Chapter 122: Instant Kill Mode

"I’m so sorry!" Kang Shuchun is somehow alright and had woken up from her "sleep." But right now, she is doing a dogeza on the floor towards Lu Chen and Elder Wu. She begs for forgiveness from the two of them.

This useless child. Elder Wu shakes his head, "Seriously, how could you almost die from a lap pillow?" The moment he came back, what he saw is Lu Chen being surrounded by a pool of Kang Shuchun's blood. He had to hit her to force the girl to wake up.

“I had asked you to spar with Lu Chen. But now we have wasted so much time because of you.” Elder Wu wonders how his strongest disciple becomes such a weak sheep in front of her crush.

Seeing how downcasted she looks, Lu Chen consoles her, “it’s ok, big sis. It was my fault for suddenly hugging you. You were probably surprised by it.” He knows he's at fault for suddenly hugging her. Anybody would have been shocked by it.

Kang Shuchun looks up at Lu Chen as if he is an angel descending from heaven. She tries to sniffle in her tears back and hugs him really tight.

“Chen Chen, you’re the only person that cares for me.” Kang Shuchun starts to snuggle deep into Lu Chen's chest. Like a little child hugging a teddy bear. Lu Chen strokes her head and continues to console her,

“Aww, big sister, don’t cry.”

Elder Wu rolls his eyes. What am I, chopped liver? He ignores Shuchuns comment and turns to Lu Chen, “Now that your Shuchun is awake, young master, she will be your sparring partner.”

“I’m going to be sparring with big sister?” Lu Chen looks at Kang Shuchun, who is still in his arms, rubbing her face around. How could such a ditzy cute person be my sparring partner? He knew Kang Shuchun had been training under Elder Wu from his past. But how could he punch her right now? It will be like hitting a defenseless child.

“But shouldn’t big sister rest? A lot of blood had come out of her nose.” The amount of blood from the bloody nose incident is something that would make a regular person faint. Yet she is acting fine and dandy. Sister, don’t you need a transfusion?

“She’ll be fine. Shuchun is a lot sturdy than you think.” Elder Wu said. Kang Shuchun had faced many trials and tribulations to be called the strongest after him.

"But I can't hit her. Just look at her." Kang Shuchun is acting like a puff-ball right now and became hesitant.

However, Elder Wu gives him a warning look, “Lu Chen, never underestimate a person. It doesn’t matter what she’s acting right now. She is still a fighter.”

This child needs to be taught this lesson. Before Lu Chen could say anything, Elder Wu shouts, "Shuchun! Fight!." The moment Elder Wu yelled her name, Kang Shuchun’s expression changes instantly.

The woman went into battle mode and tightened her grips around Lu Chen’s waist. Before Lu Chen had any time to scream, she tripped Lu Chen and spun him around like a windmill. She quickly tosses him, and he flys straight towards the tree like a rocket.

“Ahhhh!” Lu Chen's body was upside down when he slams into the tree. The tree almost cracked. But he slides down headfirst to the ground.

“...” Elder Wu became speechless. Just utterly dumbfounded. Kang Shuchun had gone instant kill mode onto Lu Chen. She crushed him like an ant.

Huo Dong and Wu Zhen quickly jumps down from the tree and runs to Lu Chen. They quickly move to check his vitals.

“Oh, thank god. He’s still breathing.” Wu Zhen sighs in relief and turns to Kang Shuchun, “ Shuchun, how could you do that to Lu Chen!”

And the woman in question is still raising her fighting intent for a few minutes. She snaps out of her fighting mode. When she saw Lu Chen down on the ground like a folded lawn chair,

“Chen Chen!” Kang Shuchun screams as she wanted to carry the unconscious Lu Chen to the hospital.
