Good readers, I’m very sorry that it took me so long for an update. ︶︿︶
I’m just busy with something and haven’t had time writing, and had to rewrite this chapter from the start after finding out that this chapter had too many contradiction to what I wrote before.
Those who want to proofread my work, you are welcome to do so, and I would be thankful for volunteering!
(^ω^)
(っ´▽`)っ So please enjoy this chapter.
Chapter 16
Inside the playing field, the sirens are still going on loudly and the weather was really harsh with every branch and trees swaying violently.
The heavy rains continue to pure down without any intention of stopping. Thunders furiously roar loudly at the clouded sky.
The visibility are its worse, as if the world around them are colored only in black and white. Communication devices that he crafted from maximum to 100 meter radius is now limited to about 30-25 meter radius with the interference of the harsh environment.
His sonar and map uplink are now useless in this map, although he could still somehow make use of the map in an old fashion way by predicting their position by landmarks.
“Uwa…. I’m glad that this suit was invented. The Seals really had it tough going to mission like this…”
Vayne muttered to himself as he remembered some of the record missions of the Seals, Erica felt that Vayne was saying something and asked him what he said but it was answered that it was nothing.
“Okay, listen up… I didn’t expect that we are going to play in this sort of weather. Communication devices and radars are useless in this match. Our visibility is limited, so getting separated is possible.”
He stated the harsh fact the two, to show how disadvantage their situation is with a stern face. But he still continued more of their situation.
“We are disadvantaged by number and fire power, and defending a fort with the three of us aren’t a wise idea and it seems that we’ll be surrounded. That’s why we’ll be taking the initiative, we’re bringing the fight to them.”
The twin didn’t say anything, but their expressions were showing half of disbelief and haft of it were voicing out with questions.
Seeing their expressions, nodded as he had already expected what face they would be showing, and he then gave them each module device and told them to insert it to their power suit.
As soon as they had inserted the modules the suit began to change its color from its usual color to something different, disguising themselves with color of the leaf and mud making them blend in easily without having be spotted even if moving from one place to another.

Vayne didn’t actually completed the Optical Camouflage module, instead he used the Digital Camouflage module that changed the current color to a pixellated pattern of green and brown.
The twin was surprised once again after seeing their suit changed its color in front of their eyes as if the dull color of the suit slowly washed away by this new color, inspecting the suit closely show the pixel color but a far show different results.
At their visor show their teammates contoured by a thin white line even if the focused on it closely, even if half or part of their body part is revealed easily by it. Only if they are part of the same team, the feature of it shows, but if not they are invisible to the naked eyes.
* + * + * + *
The audiences were surprised that when they just witness the Vayne’s team just vanished from the screen, it hasn’t even began and they had already vanished.
[“Oh my… It seems there is some sort of commotion happening right now in the audience, they are claiming that the challenged team are using magic but the staff also claimed that they didn’t find any magic traces in the system.”] «Commentator»
The screen that viewing the place where Vayne’s team used to be appeared a different image of the map, on the east side there is a dots of 26 and on the west side there’s 3 dot.
[“Alright folks, I just requested to input the overview of the map since the challenged team couldn’t be seen in our cameras.
The 26 dots on the east side is the challenger team, the Vhecule Alliance, and the 3 dot on the west side represents the challenged team. Because they appeared on the overview map, they are still in fact in the game.
This shows that they didn’t violate any rules that been set on the game, it shows that they didn’t transported out of the field. What do you think of this, Instructor Fujiwara, Technical Hermine.”] «Commentator»
The Commentator asked the two of what they thought of this, she also noticed that they weren’t so surprised about them disappearing from the view instead they were surprised in a different thing.
[“Fufufufu… I thought that he was crazy at first, but I didn’t expect that this sort of tactic is very effective.”] «Instructor Fujiwara»
[“I know, I even thought that he just wanted to have a flashy appearance and asked me if it can be approved of. Not just battle smart, he is also tactic smart too.”] «Technical Hermine»

Instructor Fujiwara also approved of Technical Hermine’s remark for Vayne’s tactic, the Commentator noticed that the two knows something and she was being kept in the dark.
[“It seems that you already know of this, care to shed the light for us.”] «Commentator»
She didn’t hide that fact that she’s being demanding, after seeing that they really knew about what is happening right now.
Instructor Fujiwara shrugged off her attitude towards them, Technical Hermine didn’t mind it as well.
[“I can’t tell all the details, because he asked us to kept it between us until he himself the one first to speak. But I could tell you this, a day before yesterday, he asked the two of us if his tactic had any sort of violation to the game and whether if is allowed with the use of magic. Anything beyond that need Vayne’s consent.”] «Instructor Fujiwara»
Instructor Fujiwara openly declared this to crowd, hiding her intention of “Don’t bother me, bother him”. But everyone present could already guessed what her true intentions is, “Don’t bother asking, I won’t allow anyone to take away my enjoyment find out even if you are a fellow faculty staff”.
Everyone already know Instructor Fujiwara’s sadistic nature, and if one person didn’t notice it, he / she is oblivious to his surroundings and could only pity them for their own fault. After all, Ignorance is a Bliss.
[“I… I see, thank you for the revelation. Now the match is about to begin in 3…. 2…. 1…. And now it began! The challenged team is heading away from the closest bridge!! Did they perhaps didn’t saw if because of the storm?”] «Commentator»
[“You are half right about that. The reason is because of this.”] «Instructor Fujiwara»
An image of the bridge appear on the side of the over map. On it, they saw that the bridge is racking unstably and it suddenly collapsed down to the furious rushing river.
If they had used that bridge, they would had either loss immediately before going into battle or get separated if one survive from the water or crossing.
Another image appeared in front of the previous image of the bridge, a huge tree had collapsed above ground connecting to the other side. It might not be safe to cross, but at least it wouldn’t collapsed even further once crossed.
[“As you can see, the bridge that was in front of them from the start would be their advantage if the weather wasn’t this harsh. So using it on their situation would be their disadvantage.
On the other hand, the fallen tree could be use as a bridge even if its risky to cross, it is still sturdy enough for them to cross. But if both team as to say priorities heading towards the building, they would arrive at the same time.
Although both distance is now equal, the challenger wouldn’t know if the challenged team are already inside so they are now cautious of being attack from the holes of the building.”] «Instructor Fujiwara»
Instructor Fujiwara explained as she switch from the roped bridge, the fallen tree, and the building carefully to the audience to understand the concept of the action of Vayne’s group.
Helen the commentator is now beginning to understand the movement from Instructor Fujiwara’s explanation and looked back at the video feed.
This time they showed on the where the tree bridge is, position to a better view where they will able to see Vayne’s group crossing.
[“Looked like the challenged team is now getting near the logged bridge, let’s get a better view of them and pray that we get a view of them.”] «Commentator»
She switch to another camera where it was position to view the side of the bridge, there they could see a silhouette crossing the bridge and attaching something from the other side and the that side. Two silhouettes came after next and slowly crossing the bridge.
[“It’s a shame that we couldn’t get a better view of them, but this actually showed that they didn’t actually use any magic in the game. But it’s kinda strange why they appear darker than before they actually vanish from the camera feed.”] «Commentator»
She was dejected that she couldn’t find out the secret of them disappearing from the video stream, and still visible at the same time.
Now that Vayne’s group had cross to the other side, both team are now in a race towards the building to shelter and battle it out in a confined area.
But what they didn’t know is that, Vayne has other in mind. What he plan is to use the building as a bait and slowly cripple them one by one.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
