Chapter 127: Dogs and Cats

Ye Meixiu looks at Lu Chen and notices the bandages wrapped around his forehead. Worry instantly fills her heart.

"Brother Chen, why are you injured like this?! Who did this to you?!" Walking quickly over to Lu Chen's side, Ye Meixiu sat by the side of his bed and began to caress his head. To see her crush injured like this almost made her heart break. But then her heart began to steel itself as hatred took over. If I find whoever did this to my brother Chen, I will pay them back ten-fold.

The look on her face made Lu Chen's expression soften up as he explains, "Meixiu, I'm fine. I just fell by accident and hit my head really hard on the ground. I was only unconscious for a while." Lu Chen left out the part where he was knocked out for two hours. He knew if he had told her, it would definitely cause more trouble than needed.

While Lu Chen thought about this, there was another thought going through his mind. Meixiu, why are you wearing these types of clothes?

Ye Meixiu wore a white v neck shirt, showing off her snow-white collarbone. And then the black skirt, showing off her angelic legs and thighs. Anybody looking will definitely either want to take her home or marry the girl. She is the definition of what cute and sexy should look like. But Lu Chen didn't think about any of those two.

He just looks at her with shock. Lu Chen couldn't imagine her wearing these types of clothing.

Despite my age, I can still take care of my brother Chen flawlessly.” With the emphasis on the word my, Ye Meixiu hugs Lu Chen's other arm.

Kang Shuchun and Ye Meixiu are like a dog and a cat. They could not get along with each other.

And the person in the middle feels he's in heaven and hell at the same time. The two glaring at each other made Lu Chen feel Armageddon is going to happen at any moment.
