Sorry that it took me so long to update, been busy lately with my job here. Too many designs had to be layout so I didn't had time to write, this time of season is busy here so please be patient for the next piece.

Chapter 18

—Finally, I can now get myself an alliance! Is what they boy happily shouted in his mind.

After the first month ended, he searched into different alliance that he could get to be in the regular easily, but he couldn’t find any good alliance that he can easily reach his goal.

He had been searching for a whole week but at the end he gave up and went to join a random alliance. He worked himself to gain points that he needed to get himself promoted from reserve to regular, he even tried gaining a favor with his squad leader to have him promoted.

A week later, an opportunity appeared right in front of him. He heard from his squad leader that Leader of the alliance is preparing to start a group war with a certain group and this group had no affiliation and were known amongst the freshmans.

Contributing highly to beat this group would likely get himself a favor with the higher ups or maybe get promoted to be a regular.

“—I want you to become mine!”

Is what Alexander, the leader of Vhecule alliance, loudly announced to the wolf boy, leader of the enemy team.

The wolf boys name is Vayne A. Colard, a Top player amongst the freshman this year. He is known as one who use an unorthodox method in-game, yet he able to achieve victory in his leadership.

Sometimes on the game, when ever he wasn’t assigned as a leader of the team he could still survive on his own and he could even turn the tide of the match with his own skills.

The two girls besides him are twin that could be seen like a sun and a moon, the bright Eliza Colard and the calm Erica Colard. Both are also Top player following up to Vayne.

Eliza had a good reflexes while Erica had a sharp kinetic vision, both the twins had an outstanding mobility. When they play together they could deal a lot of damage to the enemy by firing from one place to another.

These three people very skilled and hard to deal with, but with their superior number they might able to beat this group and it seems the field we’ll be using very much favored them. —That is what he thought.

‘Why, why is this happening… shouldn’t it be us suppressing them, this should be just an easy match… so why are we being suppressed by this three people…’

He muttered to himself as he helplessly watch as he run towards the building which were their only hope for surviving this one-sided firefight, they already lost almost four people as they run and hide inside the building.

The crowds gone wild as the fight finally began, there is people who idolized Vayne’s group loudly cheers for them while shouting their names.

It also showed them that the Vhecule’s player from the back panicked and began firing back as they run away.

“UUOOO!! Here it is, HERE IT IS!! Vhecule Alliance is actually forced to run away!” «Commentator»

“This should be expected, they underestimated the challenged team and thought to themselves that this would be an easy win. Each person from the challenged team had their own different expertise, but the most notable is their leader.

They forgot that Vayne’s leadership could overturned the match to his favor, he use many unorthodox method that thinking one step ahead of him wouldn’t be enough.

If you asked me, his adaptation of his is very much in a frightening level, so frightening that he might beat me in a fight.” «Instructor Fujiwara»

“Instructor Fujiwara, you really think highly of them… There is now way that he could actually beat you.” «Commentator»

She was shocked how she gave a high remark towards Vayne and thought that she was joking, Instructor Fujiwara looked at her and smiled wryly.

“It’s true that he can’t beat me in a quick confrontation and I’m sure that he would think so too…” «Instructor Fujiwara»

She was bit relief for a second, but then, Instructor Fujiwara’s changed to a more serious look and stared at her.

“I can beat him if it’s were a quick confrontation… BUT… but if the fight prolonged enough, he might—No, he would actually beat me.” «Instructor Fujiwara»

“….. Seriously?” «Commentator»

She couldn’t find it on herself to believe what the instructor had said and force herself to ask for a confirmation with just a single word, but Instructor Fujiwara didn’t said anything instead nodded as a reply.

Instructor Fujiwara watched the screen with full attention, not saying anything further.

Vhecule alliance successfully retreated to the building and switched from offensive to defensive, completely occupying all side with only their remaining players.

The twin, Eliza and Erica, spitted and assaulted both side swiftly, circling them as they barraged them. The twin figure couldn’t be caught from the video feed but the traces from the bullet flying out from their gun could be seen coming out from the shadows.

The barrage of bullet only did stop when they switched the power on, but they were circled twice before they could switch it on and lost three more player from the run.

What the twin did was a tactic called “Hit-and-Run”, it’s a tactic where a person fire at his enemy on a certain time limit before retreating back to safety. It could be use to suppress a group or cripples them, repeated use of this tactic would show a noticeable result.

There is a Pro and Con to this tactic, the advantage to this tactic is that they one firing could suppress the enemy or cripples them as they circle them or run straight from their side unexpectedly, but the downside is he can’t accurately hit his desired target when he fire sideways as he run.

This tactic is what the twins are good at, because of their good mobility with their good stability as they accurately shoot their targets.

It went quiet when they switched the power on, no gun fire could be heard from both sides. Only the heavy rain and strong wind could only be heard from the field.

Eliza and Erica finally returned back to Vayne’s side after their run, both had about one and a half full magazine left and Vayne still had three full magazine with a capacity of twenty bullets.

The twins right now can’t afford to waste anymore ammo, so suppressing fire is out of the question. They had to accurately shoot their target with minimum release making every single ammo count.

He said to the twins that he would use half of the magazine to snipe the enemy before they breach the building.

He moved to a different spot where he could clearly see the enemy and the cable from the bushes outside, and like what he said he snipe down the enemy that was peaking from the window one after another.

The gun fire noise his gun didn’t made any loud noise thanks to the suppressor that he made so sniping the enemy was made easy for him. He counted three target that stationed near the cable.

As soon as he took them out, they then moved towards the cable and jumped inside from one of the window closed to them.

Now that they successfully infiltrated the building, the only thing left to do is clean up the house.
