Chapter 26

On the island occupied by an unknown hostile organization, the sun has already risen up and chaos filled the center with a roaring loud alarm sounded throughout the island.

On the main base everyone were trying their best to put out the fire and extract every important files and ammunition from being fueled to the scourging fire.

But somewhere midway from the main base and the hanger, stood two figures with one of them were covered in wounds while the other is already paled in white with a weapon pointed at the person right in front of her.

From both of them, the boy who had a critical condition is more dangerous than the one who had a weapon ready to shot.

The boy, who had a figure of a half-wolf half-human, had a bit pale colored skin and hair colored in whit with a crimson red colored eyes, one could say that he is a harbinger of death.

“Who are you? What did you do to Vayne?” «Erica»

She once more asked a question to the boy who had the similar figure of Vayne but had a different aura.

That person was once known as Vayne Aethersell Colard, but the appearance he had right know is different from his previous self and no one could tell who he is.

After they had climbed on board, Vlad had suddenly lost consciousness and his current appearance now slowly changed back to his previous appearance which it belongs to the person known as Vayne.

Princess, who thrown the rope ladder and the person who closed the door, didn’t even notice the changes that happened to Vayne except for Erica.

Erica kept quiet about it if she was ask, but it seems that she finally remembered about her sister and immediately look to where Eliza is.

Princess then dragged Vayne’s body to a more stable position before treating his wounds and bruises.

Erica at that time gave a sigh of relief when she saw that her sister is somewhat still breathing but it seems that she is already unconscious at the moment.

But the most critical at the moment is Vayne. His wound weren’t just some light wounds or heavy wounds, instead his wound were very severe that it was amazing to see that he still had some vitality although his temperature were slightly cold. He would still live, but he still need some time to recover.

Finally when Erica has calmed down, she went towards the cockpit where the person from before was piloting the aircraft and helping them fly back to the school.

After an hour of flying, they finally see the silhouette of an island from the distance, the Ghuizheal Academy. As they flew closer, an aircraft had made its way towards them and started guiding them.

The Aircraft is armed with an armament capable of blowing them up from sky high. Rocket pods are located under the wings near the hull, right now they are engaged and it is hidden from sight.

Jane is busy communicating on the line, while Princess and Erica were looking after two critical, Eliza and Vayne.

They weren’t directly guided towards the academy, but to a different LZ. They were guided to a to dock where a large carrier that was not there previously and now docked.

As they beginning to land, outside they could see a group of crowds surrounding the Landing pad, it two-thirds of the group of crowds were their worried teachers and some curious onlookers while the rest were equip with some military equipment.

As soon as they were landed, the soldiers began surrounding the unknown aircraft. When the door of the aircraft began to open, all of the soldiers readily aim their weapons towards the first person they saw.

Princess, who is the first to come out, panicked when she realized that all of their guns were pointed towards her. A teacher recognize the person that came loudly demanded the soldiers to lower their weapons.

Next person they saw was Eliza who is being supported by her twin, Erica. Erica lightly shook Princess, when she realized that she was no longer being aimed at, she then instructed them to bring some doctor and carts for the two wounded.

They did not even waste a single second and began to look for an available doctor, the soldiers immediately rushed towards them and they took Eliza from Erica and laid her to the ground.

Two of them immediately tried to rush towards inside the aircraft just to find another person carrying a critical wounded person outside before being laid on the ground.

Jane weren’t suspected as enemy rather as an unlucky victim, after realizing the first three they saw were wearing an unknown uniform.

Before long, doctors along with two carts were brought towards them. Seeing how critical Vayne is right now, they carefully placed him on the cart and immediately rushed him back to the carrier.

Eliza, had been carefully examined before she was brought to a different location. They had said that she miraculously escaped death, but compare to the Vayne, she would live.

The rest, excluding Jane, also voluntarily followed the group that headed towards the carrier.

On the other hand, Jane took advantage of the gathered crowd and disappeared without a trace. What had left was only the cloths that she worn when she brought Vayne out.

Vayne were brought to an infirmary towards inside the surgery room. They could place him inside the medical pod, but first they had to take out all bullets inside his body and fixed his broken bones.

The doctors that saw his grave condition and were shock that he still had the vitality to live with his numerous wounds, and broken bones. But it didn’t prevent them from doing their job well.

After the successful surgery, he was then placed inside the medical pod where he was coated with a gel filled medicinal and healing substance that would repair his body completely.

Although the surgery is a success, his life was still uncertain whether he would live as a hero or a tragic hero.

Somewhere inside the academy, LOKI—Arsur with his eyes closed, listen to Jane’s reports. That also includes of her findings when she had infiltrated the organization.

Jane, from the beginning, weren’t standing instead kneeling on the ground as if reporting a great news to an emperor, not daring to stand until said so.

“I see… So they had began their move… I didn’t thought the day would come so quickly… tell him to continue gather information on the group.” «Arsur»

He then turned around and face towards the horizon.

“I’ll soon inform him… Master, don’t think rude of me. But, why did you decided to help the young half-kin?” «Jane»

“…” «Arsur»

“Please forgive me for my rudeness, Master.” «Jane»

“No, it’s alright. Ten years ago, I was saved by a couple from an accident. Although it was unnecessary do it, still the young girl saved me, pushed me away from the collision.

The young boy risk his life was to protect her and died doing so… It’s because of it, the young child lost both of his parents… So this is the payment of that dept.”

“But, I would be lying if it this is the only reason why I had you reveal yourself.. To tell you the truth, fate played a trick on me. Thousand years ago, an oracle foresaw a figure of a haft-kin, it had a very strong fate that would decide either be a Destroyer or a Savior. Once it’s path had been set, the fate of the world would be decided.” «Arsur»

“T-Then, this mean…” «Jane»

After that, Jane stood up and left without a word to say. Just before she completely left the area, she looked back and only saw a black mist fading away.
