Kastu looking at Gray and saying "It's none of your business, just leave and let me be." Gray sat next to Kastu and said: "You're not the only one who went through a tough time, you know". As Gray started to tell Kastu how he was bullied every day in school and felt the need to commit suicide. Kastu slowly felt less sad after hearing all the bad things that happened to Gray. Just because of his weight and how he was different compared to the rest, was the only reason why Gray got picked on. After hearing that, Kastu started to feel more confident in telling Gray his backstory about how his parents died. Gray felt sorry for Kastu and after that, they started to bond more and felt more opened to tell the others.
After a while of the group becoming more closer to one another, Kastu realised someone was watching. As the girl in the corner stared at Kastu, Kastu felt someone was staring at him from behind and decided to turn around. But right when he was able to look at her, she hides, but before she could escape. Kastu used teleport and appeared in front of her. As they started to ask her questions about spawn and how we can't leave the game, she responded by saying "no one she knows, knows about what happened in spawn or why we can't leave." When asked why she was spying on us, she responded by saying "do you guys know a young small boy?" They nodded yes.

Later on, they made it to the kid. She thanked them for looking after her younger brother and said: "my name is Kale and my younger brother's name is Zoldier, if you need any help don't hesitate to message or call me".
*She sent a friend request to all of them.*
*They accepted it*
When Zoldier and Kale left, Gray ask "what happened to people that die?" Kastu responded by saying "they probably respawn somewhere else, right?" As Gray and the others took the chance to wonder what happened to those that died in the game, Gray's Gamertag colour change red and a bracket right next to his name said "murder".

The Villain's Double Life
“The Villain’s Double Life as the Hero’s Mentor," “Demon Nobles Want to Live Too: A Hero-Raising Simulator for the Transmigrated Villain," “Just Because I’m a Villain Doesn’t Mean I Want the World to End!” Cyrus Calvide was the second son of an aristocratic lord; haughty, vain and power-hungry. One day, when his ancestral inheritance manifested, he discovered he was able to steal other’s powers and abilities using demonic magic. Taking this as a sign that he was destined to rule over others and become the new king of this land, he poisoned his father, killed his elder brother, and embarked on the path to greatness, taking advantage of a demonic invasion to consolidate power and harvest the abilities of others in a cruel and bloody fashion. Until he was summarily defeated by the Hero as a mid-game boss battle and executed for his crimes, of course. When a dedicated fan of the RPG “Next to Eden” awakened in the body of the cruelest future Count, four years before the beginning of the game, he pledged to live humbly. He would let his brother lead and support the Hero from the shadows to ensure the demon invasion would be defeated and he could enjoy life in peace. Rather, he would have, if he hadn’t gotten the Hero’s mentor killed in a freak monster attack before the Hero’s training could even begin. How was he supposed to live a life of peace and luxury if the Hero couldn’t stop the end of the world!? Donning a mask, Cyrus took up mentoring the Hero himself; how hard could it possibly be? . . . Four years later, the kind jack-of-all-trades hero Leon had become a twisted powerhouse: alienating his party members, clearing enemy encounters in a single magical blast, and coldly ignoring the affections of the girl whose love would have allowed him to clear the final boss. He seemed to have plastered himself to his Master’s side, instead. Cyrus bit back his despair while the hero reached out to grasp his hand. “Please stop ignoring the saint, Leon; you can't beat the Demon King by grinding stats! You need the power of love, remember?” “Don’t worry, Master,” Leon smiled as he traced the lines of Cyrus’s palm gently, almost reverently. “I have all the love I need.” VDL is two parts plot and worldbuilding, one part slow-build gay romance, starring a man far too proud to admit he's in over his head and the hero who loves him. Should be updating weekly.
