But after a few minutes, the begging stops. The only sound going on in the school ground is the slamming of the metal bat. Everybody became pale-faced, wondering if the guy died or not? The only person who didn't think this, well, didn't care, is Lu Chen as he continues.

Gu Qingshan looks at Lu Chen with fear and regret in his eye. What kind of monster did we mess with? He thought he would be dealing with just a weak high school kid. Not some kind of crazy bloodthirsty murderer going around for blood. What would happen after he's finished with the five of them? From how crazed Lu Chen is slaughtering one of his men, he knows his men didn't have what it takes to beat Lu Chen.

And he is next after them. Gu Qingshan didn't care if Duan Cheng and his men are dealing with Long Shen. He needs to escape now, or he will be five feet under. Gu Qingshan didn't shout to the others as the man slowly tries to escape by himself. If he had told them to run away as well, Lu Chen would be chasing after all of them.

How could these idiots let themselves be beaten by a bunch of kids?! As he runs, Gu Qingshan blames his men for being incompetent. However, they still have some uses as human shields. The abandoned ones are useless to him now. He will find a new batch of henchmen he will use as tools.

Despite him trying to be secretive, the other thugs are scared for their lives. They didn't want their face to be disfigured. When they turn around, they saw their very own boss running away.

"Boss!" Seeing him trying to leave them behind, the thugs couldn't believe it. They felt betrayed. Their boss is planning to let them out for dead.

Gu Qingshan only looks at them once and then fled the scene. Seeing how their boss is leaving, they couldn't help but curse at how incompetent he is. They wanted to run away as well! One of them shouts, "Quickly! We need to get out of here!" Even though Gu Qingshan is incompetent, he is still their leader. Without him, they became chaotic.

But how could Lu Chen allow them to escape after they have come all this way for him? Lu Chen wobbles side to side, but then he charges! He didn't care if he's injured or not. They had to pay the price for attacking him. From the asura giving chase to them, the thugs quickly speed up! Instead of wacking them at the head, Lu Chen begins to aim for their legs. That way, they can't escape anymore.

Hearing the screams and pleads of their comrades, the thugs who're at the front didn't escape. They ran back and tried to help them. But they got clobbered instead. Lu Chen is like the grim reaper as anybody that got in his way will be sent next to the death's door. Injured or begging people or not, Lu Chen continues to beat them to a bloody pulp. Zhang is no different either. He had followed behind Lu Chen and swung the chair at the thugs. He has no ounce of remorse and pity for what's he doing. These people wanted to end their lives. It's survival. A tooth for a tooth, and an eye for an eye, he keeps wailing on them.

As they are being beaten, the thugs couldn't believe these two kids are only just highschool students. They shouldn't be called students. Zhang Jian and Lu Chen are like vicious tigers, playing around with their prey. How could kids these days be so cold-blooded?! This is the only question going through their mind as they're being beaten down. And praying they will never mess with people like this again.

After a few minutes, the bat drops to the ground. Lu Chen didn't have enough strength to hold it anymore. But the damage he caused is more than enough. They looked like diced pork. Tho, they had consciousness.

With the sound of the metal bat falling, the thugs felt a sense of relief that Lu Chen isn't beating them anymore. Solace and fatigue consume their body, yet all of it is driven away when they saw what Lu Chen is trying to do.
