Chapter 154: Ready to fight anybody
The man is trying to lift up his fist, resorting to using his bare hands now. Relief became into fear. The Ashura isn't done with them. Not even close. They're next to death's door, and Lu Chen wants them to go in.
They knew they're going to be done in. Seeing the bloodied and motionless comrade a few meters away from them, the thugs knew they would become the same in a few minutes. No, maybe even worse. The thugs muster all their strength as they shout, "Please forgive us! We have done wrong!" They even did a dogeza.
The thugs are begging and admitting to their mistake. However, Lu Chen had already started punching one of them. The sound of knuckles making contact with the thug's face is vibrating. Each punch sounds like death's door slowly opening. While Lu Chen punches, he flays his arm around recklessly.
Zhang Jian could tell that Lu Chen is moving by instinct now. From how bloodied up the thug is becoming, Zhang Jian knew Lu Chen might kill someone. He drops the chair and quickly walks up to him, "Brother Chen, let's just stop now. What we have done is enough." If Lu Chen continues to beat them, it might look bad for him. Some of the students are still recording the whole situation even though they're scared. If those five thugs get the same treatment as that one, then it will definitely bite Lu Chen in the ass later.
But Lu Chen gave no response as he got up from the thug, wobbling towards his next victim. This idiot! Zhang Jian quickly grabs onto Lu Chen's shoulders, "Enough is enough, Lu Chen!" When Zhang Jian turned Lu Chen towards him, he saw something that he never expected Lu Chen to make.

His eyes are lifeless and dull. The only thing you can see in them is darkness. And it's like an infection. Like an abyss of darkness that consumes anything that makes direct contact with them. Zhang Jian chokes on the air a bit. Killing intent kept emitting from his whole body. Zhang Jian could tell Lu Chen has changed his target to him. Oh, shit! Zhang Jian brings his fist up. Even if Lu Chen is his friend, Zhang Jian isn't about to let Lu Chen hit him.
Before Lu Chen could charge at Zhang Jian, Feng Meifeng screams out, "Lu Chen! Are you ok?!
Feng Meifeng had come back. And she isn't alone. Behind her are a bunch of teachers. She isn't planning to just flee and leave Lu Chen there. Feng Meifeng went to get help. Too bad, they have come at the end.
The teachers couldn't help but gasp at the sight. Two students are covered in blood. One of them has bruises and scratches over his face, and the other, with his entire body bloodied up. And the six thugs aren't any better than them. All of them are kneeling in front of them while begging for their lives. Did these two do all of this? They couldn't believe rich second generation like them are capable of doing such damage.
Feng Meifeng didn't care if Lu Chen was drenched in blood or not. She rushes up to him, checking to see if he's ok.
"Hey, you shouldn't-" Zhang Jian shouts out, seeing her rush at Lu Chen like that. Can't you read the atmosphere? It looked like Lu Chen would attack anybody if they showed any signs of movement. If it isn't for the fact, Lu Chen is looking like he's almost out of energy, he might have just rushed him.

However, all that worry isn't needed at all. Zhang Jian's analysis is correct; Lu Chen has depleted all of his energy. He tilts back and forth until he starts to fall face first. Luckily, Feng Meifeng made it in front of him, catching his fall. And he coincidently lands onto her chest area.
At first, Feng Meifeng didn't seem to mind it, but when she felt Lu Chen's breath panting heavily on it, her face turned red. But the worry she had for him outweighs her embarrassment at this moment.
She asks, "Lu Chen?" No response. Anxiousness is on her face as Feng Meifeng starts to shout, "Lu Chen! Lu Chen! Lu Chen!" Even though he's still breathing, letting him sleep might cause a problem.
